My mom has been bringing her dogs here for years and they’ve always done a great job. I have my own dog now and he doesn’t get professionally groomed very often because he can be a pain. I decided to finally bring him in today because he was getting pretty shaggy and they did AMAZING. We had a thorough consultation at drop off and the staff was very friendly and helpful and I picked up my pup looking more handsome than ever!

Quite unimpressed with the level of professionalism of how a male(the owner) would treat a female customer. How is it alright to be demeaning and disrespectful in a manner that is unacceptable of a business owner. On 20231117 my wife had called at 3:45 pm after dropping the dogs off at 9 am. She was told that due to a groomer being sent home they were behind and were just getting to our two dogs. She went to the groomer ad my wife asked if a note could be left on the account to be called if this happens again, she was told by the woman at the desk said, excuse me? Her tone and level of irritation was absurd and said she was going to get the owner. He said that there were 30 dogs to be groomed yet were understaffed and told her she could pay an “express fee” to make sure to get them done by a specific time, when One of the dogs didn’t even get his dew claws clipped. Pretty upsetting to know that businesses are willing to compromise professionalism over a simple request. I guess this is just the days we live in now. So much for working with the customer to maintain their business.

Truly the greatest groomers I’ve ever found. While visiting PA for the past 3 months, I took my Kahlua to 4 different groomers to have his nails clipped. He had major temper tantrums for each one and got tossed out. I called Personal touch for any advice as to how to manage him. They spoke many times with me offering advice. Just got home to NC and took him in for his nails. They got the job done (as usual) with no problems! In fact, they told me what a good dog I have. Looking forward to enrolling Kahlua in their dog daycare program!

First visit and highly impressed with their overall grooming knowledge and active 'puppy grooming acclimation' program so that new puppies can start a life of ongoing/regular grooming appointments with a positive experience. The haircut was awesome and provided him some much needed relief from the heat.

We’ve taken our dog here several times for nail clippings since we live very close to this location. Every time we get to the place, our dog is put off. And every time we leave he is desperate to get out of there. At first I thought it was because he doesn’t like people touching his paws and that’s what he associates this place with. This last time we went, I asked for the girl to make sure to cut his dew claws because we’ve had experiences in the past here where they were not cut and then they get too long. She took him and he was out in like 2 minutes and again desperate to leave. Today I see his dew claws and one looks split like they were cut incorrectly. To me, it confirms that they just try to rush through clipping him to get him in and out and they don’t care if he’s scared or put off. They’re just rushing through the service and hoping the owners don’t notice. Yet they’ll raise the prices on services and then ask for a tip at the register. They have no problem taking your money but they do nothing to help ease the dog. We won’t be back.

A great place to have my dog's nails groomed. The staff is kind and the nails were done very quickly. And my dog was happy when she came out from the back. Pricing is very good for their services. I will be taking her here monthly for nail grooming.

They took great care with my elderly dog until she passed. The people are fantastic there, I always felt comfortable leaving her there. My mominlaw and several friends also take their dogs there.

My pup and I had a good experience here recently. We did a walk-in for a nail cutting and it was very quick. My buddy came back out and the lady gave us an update on how he did, and he looked great. He's a happy little guy now that his nails are shorter!

I boarded my cat, Chainsaw, here for 10 days. Everyone was super nice and they allowed me to visit him for as long as I wanted. I could tell he was being looked after. They put extra toys in his kennel and gave him a smaller kennel within it that he could sleep in to feel safer. When I picked him up the employees said he was a great cat and that they would hold him and pet him often. I'm very grateful for your services!

My new favorite place to get my babies groomed!! I took my dog here today and the staff was just amazing. So friendly and professional and answered any questions I had. They were very sweet towards my hyper, excited dog as soon as they saw her. My dog came out looking so cute and was a very happy girl! I highly recommend this place :)

We have the privilege of boarding our 3 dogs and cat here every summer! They take amazing care of animals, and never make you feel like a bother! We were nervous to leave our 5-6 week old kitten, but they did an exceptional job. We visited our fur babies mid week on vacation, and every employee we talked to, told us about how they passed around the kitten as much as they could during the day, because they knew that she needed a lot of attention. A week before our vacation, our dogs got into a fight over food, and one of our dogs had to have a few stitches. The staff here really went above and beyond to take care of him, they cleaned him every day, and made sure that he was getting his antibiotics. Our other dog also had a few wounds from the fight that we did not know about, and they cleaned and cared for his wounds and immediately told us about them. The cuts were not deep, and were scabbed up, but they made sure that they would not get infected while he was there. They didn’t make us feel like bad dog owners, and they understood that brothers get into fights. They took the time to really care for our animals while we were on vacation at Emerald Isle, and believe me when I tell you that it is well worth the money we spend every year! If you are considering boarding, grooming or even daycare with them... DO IT!! You will never regret it!!

Ive been taking my dogs here for years. Personal touch has always been great with our dogs and we have never had any problems with them what so ever. They truly know what theyre doing. This is not to mention that they have always treated us like family ever time. Great place and great people!! Strongly recommend..

Absolutely phenomenal! I have a precious Great Dane that is “my baby!” I boarded him while outta town months ago and recently used their doggy daycare- pup always leaves happy... never see anything but a smile on employee’s faces... I “obsess” about my pups care and I feel 110% content and confident in leaving him... knowing he is in great care and getting all the loving attention he loves and needs! Absolutely amazing people!!!

Family run business and they care for your pets like family! We have 9 dogs of various temperaments and they do amazing with them all! Last year our 10th dog passed away from cancer and after I let them know they actually sent flowers to our home. They are phenomenal and truly love your dogs. I'd recommend them to anyone.
