It was a cute cabin for a great weekend getaway. They left a personalized note at arrival and a treat for our dog. Cabin is pet friendly and plenty of space across the street for a walk. The tub is great for a peaceful soak with an amazing view. We would stay there again. Short walk to town.

An absolutely lovely, quaint stay. It rained the entire time we were there and we didn’t care in the least because it gave us an excuse to truly use the cabin to relax. The tub was great, the movies were fun to pick through, the bed and linens were comfy, the place was clean and quiet, good airflow, picturesque scenery, GREAT town, GREAT suggestions from the owners. We randomly went to Big Pillow Brewery on free bingo night and played with the locals and wound up winning socks and an awesome Big Pillow trucker hat. We shopped at neat shops, ate awesome food at the brewery to-go window, hiked on the AT to Max Patch, but mostly just chilled in the cabin. It really is a great little place to stay. Will 100% stay in this cabin when we return for another relaxing getaway.

Spend a few night here with my cousins and we loved it. We hiked a small section of the Appalachian Trail and this was pure beautiful resting place. Natalie, the host was amazing and wonderful with us. The place was clean and easy access to the town.

The Chickadee cabin was perfect !! Beautiful, Cozy and very clean. Flower garden was beautiful !! Very comfortable beds and great patio for hanging out. The owners really make a great place for their guests. Great location close to everything. We will definitely stay again

Cute, quant little cabin situated perfectly for our time in Hot Springs! Allowed us to access the AT straight from the front door and the Hot Springs in mere minutes. We loved it!

This is one of my favorite places to stay in Hot Springs! The views out of the bedroom windows are simple stunning to watch the sun rise in the morning! Natalie is an absolute gem;). Highly recommend.

Natalie is awesome . . She was available for any questions . Lots of information was left in the cabin for those who visit . We will be back for sure . The place was clean and very comfortable . As you can see it looks like a little paradise all your own . I took these pictures this last weekend. I could not believe how great my photos came out . You can see how beautiful this is . You literally are right at an entrance to the trail . I loved the tub with jets . It was very relaxing . Thank you Natalie . It was a pleasure to stay in your cabin .

Just stayed at the Goldfinch cabin of the Little Bird cabins in Hot Springs, NC. It was very clean and in such a great location. We had a wonderful time there as we hiked different parts of the Appalachian Trail everyday. I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely cabin right by the Appalachian trail. There were 5 of us girls and it was perfect. Clean, comfortable sleeping. Beauty all around. We were very happy after a good long hike! Thank you for sharing!

My sister & I LOVE the Little Bird cabins. Last year we stayed in the Chickadee Cabin which we really enjoyed. This year we stayed in the Goldfinch Cabin in hopes that another sister would be able to join us (3 bedrooms!). Both cabins have been designed with so much thought and detail. Like the shaker peg hooks on the walls. The cabins are within walking distance of downtown Hot Springs, but the locations gives it the feel of being in the mountains. Great view and right across from the Appalachian Trail. Very relaxing getaway! We are already looking forward to our Sisters trip next year - just can't decide which cabin we want to stay in!

We enjoyed our stay at the Goldfinch Cabin! The cabin was very clean and well-taken care of. It's in a nice location, close to the Appalachian Trail on a quiet street. Natalie is great to work with! She is very responsive and provided some fantastic recommendations for hikes and restaurants.

Chickadee is a great cabin for 2 adults and one dog. The cabin came equipped with everything we needed. Clean. Hot tub was perfect to soak and look out the window. Superb location, walked into town most of the time and able to access AT trails without a problem. D&MAB and Lili!

Stayed here after a 2 and a half day trip on the AT. Nice little cabin that are well maintained. Very clean and the location is perfect. It's somewhat secluded but within an easy walking distance from anything downtown. Natalie was awesome to work with and even accommodated a couple of what seemed like last minute changes on our part. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing week at the Chickadee cabin. Easy check in to start off. It was cozy and had all the amenities you need. Loved all the DVDs some good ole classics in there also played a board game. The cabin was clean and the queen bed comfortable. Loved the jacuzzi tub. Very close to town either by walking or a quick drive. Last but not least we really appreciated that it was dog friendly and didn’t charge a lot extra for our fur babies. We will definitely be back!

Awesome little cabin in an beautiful little town. Owners responded promptly to any inquiries we had. They were also very open about a couple of things. These were things I would not have even noticed, if Natalie didn't bring them to my attention. They were also completely out of their control. I was very impressed with the whole experience. Cabin was super clean and was everything would could have hoped for. I could not recommend Little Bird Cabins more. Our only regret is opting to stay in Asheville one night. We should have stayed in Hot Springs another night instead.Pro Tip: If you stay in Hot Springs, take the Lover's Leap Trail hike....Amazing

I loved my stay at the Chickadee Cabin! Everything was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect! I was able to easily walk into town via the AT path just down the road, enjoy a day at the spa, hike to Lover’s Leap and spend time just relaxing and unwinding at the cabin. The jetted tub was heavenly! Loved the views, too. The cabin is also very well appointed. I forgot to pack shampoo and was pleased to find a stash of various products available for guests’ use. My only suggestion would be to consider adding a small shelf in the bathroom to allow guests to place things like toothbrushes, cosmetics, hairbrush, etc. The welcome note and Hershey’s kisses were a sweet and thoughtful touch! It’s obvious that these cabins are well loved and maintained.I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I plan to come back soon!

Beautiful, clean, and charming cabin located conveniently close to the Appalachian Trail and the town of Hot Springs. Natalie keeps the cabin so clean and cozy. This was our third visit! The flowers in the front garden are beautiful and the view from the bedrooms is peaceful. We recommend the Iron Horse Station for a great meal. After hiking 21+ miles on the AT in one day, the burger and sweet potato fries were amazing! We also enjoyed a soak at the Hot Springs Resort the next day. We had a nice time eating other meals in the cabin at the dining table while looking out at the garden. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend to rest and be surrounded by nature, this is for you.

My wife and I stayed overnight in the Chickadee Cabin. We found the cabin to be very clean, quaint and cozy, with plenty of room for 2 people. Come evening time we enjoyed the jacuzzi tub followed by watching a DVD from the great selection stored in the room for guests. -- We are already talking about making a return visit.To Natalie and Family - Thanks for creating such a pleasant atmosphere for overnight visits to Hot Springs!

My Husband and I have stayed at Little Bird Cabins 4 times and each time is magical, in fact we just got home today from spending a week there. We always go in the fall during leaf season and take in the views.. Natalie does an excellent job having the cabin spotless and ready for another fabulous vacation. The cabin is private and quaint yet a short walk/drive to a small store and restaurants.Thanks again Natalie, Don and Judy

My wife and I spent a week in the Hot Springs area and the cabin was very accomodating. The location has great access to town and several hiking trails. The small towns in the area are quite quaint and easy to get to by car. The cabin had plenty of space for the two of us and a nice deck to have morning coffee or a water after a long hike.

From a morning cup of coffee on the porch at sunrise to an evening walk into town for some music and a brew ... the sweetest little cabin on the Appalachian Trail. Watching the birds and the bees and the butterflies or gazing at the stars at night ... paradise! Everything you need to enjoy a home away from home and Natalie and her staff just add to the enjoyment. They were attentive yet respectful of our privacy. We will be regulars!!!

We had a wonderful experience staying in the Goldfinch cabin. Just as so may others have said in their reviews, the cabin is spotless. It is very homey. Natalie has made excellent use of space. It provided our family with everything we needed. The patio was great and we sat out there a lot. Very conveniently located to the Appalachian Trail, Blue Heron Whitewater Rafting, and downtown Hot Springs. We enjoyed our stay very much.

It was a great cabin. nice beds and rooms. air conditioning was appreciated. If you are okay with cooking out and having a dorm sized refrigerator, this is the place for you. It didn't have a stove or over. cabin is shaded and large parking area that can fit at least 3 vehicles. It is attached to a second cabin, like a duplex. but neighbors were nice and quiet. walking distance down a hill to the small town. Right beside the AT.
