Best bath my dog has ever had! Smelled like he just had a bath over 2 weeks later and couldnt believe how clean he stayed for at least 3 weeks. Very friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommend. Will bring Ace back again for sure.

Dena was so very nice. I had an appointment at Sweet Peas in Marshville last Tuesday and the owner cancelled ten minutes before the appointment, after I had already driven twenty five minutes to get there. (I understand people get sick, but call at least an hour before the scheduled appointment time, not ten minutes.) I called Bow Wow's that day and Dena got me in the very next morning. (I apologize of I'm not spelling her name correctly.) This was my puppy's first groom and I was a little nervous, but she did a FANTASTIC job. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends and family and continue to take my little Maltipoo, Maya, there. Very reasonable price also.

My review was taken down but they managed to keep the picture of my Shih tzu. In the picture you will see her face was cut uneven, both of her paws were bloody, and she was bit from another dog. I had to take my puppy to the vet to stop the bleeding and checked. The experience was a nightmare. Please find a groomer that will treat your dog with love and care. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

This kennel is awesome! I was in urgent need while traveling from Lincolnton to Morehead City to find a place to board my Chihuahua. On 30 minutes notice Deanna took him in for 4 days! Rate was reasonable! I highly recommend!

This was the worst experience I have ever had for my Yorkie. First of all when I arrived the entire place smelled like cigarettes and the owner seemed to be under the influence of something. This initially made me skeptical about leaving my baby but she really needed the services at the time. When I picked her up I waited 10 mins as no one knew I had arrived. When the owner (Deanna) came around the corner she was smoking a cigarette ( VERY unprofessional!).As far as the grooming itself... HORRIBLE! My dog's trim was VERY choppy and uneven. It honestly looked like she had been cut by a drunk person. Two of her nails were bleeding and she had hair falling out all over the place. This is DEFINITELY NOT the place to go!

I board our dogs here every time we go out of town and they are always happy to be there. They always smell fresh and are very well taken care of from the time they walk in until they leave. I highly recommend that anyone bring their pets her eyes if u want top quality care! I would never take my dogs anywhere else.

Dropped my dog off today to get boarded, as I was talking to Deanna about the meds my German shepherd needed to take, my dog started having a seizure. Deanna was very calm and reassured us that she is fine, and I had my small children with me who were extremely upset. She told me to take them outside so they wouldn’t upset her. No one in our family has experienced our dogs having a seizure. Deanna was extremely pleasant, and calmed us all down. I am very thankful that Deanna was there when that happened! Thank you Deanna! You have always been wonderful to me and my family. ❤️

I have gotten my dog groomed and have received nothing like this before. My husky has had her tail shaved (which will damage her fur/coat) and does not smell like she has had a bath. WORST service I have received.

I have a goldendoodle and we weren’t able to afford her to get groomed in about a year. She got so matted I felt horrible and as soon as money came in we went to take her to get groomed. Took her to Bow Wow and told the groomer that it was bad and I know there might be a nick or two since she was so matted. Let me tell you, not one nick, NOT ONE! This was the worse our dog has ever gotten and even before when she was groomed without any matts she got nicked. When I picked up my dog she smelled amazing! Her breath was much better, her nails in great condition, ears cleaned. It was such a relief to have our pretty girl back! Also, she did exactly what we wanted. A complete shave down. Most groomers, even though we tell them a shave everything down as short as possible, they always leave her tail longer, or call us begging to do the “poodle” shave. And we hate that. So I seriously appreciate you doing as exactly as we wanted! You have received a new and permanent client!

Such a great facility. My mini Poodle Java loves going here. Dee takes such good care of my baby. The facilty is great. When I go on long trips I drop him off there and never have a worry. She also does fantastic cuts and realy cares for the dogs. I would recommend this place.

I've been coming here for the past 2 1/2-3 years, and love it. Not only do I bring my dogs here, but I also help out when she needs me to. My dogs are well taken care, they always smell and look so good. When I do help out we take care of each and every dog like they are our own. We take them outside to enjoy the fresh air, and have time to play around. Deania caters to each dogs and owners needs, and makes sure that her employees do the same. It is her goal to make sure each and every customer is satisfied when they come pick up their dogs. As far as the kennel part, I wouldn't let my dogs go anywhere else but Bow Wow. I know that they are well taken care of, and I don't have to worry about a thing when I'm gone. I know they will be comfortable and well taken care of. When ever I am taking my dogs to Bow Wow all I have to say to them is are you ready to go see Deania, and they get really excited and can not wait to get in the car and ride there. As soon as we get there they jump out of the car and run to the front door. As soon as they go in the house Deania greets them with arms wide open, and show them so much love. I have no doubt in my mind that they are happy and enjoy every moment at Bow Wow. If anybody ask for a recommendation this is the first place I recommend, and I always hear from them after saying how satisfied they were, and how they will continue using her. I HIGHLY recommend The Bow Wow Barbershop and Kennel...

She is WONDERFUL with our dog Baxter. She boards him when we go out of town, which is frequently. He is an anxious dog, but he loves going to the farm! When we get baxter back, he always smells so clean and well taken care of. I HIGHLY recommend! We drive an hour to bring Baxter here because we don't trust anyone else with Baxter!

First time visit is always nerve racking. The owner/Groomer put our fears at ease. Our Chinese Pug, “Sushi” definitely gets “almost” shaved down due to the heat in NC & AZ. The Groomer did a fantastic job with the entire process, and my Pug hates the water & nail trimming...so BRAVO TO YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE. Since the first visit we have return approx. 3 times and they were always like the first visit.

I have been grooming for 16 years and the past 3 years I've spent at The Bow Wow Barbershop. Everyday going to work is a lot of fun. Most of the customers have been going to The Bow Wow for several years and they are treated like family, as well as their fur babies. Deania has a great staff that is always very polite and willing to help each customer when needed. The kennel staff always make sure the pets get ample time to walk around outside,whether to use the restroom or to just have some fresh air. The pets are on a pretty tight eating schedule. The kennel always smells fresh and anytime a pet has an accident it is immediately cleaned up. As for myself and our other groomer we help with kennel duties when needed. We always try to make sure the pets are groomed in a timely fashion and we try to accommodate to each customers needs/wants for their fur baby. We have a wide variety of shampoos to choose from to bathe each pet (ie. flea,medicated, and oatmeal). Deania is always present when the kennel is being cleaned and when each pet walks through the door. She handles each pet with care and comfort and ensures that they're stay is the best it can be. I would definitely recommend bringing your fur baby to The Bow Wow Barbershop and Kennel!

Unfortunately wasn’t a good experience for my Yorkie ....she seemed almost sick when I picked her up (all her belongings smelled like cigarette smoke) and one of her toe nails was slightly bleeding from being groomed ....you can definitely find somewhere much better to board your fur babies ! Sorry but it was a terrible experience for us overall (her eyes were red as well AND she had a cut under her ear!!!)

We love Deania! I’m someone who doesn’t take negative reviews lightly especially when it comes to my 14 year old rescue, Jake. At the start of our conversation, I asked Deania about the negative review referring to a dog smelling like cigarette smoke. Deania was very upfront that she smokes cigarettes and reassured took this review seriously. She’s takes additional measures to reduce the likelihood of having another dissatisfied customer.Jake his many internal and external tumors. We needed an experienced & gentle groomer who could give Jake a deep clean without hurting him in the slightest. Deania was so good to Jake, that he gave her a hug (wrapped his head around her leg and rubbed his scent on her). He has NEVER done this with any vet or groomer.

My daughter scheduled an appointment and the next day she was having trouble locating the place and she called. They stated she didn't have an appointment and no appointments were available. Plenty of other fish in the sea.
