Mackenzie and her staff are the best! I have a very timid golden/black lab mix and when we arrive for a grooming, he is so excited to jump out of the car and see her! This is the only place outside of home he is comfortable being. Thank you Mackenzie for keeping my boy clean and loved 💗

Wonderful!!!! They treated my grand dog Beatrix with such care and love. They were able to fit her in their busy schedule for a wonderful bath and brushing. She looks so pretty! Her fur is shiny and she is happy. They took special care of her today!

We have been taking our Westie Duncan to Mackenzie for a long time now. The groomers that Duncan had before was rough with him and he did not want to go to Pawfections the 1st time, but Mackenzie won him over. Now when we turn down the road leading to her shop he starts getting excited. The time before his last visit I arrived early to pick him up and she allowed me to come in and stand beside the table as she worked on him. To say the least I was impressed with the way she handles the pets and the kindness and love that she shows them. She is also very meticulous with the job that she does. This last visit we also took in Duncan's new little brother Archie, so she can start working with him and getting him used to be at the groomers. If you know anything about Westies that have what is called Westie-tude that starts at a very young age. When they pups they are ornery, won't sit still for anything and have the attitude of a dog 10X their size, yet she was able to win him over in one visit.If anyone is looking for a Groomer in the Charlotte area I would HIGHLY recommend Mackenzie, you will not regret it. Oh and she is reasonably priced compared to the other shops in the area.Rick & Deanna Howard

Moved to the area over the summer & was in need of a groomer for my dachshund Walter. We’ve been going back ever since, and they always do a great job! The appointment is always the same price and length of time which is great. Each employee is helpful and friendly whether it’s over the phone or at the appointment.

Fine service but disappointed with the hair cut my puppy got:I took my Havanese, 4 months old puppy here today after reading good reviews on Nextdoor and Google.A man greeted us, Amanda took my dog in and asked me how we want the cut. I asked for a puppy cut, half off and that they would do it short above the ears and natural face not rounded.He had 4inch long soft wavy fur.We got a mini schnauzer looking dog back. Very disappointed. This was our first time. I read horror stories from other salons, this had good reviews. We got an okay service but as a new client and brand new for puppy grooming I was nervous to leave my pup where I only had the reviews to trust. I was definitely not getting anycomforting words one would love to hear: “Don’t you worry. We will take good care of him.”When I picked him up this man was handling the payment but no ones asked me if I like the look. I hated it. I didn’t see the tech so I asked for him. Freddy came out. I think he cared to do a good job but from my talk with him he was only told to cut half off.The puppy cut request nor anything else did not get to him.Maybe others don’t care about what their dog look like this much or if it is a matching style for their breed but I do. I do very much so does my other five family members. We really don’t like the look of our beloved dog now and can’t wait for his hair to grow out.I’d gladly give this place and other try if they seemed to care in the end or offered me a discount for next time or asked me to come again and simply express to offer me more of their attention to details. But non of those happened. So I think I’ll look for an other place where I’m not just charged $60 for a 5.5lb extra small dog (haircut and shampoo) without any care about wether I was satisfied or not. I was missing proper communication and info for first timers. I had to ask everything... such as do I wait or come back.I’m posting photos of before and after. This pup never had such short hair. He looks nothing like a havanese. There is only 1inch long hair left on him now…see it for yourselves. I cut some of the long hair that was around his nose to correct the old man look as soon we got home. A little better but way too short everywhere:0( Quite disappointed.Looking at your answer:I am not sure why I'd need to call you. You have my phone number. You just called me yesterday when I had to pick up my dog. I was just there yesterday. You make it sound like you are not sure which dog this was and where the notes are. I spoke to Amanda who did not pass down that we wanted half off and a puppy cut. Your answer does not make sense. You were vague with me and seemed to be rushing. You did't tell me your name... I asked, then you told me on my way out that the tech will be Freddy. I didn't know it wasn't going to be you grooming my puppy either. I also wasn't told to put everything in the cut notes and it didn't matter what I told you in words. No offense here. We will just not be going back because the communication was very shallow and we hate the outcome. I just want people to know that you are not as professional nor showed much care as you make it sound like. That's all. I hope this will help you improve your business and build in more care and detail into your communication especially with new customers.

Love this place, they're so friendly and great with my pittie Millie. Millie hates to have her nails trimmed, but the Staff at Pawfections is always so gentle with her and gets it done fast! I would recommend this place to take care of your pets grooming needs 100%!

Best grooming experience! One of our dogs has anxiety and usually does not do well with new faces. They did amazing with her. All 3 of our dog babies look amazing thanks to pawfections. Very happy with our experience here highly recommend !

It seems that we finally found the perfect groomer for our (Rough) Collie - it was by far the best grooming experience we ever had (we tried two other groomers before). The nails are looking perfect (as short as possible and really, really smooth) and her coat looks incredible and better than ever before after Makenzie has trimmed her. Therefore we do highly recommend Makenzie and Pawfections!

We have had a difficult time finding a good groomer for our 4-year-old Maltipoo. I am so glad we found Pawfections! We are extremely pleased with the style, service, and price. If you are looking for an excellent groomer, look no further. Pawfections is the best in the area hands-down!

I love Mackenzie and so do my dogs! Even after three years I am still thrilled with the service and care my dogs receive at Pawfections. I have two very large dogs with long hair and one small dog with short hair who all come back looking great and smelling good without being over perfumed. Haircuts are on point. Happy I found this place! Thank you Mackenzie for being the dog lover and talented groomer you are.

FINALLY found another amazing groomer. We lost our groomer several months ago and I was dreading finding a new one. Searched and found Pawfection and decided to give them a shot. My pups have NEVER smelled SO good after being groomed. The shop is small and SO cute. Pups are in precious wooden houses versus wired crates. I have a big dog and small dog and they both share which I think helps my little one and her anxiety. VERY happy I found Pawfection!

This is the first groomer I've used that hasn't sent my dog back home itching like crazy due to irritated skin. Or his paws aren't bleeding from them cutting into the quick. My poor baby was matted so he had to get all of his fur shaved off, but they did an amazing job. He smells good too. I will continue to used this groomer.

I just brought my Austrailian Shephard here for the first time. They got her in on a short notice and even stayed a little late to finish her up. They did a great job on her! I will definitely be back and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a groomer.

My daughter took her 5lb maltipoo for a haircut.They bathed the dog and said the dog was to hyper to cut. They wanted to charge $30 for the bath and they never provided service dog was brought in for. We told them we'd pay $20 for the bath since that was all they did. They refused to give us the dog. Police were called and they told them to give my daughter her dog and go to court for the extra $7. Only $7 because they give 5% discount for cash! She says she will take my daughter to court for $7. Officer just shook his head. Do not think these are people you want to deal with.

Great pet grooming at an affordable price!Pawfections provides excellent grooming services for your fur baby! We have a Yorkie Poo that goes there on a regular basis and she always comes out looking "pawfect". They provide a full selection of grooming services. A standard package includes a bath with shampoo & conditioner, blow drying, a specific haircut based upon your dog’s breed standard and/or your individual style choice, ear cleaning, nail clipping and gland expressing - all for around $50! Options include nail filing, teeth brushing and more that I'm not sure about. Makenzie and the rest of the staff will treat your special one like their own. If you are located in the Huntersville area and have a dog, you owe it to them to visit Pawfections!
