We recently moved away, and I just want to say how thankful I am to have had Ironton Animal Hospital for the past 10 years. I will really miss them. The facility is very clean and the people are fantastic and caring. They made it so easy to have healthy pets with their appointment reminders and easy online prescription refills. When my dog got his teeth cleaned they called to check up on him afterwards. Such a nice gesture - it means a lot. Keep up the great work! I'd recommend them every time to anyone asking for a vet in the Lincolnton area.

We usually see Dr. Levine with our cats and Dr. Creech with our dogs. Very impressed with how much they care about our furbabies. My only concern is that they don't leave enough openings for emergencies. I would rather they see our babies instead of an emergency vet that doesn't know my pets.

Ironton has taken care of both of my dogs. My youngest had a seizure as soon we we walked through the door at our last appt and the Ironton staff immediately jumped into action, took great care of her, and periodically updated me throughout the entire process. All of my questions were answered thoroughly and with patience and kindness. One staff member even helped me get her out to my car! My family is very thankful for efficient and caring staff! We would recommend Ironton to anyone!

The only problem I have is that you do not take care of urgent or emergency cases that occur to your own clients/patients during regular business hours. Instead u refer everyone to the emergency vet in Denver which costs more than most can afford before they will even take your pet into a room. This is very disturbing and frustrating. If there were an emergency, God forbid, I'd have to find another ver that would see her at the time. That is the only complaint I have but it is a very important one, so I'd have to divulge that before recommending anyone.She is given good & professional care when it is scheduled appointments.

Best Veterinary clinic I’ve ever been to Dr. Levine saved my dogs, a Maltese and a Yorky from dying. He would not stop until they got better and they did. This is where I will always take my dogs.

First visit for my 4 yr old Golden Retriever. Just an exam for a hot spot and for possible future vet purposes (ya, looking for a vet) Saw Dr. Levine. I liked him. Enjoyed the staff. Very clean facilities. Exam room a little small but plenty sufficient. Prices were lower than most. That's attractive. Wonderful care plans. Will I return?? Yes.

They've been my German Shepherd's primary care physician since he was just 7 weeks old. They have an awesome puppy plan: for a small monthly fee it covers unlimited office visits and all the vaccines. They are so very caring and compassionate with my fur-baby. They will do whatever it takes to make any office visit as pleasant as possible for your pet. My doggo actually loves going there! 😊

Friendly, compassionate staff with amazing customer service. App/website is user friendly. Decent pricing for vet care, will always prioritize the health of your fur babies. Spay/neuter prices are cheap compared to other animal hospitals/vets locally and it's easy to get an appointment

I was very disappointed with one of the vets at this facility as he made me feel as though I was bothering him with our sweet elderly dog. She has since passed away. 😭The rest of the staff have always been very helpful and friendly but I'm not going back to this place...😥

One of the vets here is not the nicest person. I dont want to go back there because of him. Also, after some tests, they still don't know why my precious cat is losing weight and want to recommend another Dr farther away. They were very expensive too, and I have to go to someone else! I should have gone to another Dr in the first place. I'm not happy with this place.

My family has been coming to Ironton Animal Hospital for a minimum of 10 years. We originally loved the business, praised it to everyone, and recommended it to friends and family. But now, it's just...really not the same.My family recently took our chihuahua-dachshund mix here for the issues of his claws falling off. He's in a lot of pain, they're visibly rotting, etc.. Dr. Levine said he didn't even need to look at our dog's feet and said he was fine. No exam. No medication. They just trimmed our dogs nails (which, mind you, are extremely painful for him to have touched, let alone trimmed) and sent us on our way with no regard for our dogs health.Sadly, this isn't the first time we've had an issue like this, but it's arguably the worst. We've also taken another dog of ours here for pain and lack of mobility and had it largely dismissed.Even though we've spent a long time with this vet, we won't return to it. They just don't care about the pets anymore.

We love this office! Dr. Levine and Dr. Creech are both super kind, respectful, and have taken great care of our dog. We also really like the affordable plans that this office carries, which cover everything you could need for your puppy/dog. I would highly suggest this office, and we plan to be a long-term customer. The boarding facility is also great, and the ladies who staff it are always super kind and do an amazing job. Our dog loves going to both places, and it is very comforting to know that she is in great hands at their facilities.
