I’ve been coming to the Hot Springs area for years. This was the first time staying with this group. I have to say it was very nice getaway in a lovely cabin with great views from the hot tub. Jennifer was fast with responses and very accommodating. We will be back!! Thanks!!

This was a spectacular trip! We stayed in cabin #2 and the view is absolutely stunning. This was one of our favorite trips ever. The cabin comes fully equipped with dishes, silverware, towels for the hot tub and shower, and bedding. After a long day of hiking or hanging out in the river, we loved coming back and chilling in the hot tub. The only thing that I would recommend is a lounge chair on the deck. There is a table and chairs and we spent our nights eating on the deck, grilling our dinner. It was so peaceful and even though there are other cabins around, we didn’t hear anyone the entire week we stayed. The owner is quick to respond to any concerns you have (like more towels, etc). The cabin has a little bohemian vibe... we cannot wait to return again!! The locals in the town are awesome and everyone is friendly and waves to you. Oh and do not forget to bring your four-wheel drive- this is on a mountain, no joke.

My husband and I spent our 10 year anniversary at cabin #4. It could not have been more perfect in every way. It's an easy drive to town and the hot springs. The hot tub on the deck was wonderful along with the views. It was perfectly clean and was very comfortable. The mattress was also very comfortable- we slept like babies. Thank you!!!

Really beautiful area with nicely outfitted cabins. Gorgeous views off the balcony so you can chill out in the Hot Tub and relax while enjoying the scenery. Close to the town in case you need to make a quick run for supplies, but you can rough it if you choose to not pamper yourself. Appliances and a TV if you need them, but the mountains & town are better entertainment. Had a great time!

We rented the cabin to celebrate our birthdays together. We fell in love with the cabin! So cozy and clean. The back deck and hot tub were the perfect place to hand out and not have a care in the world. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

Nice secluded getaway. We stayed in cabin number 1. Very clean and it was nice to have the hotub on the deck. We didn't have a view of the mountains as the trees were quite tall and close to the cabin. We felt the price for value was a bit high once fees and taxes were added. Especially as we did not have the view we expected.There is a bit of a steep climb to the cabins on a narrow dirt road that some might not feel comfortable. AWD or low gear is recommended for the last bit of the route to the cabins.

We stayed in cabin #1 for our 25th wedding anniversary. It was a wonderful getaway! The one problem was the toilet was not working and overflowed on us. There was no way to call the owner as there was no cell service. The other thing we found to be interesting is the grill outside sits right up against the wood railing and there are trees right above it. The railing is burned and I was very afraid the trees would catch fire. Other than that... everything was great! It was a great getaway! The hot tub was amazing! We will definitely visit again! Thank you Larry and Angel.

I really can't say enough good things about the cabin we stayed in (4). Gorgeous view, peaceful, secluded. My husband and I booked it last minute and had a lot of trouble with it but the owner of the cabin jennifer was so super sweet and helpful and patient with us. We couldnt have asked for a better host. So many good trails, quaint little town with everything you need. Even the locals treated us like family. We had such a wonderful experience, we plan on coming back s few times a year. Thankfully we only live an hour half away!I highly recommend treehouse cabins and especially #4!We also went and got the ultimate couple spa treatment at hot springs spa and resort. It was heavenly!I could go on and on about how beautiful this town is and all its inhabitants. Hands down worth every penny.

This was our 15th Christmas at Treehouse Cabins. We love the quiet, restful and relaxing time spent in beautiful Hot Springs. Well, above beautiful HS!! Hot tub on the deck is wonderful after a day hike. The AT is just minutes away. The town of Hot Springs is minutes away. And, everything is just far enough away!! Each Cabin is a little different so be sure to pick the one that is right for you. ALL are clean, have decks, hot tubs, full bathrooms, comfortable beds and living areas. Oh, and kitchen areas too. The cabins are far enough away from each other to be secluded. We've been to every cabin. We have our favorite. We go at all times of the year too, not just at Christmas. The town of Hot Springs is habit forming...so you've been warned. Larry and Angel are gracious owners and a joy to work with.

Really enjoyed our stay in cabin #1. The cabin was very clean, well-appointed, comfortable bed and towels. The porch view was so lovely and peaceful! A very nice, quiet place to process all we experienced at the Wild Goose Festival! We would stay here again.

My wife and I were looking for something different for our 9th anniversary, so we decided to rent a cabin. We found Treehouse cabins and went for it based on price and pictures.Larry and Angel were very accommodating and easy to get in touch with when we had questions.The drive to Hot Springs is beautiful. When we arrived at cabin 4, we liked it immediately. It has a great view and was very clean. The cabin has one full-size bed with a futon, and a full kitchen and bathroom. And, we loved the jacuzzi on the back porch!Being in the mountains, understand that you may not have phone reception. We have Verizon, and, though we couldn't get on the internet, we were able to make phone calls.My wife was very pleased with this cabin and wanted to stay longer. And, we all know the saying "happy wife, happy life."

This is such a special find and a true mountain experience. The perfect balance of natural beauty and seclusion, with the convenience of location, and excellent professional management. Just minutes from the main street of Hot Springs and a variety magnificent hiking trailheads and water features, while only about 45 minutes to downtown Asheville, Treehouse Cabin guests can really maximize a visit, anytime of year. Every cabin is well maintained - inside and out. Cleanliness was top notch with thoughtful amenities provided, like sharp knives, a coffee filters, a coffee grinder and other kitchen essentials one would expect in a quality vacation rental, along with soft, white linens and plenty of towels. Quality mattresses and furnishings added to our comfortable stay. Overall, this was a wonderful property, I would highly recommend for anyone seeking a western North Carolina mountain cabin experience.

We stayed in cabin #3 which had a beautiful view from the porch. Everything was clean and ready to use but definitely minimal. Location was a close drive to downtown. The only negative was that there was a very noticeable cigarette smell in the place. None of the furniture smelled like smoke but it was in the air over the three days and we would notice it each time we came in. We are sensitive to smoke so perhaps it just stood out to us - no idea if it was the previous occupant or the cleaning person.

We spent out anniversary there and plan on returning to spend more time enjoying the area. Not only was Larry super nice and helpful, but to find that his brother runs the rafting company in town and is also great, shows the family integrity. This is clearly seen in the way they keep up with the cabins. They were so great to be in, we gave our family gift certificates to stay in the cabins, which they also enjoyed.

We stayed in #4. Amazing! Wonderful View! So beautiful and pristine and Hot Springs is not overrun with upper middle class posers in Columbia and North Face Gear. Yes, some of them come through town, but this is not a tourist trap. It's a slice of heaven. Book with confidence. Service by owners of Treehouse was outstanding. My wife doesn't want me to post this because we don't anyone to find out about this part of western NC, but I want to give the owners and the town props. We are teachers who live in SW FL. My wife is from NC. We came with our four-year-old and have had a wonderful trip. We are going to book our 10-year anniversary trip here for next year before we leave. I read the one negative review and I dismiss it out of hand. If you're that jaded and negative, go to Aspen. Maybe you'll be happy. But I doubt it.

Beautiful view, nice trails. Cabin was great, other than our hot tub breaking on the second day. My little Jetta was able to make it up the trail, but rainy weather or snow may make it impossible to get in and out.

What a delightful stay we had in Hot Springs, NC at Treehouse Cabins. The accessibility to the mountain town, Max Patch, and the Blue Ridge Parkway was perfect for our long weekend. The cabin was perfect and so unique. The owner has built these cabins with so much attention to the detail, including making the beds from trees on the property. The view was beyond words. Making reservations through the website and later changing them by calling Larry was so easy. We highly recommend a stay at the cabins. Arrived in evening and were able to cozy in right away watching sunset from the balcony. Followed by hot tub to the sounds of the forest under the stars. Very comfortable. Woke to view of mists over the mountains. We had a great time in the area and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location, gorgeous cabins with private hot tub on your porch overlooking the mountains. Very unique, private, clean, spacious, newly renovated. every place has their own kitchen (mini fridge, oven/stove, plates, utensils, pots and pans, all you need), bathroom with super soft linens, and firepit. we stayed in a single room cabin but they have more options where you could spend time exploring hot springs and asheville for a week or holiday with a larger group. The owner was so good to us, even offered to come meet us LATE at night if we got lost, which we didn't because his directions were easy. We got in very late at night and wished we had days to spend there but needed to hit the road pretty early. They made it a breeze for us to just leave our payment in the office. The price is comparable (or maybe less) to what you expect in that area but for adventure loving outdoors people you get so much more. Only possible drawback is that you have to drive a narrow, steep, dirt road to get there but we had no trouble in our little sedan, the drive just added to the sense of adventure. We love this place and hope to go back soon.

We loved our stay at the Treehouse Cabins - it was the perfect idyllic mountain retreat - so close to Hot Springs and an easy drive to Ashville. We had a fantastic experience with the Hot Springs Rafting Co. It was nice to meet Larry and our kids especially loved his dog, Bud. We look forward to our next visit to the Treehouse Cabins!

We rented Cabin 3 and it was soooo beautiful! Views for miles that my husband and I enjoyed from our deck and hot tub. Very comfortably furnished and CLEAN! We can’t wait to return in December!

My 4 children and I wanted to get away from palm trees and found exactly what we needed. We rented the largest cabin and it was great. We walked right outside the door onto a walking trail. Trees, mountains, clean air.....we will definitely be back! Larry and Angel are great people and there for anything you need. I highly recommend Treehouse Cabins!Donna

When we arrived at 9 in the evening, the cabin we were supposed to be staying in was occupied. We hung out in the car for awhile while the owners tried to figure out what was going on. After about 20mins of waiting, they told us we'd be staying in another cabin. While they were very responsive to the mix up and had a back up cabin to put us in, it wasn't the cabin we had requested or anticipated. The cabin seemed a bit dated, the blinds were covered in dust, there was mold on the cover of the hot tub, a dead roach on the coffee table, and there was NO Wifi (the cabin we were supposed to stay in had Wifi). It's a shame because the cabin definitely has potential it just hasn't seemed to have been kept up well. Some amount of a refund would have been a nice gesture given the mix up of cabins and not having all the amenities we were told we'd have.

The pros: Beautiful views, spacious, not a treehouse, but in the trees.The cons: No stove in some of the cabins, fire alarm kept going off in the middle of the night and early morning. There was no fire, I assume it was a low battery. The alarm was out of reach and couldn't be silenced. Hot tub seems very chlorinated, very different from hot springs water.Would stay again, but fire alarms should be lowered so they can be silenced.
