Just returned form a trip to Kitty Hawk, NC and this was the first stop on our three day trip. What a fantastic winery with wonderful people. We immediately felt at home and was the perfect start to our mini vacation with friends.We tried every wine during the tasting and took home some of our favorites. They allowed us to being in our own food as we had packed some snacks for the trip. A lot of wineries don't allow this but we literally had this huge table to spread out and enjoy our treats while enjoying a glass of wine.My only regret is we couldn't get back for any of the evening music which would have been so enjoyable. This place will be on our list every time we come to OBX.Thank you!!

We went just looking for a Sunday afternoon excursion from the beach. Were very pleasantly surprised. All the wines we tasted (dry whites and reds) were awesome! The gentlemen who was working there was very cordial and informative. He even took us in the back to see the wine barrels and explained some about the wine-making process. We bought several bottles to go, and will definitely be back for more.

Wonderful experience here. We just recently moved to the area in slow season, so we did not need to make a reservation. But if you happen to be in the area during high or busy season, I highly recommend you making a reservation. We were able to taste two flask of wine. We went home with the “Frontin’” bottle and plan on returning to buy more wine in the future. Customer service was amazing as well as the wine! This is such a staple in the community and I’m so glad they’re here!

Nice vineyard with friendly staff. Thursday nights for the spring/summer they have live music and a food truck. The food was delicious. They have a nice outdoor seating area as well as adequate indoor seating if the weather is poor. Cute little gift shop inside.

Gorgeous vineyard! Stunning grounds, beautiful tasting room and indoor space, fabulous wine, first-class staff. They offer all sorts of wonderful events year round, and the entire enterprise is extremely welcoming and inviting. It's a must-visit in the Outer Banks.

Stopped in for a special music night they were having. Picked up some excellent BBQ at a food truck and enjoyed some great music by Mercy Creek. Weeping Radis Brewery also was there selling some of their craft beers. Lots of outdoor picnic tables with great views of the stage. Also picked up some tasty wines. Check this place out on a Thursday or Saturday night!!

I had a great time at their Crabdaddy Wine festival. The music & food was great! I really enjoyed the wine as well. Everyone was really nice only prob was 1 bathroom so just don’t wait until the last minute to go. They also had a hayride that was cool.

Just happened to see the sign for this place and decided to give it a try. We were on our way to OBX. Elton was friendly, knowledgeable and even interacted with our 14 month old daughter. We were happy with our visit and discovered the tasting was free! We did buy a bottle of The Plank.

Always a pleasure visit the Sanctuary Vineyards. The drive is so nice and the place is just a great place to relax and drink some awesome wine. They also do the Crab Daddy which the best all you can eat crab event. I love this place and can't wait to go back.

Their policy about applying tasting fee to purchase is absolutely fair, their prices are reasonable, and the staff are very knowledgeable. Delicious wines, especially their sparkling rose and blackberry wines! Do not miss, even just for a quick stop!

Love the wine. But,the customer service is top shelf. Just received my order of a case. Definitely worth the cost of shipping. It was packed secure with styrofoam for each bottle. The receipt and a sweet handwritten note. That really gave my heart ❤️ a huge smile which in the moment of the world 🌍 it was beyond appreciated. Thank you. Most definitely will be ordering as soon,if not before we drink this case.

We had a Vineyard Voyage tour booked with Kitty Hawk for our bachelorette party. The boat ride was very pleasant, great captain. The vineyard is beautiful and wine testing was outstanding with good wine selection. The whole experience was amazing and highly recommended.

This was the best winery I’ve visited hands down! The diversity of the wines and flavors was astonishing and Kathleen was so nice! I think she was the nicest person we met on our entire vacation. She was the one helping us throughout our tasting and she was very knowledgeable. We also met another girl working, Taylor, who was very friendly as well. We unfortunately had to cut out of the tour a little early but she was a great tour leader and really informative about the history of the winery and the growing and processing of the grapes. These two are very welcoming and a pleasure to be around. If the owner reads this: please allow an option to leave a tip on a credit card for the great staff members. I feel bad not bringing cash with me for a tip.

Out of town, passing through. Stopped in, place was beautiful. Was excited to do a little wine tasting with my partner. Was turned off by the gentleman that worked there. Licking his fingers. Then if that wasn't distasteful to watch. The gentleman was picking his nose. We decided not to do wine tasting after all. Instead we brought 2 bottles. So, for anyone passing by just buy the wine. Seems like the gentleman that worked there was doing his own tasting, picking his nose.
