Amazing staff. I’m not a primary patient and had an emergency with my cat. They immediately told me to come in and that it may be a wait but they will see him. I got here and they wasted no time rushing my cat to the back. I love how proactive they were with my son.

I always feel so appreciated each time I contact them by email, phone and go inside. All are so personable and really care about my Ralph. Dr. Kaylor is such a gentle, good doctor also. I've also "day" boarded my Ralph and it was a pleasant episode. Keep it up guys!

We have been loyal to ITAH for almost 20 years. I have been through loss of a beloved pet as well as new pet loved ones! Every vet technician and veterinarian has been amazing. I think we have seen them all over the years! They all love my girl! Even the up front staff loves Torrent! :) She’s feisty, but they all shower her with love and kisses. The office has always been open, honest, and very competitively priced. They have always worked within my budget to take care of my four legged family members!

The veterinary assistants, techs, and doctors are so loving and knowledgeable! It's convenient to schedule appointments, and there are a variety of options. We have always taken our beloved fur babies to ITAH. My daughter, son, and niece all take theirs there as well. We love ALL of the vets, especially Dr. Tabony and Dr. Wolfe. They got me through some tough times with my precious Hannah and her passing in 2021. Extremely caring and compassionate vets. When we recently got our latest family member, Miss Bella, we didn’t hesitate to go to ITAH. All of the staff there are great as well. You can tell they all love animals. We have also used their boarding services on many occasions and can highly recommend that too.

Doctors and nurses were fantastic but the receptionists were unsympathetic and abrasive. There have also been past experiences of misdiagnosis at this vet- it was not life threatening but it did make life uncomfortable for my pet for a time. I don't think I will keep going to this vet mainly because of the poor reception experience.

I had a great experience here, took my dog sunny for her check up an vaccine shots. Even though she was a bit tough to work with like any other dog that doesn’t like going to the vet. They worked well with her. Would go back for her next visits for sure. The Staff was very friendly a kind to us on our arrival a very patient with her while she got used to the place. Would highly recommend them for any pet needs.

I’m not one to leave reviews. My past three experiences with this practice has left me no choice. As an owner of three dogs, I value the care they receive. I recently moved to this area from another part of Charlotte, so I have to admit I am quite shell shocked. My 90llb doodle grabbed two vegan chocolate bars off my counter. They were 25% each coca powder. He was so sick. I rushed him to this practice who said they didn’t have time to see him. They instructed me to call poison control. They said they wouldn’t call for me, even though I drove there with him throwing up in my car the entire way. They also said he would have to wait for them to work him in between their regular appointments.I wasn’t asking for special treatment here. My dog was sick and still is. This vet is only concerned about money and clearly doesn’t care about its patients. That might be a reach but the staff is beyond horrible.I don’t care how many 5 star reviews this place has. Do yourself a favor and pick another vet. If your pet is in need of emergency care during the day, these people don’t have time for you. We will be going back to our previous providers. I’ll also be posting this on my personal and business pages. Not out of revenge but no animal should be refused care like my baby was today.

I brought my dog in because his stomach was swollen. They did an x ray & took blood work. They said there was a bunch of fluid in his stomach and he needed to go get an ultrasound. This was on a Saturday. Couldn't get in to get the ultrasound until Wednesday. The stool and urine samples were dropped off Monday. I got a call later that day saying nothing came back in his blood work and they would let me know about the urine and stool samples when they came back and also would review the ultrasound when it was done. He went for the ultrasound at the emergency vet and they found a lot of fluid around his heart and they made an appointment for him to see a cardiologist the next morning. He took a turn for the worse and had to be taken back that night to have the fluid removed or his heart was going to stop beating . The next morning we met with the cardiologist. The place ITAH referred me to was great they really care about your pets safety and wellbeing. I cannot say the same for ITAH as I have not heard from them about the ultrasound, the urine and fecal samples, my pets Dr has not called since the blood work. The place that did the ultrasound and had the cardiologist has tried to get the files and tests sent over so they can review them with no luck. They have not heard from my regular veterinarian. They called when they did the ultrasound and were told she's not in, so they sent their report over so she could review it. I have not heard from her. I called about the test results since no one has contacted me about them and was told she was out of the office, this was Thursday. It's now Monday a week after the samples were dropped off and I still have not received a call, even after the receptionist was informed my dog had almost lost his life and no one at the emergency vet can get in touch with my vet; nor can I so she said she would just try to read the test herself and let me know. I guess if the Dr goes on vacation at ITAH no other Dr is assigned to your case they just let your pet die. ***You didn't refer him to a specialist (cardiologist) Skyline did, the last I heard from you guys was that he was being sent for an ultrasound and once you got the results you would be in touch. And how was I supposed to know there was nothing related to his condition in his urine and fecal if no one called and told me, I only found out from you receptionist after we couldn't get in touch with the vet and she said she would just read the test the best she could. He was taking an antibiotic he didn't need to be on and it would have been nice to know asap that he could stop taking unnecessary medication

April 2023: I’ve been taking my cavapoo, Malibu, to Indian Trail animal hospital for a little over a year since I brought her home last year when she was 2 months. Unfortunately, we are moving out of state and have to part from this vet😢 The staff is beyond amazing, kind, and so helpful. Dr. Z and Dr. Tabony are the best vets!! Thank you for all you have done for my sweet Malibu this past year❤️ We will miss Indian Trail animal hospital immensely!September 2023: I so wish I could write two reviews, just because this place deserves it, even months later of not being in their care. As I’m now living in South Carolina, I had to take Malibu to a new groomer so I needed a copy of her vaccination records and I couldn’t find them anywhere so I called up itah, Raegan answered and emailed them to me. I also found out over the phone that Raegan was my favorite receptionist of all time when we went to visit lol she loved (& still does) Malibu as much as I love my sweet girl. Raegan was always so sweet and kind every time she was working when we went to an appointment. ITAH is lucky to have her. After putting a name with the face I had to add her to my review. If I could change my review to 6 stars out of 5 I so would.

My West Highland Terrier, Kaylee, was a patient at ITAH for several years. Her doctor was Dr Kaylor, who is informed, compassionate, and took excellent care of Kaylee. A few years ago Kaylee had skin issues and started losing her fur. Under the care of Dr Kaylor, her coat made a 360 degree turn around, growing back to normal, and her itchy skin issues were under control. Recently, Kaylee, at almost 16 years old, crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The staff and Dr Kaylor could not have been more caring and supportive during this transition. They truly care and their professionalism and compassion are evident. I highly recommend this veterinary practice.

I used to take my kitty, Bear Bear to see Dr. Kaylor many years ago and he left a wonderful impression on me! When I recently found two lumps on my fur baby Boo Boo and she was having difficulty eating, I knew right then and there she would not be seen by any other vet but Dr. Kaylor! A few days ago, Dr. Amanda Slusky saved my dogs life and did emergency surgery due to a ruptured mass in her belly. I’ve never been faced with any type of true dog emergency like this before and I just have never been more grateful for this Dr. And the staff who made my most awful dog mom moment into a miracle. My girl is getting better every day thanks to this great clinic. There aren’t enough words, but Thank you for staying late and saving my dogs life! I highly recommend this clinic ❤️

I have had the best care possible for my beloved dog at this clinic and she is now almost 15 years old. My son also has brought his two dogs here for years. He feels the same. We would not take our pets anywhere else. I referred my neighbor there for her two dogs and she told me she was thrilled to finally find a place like Indian Trail Animal Hospital. They did a great job giving my guinea pigs nails trims. My guinea pigs are very anxious when being handled but the vet assistants took great care of them for me. Highly recommend.

Everyone at the front desk is always very friendly and helpful! They work super quickly and are incredibly accommodating. The technicians are always so so nice and great with the animals. From the moment I walked through the door it was wonderful! The staff upFront was amazing. All of them!!! From the front on…My vet tech was amazing and Dr Wolfe is beyond awesome! I am so relieved to know my puppy will be taken care of for his lifetime. Dr Wolfe didn’t even use a table. She sat on the floor with my baby. ITAH is awesome and absolutely filled with love from the front to the back. This is the place to trust your precious babies with! I fill so blessed! 🐾

I was recommended to Indian Trail animal hosp. by my realtor. It was the best experience I've had with a vet and their staff. My cat Sissy is now 100 % and was calm thru her exam and treatment.I must say it was a lot less expensive than expected, and a whole lot less traumatic than previous experiences elsewhere! Clean office, kind staff and smart, caring vet. What else could you ask for?! Thank you so much, you're our "go to guys" forever.

Bad service it's all about the money.. took my boxer here last year x-ray tech did not see the shirt. Few days shirt came out from my boxer.. Now 2024 same thing boxer ate my son socks. X-ray service $800 for service some other services... if I knew cost this much just to tell me theirs a socks I would have gone to emergency clinic. Last time...

They are all so caring and take the time to get to know me and my pets’ lifestyle to make treatment recommendations and to ensure their continued health. When we moved to this area a year ago, choosing a good vet for our greyhounds was a priority. ITAH came highly recommended. Our dogs have seen multiple vets in this practice, and their care has been first rate. From the moment we walk through the front doors, every time, the entire staff is super friendly. Our dogs love everyone there. Dr. Tabony’s diagnosis of our senior dog’s condition and recommendations for treatment have dramatically improved the quality of his life. Our other dog absolutely adores Dr. Z. We feel very lucky to have found such a caring and excellent practice.

We have been going to Indian Trail Animal Hospital for about 20 years and cannot say enough about the practice. Unfortunately, we’ve had to see most of the vets there, not just Dr. Kaylor, our regular vet. I say unfortunately because if you are seeing someone else in the practice, much like at your pediatrician’s office, it’s usually because there is an issue. Everyone there has been great, very friendly towards me when I go in, and very loving with my fur babies. I never feel like they are pushing any tests or medications just to get prices up, but they will be honest and let you know what is/should be prioritized. We moved from the area to SC 17 years ago and after 6 mos, I made the decision to make the drive to the practice whenever my pups needed to be seen. We have since moved back to the area but it wouldn’t matter, they are my vet practice as long as I have fur babies.

Today, we ended up meeting with our new Vet, Dr. Katie Wolfe at Indian Trail Animal Hospital! Dr. Wolfe, Cara the Vet Tech and the staff at this clinic/hospital politely greeted us when we arrived AND were exceptional to our Marley who’s getting up in years. He’s generally in good shape but he has a mass on his side that needs to be investigated. They all had a caring demeanor and took time to hear our concerns, as people who love their pets to the moon and back, and explained things with compassion. Plus, they even give dogs peanut butter to distract them while giving shots, etc. We’d HIGHLY recommend this Vet!!! ❤️🐶🙌🏻Note: You would think that all Vet clinics would have the compassion I describe above. I assure you it’s not the case.
