The cashier and retail folks up front are kind and helpful. I had a negative interaction with a pharmacy technician. After calling CVS the day before to confirm I could walk in for a flu vaccine, the tech told me she didn't know how to operate their registration system to process vaccines. I understand these things happen though I told her I felt frustrated after making the drive in from remote Ashe Co. She became aggressive, interrupting me and raising her voice saying the store and pharmacy don't communicate. She once again raised her voice to tell both pharm techs and a retail worker to tell people up front they need to tell customers no walk in appointments because some woman is angry. I wasn't angry about the inconvenience, I was bewildered by the way she treated me. I spoke with a manager who said the tech is usually great and gets good feedback. While I'm glad she's usually great, that is irrelevant to the way she treated me.We all have rough days and after this experience, I will go elsewhere.

I have been waiting for the pharmacy to speak to me for 30 minutes and still no answer. My husband could have been there by now. This CVS needs to fix the answering machine or hire some help. I certainly am glad I don't have to use this pharmacy often.

Staff is generally friendly and helpful, the store is clean, and I haven't had issues finding what I needed. I didn't give 5 stars as the pharmacy itself is often very busy and wait times can be long.
