The location is nice. The tub was fine. The water was warm.. not hot. Maybe it's something to do with the minerals? I expected it to be hot and was disappointed. I've been to hot tubs in the California bay area which had much nicer, all wooden tubs, water so hot you needed to drink water while in the tub, towels, free drinking water in every tub space, and cost ONE THIRD of the price that Hot Springs is charging. It was fine. But it was not worth $90.

Came here for the spa and it ruined me for the rest of the day. I haven’t been so relaxed in years. Just soaking for an hour watching the water roll by and hearing the wind in the leaves - it was awesome. You pay for your soak, there is a bathroom for you to change into. You go to the attendant and he will show you to your hot tub, which has just been cleaned and is now hot and ready to go. Bring your own food and drink and just enjoy the healing waters of Hot Springs. The hot tub sits in a small enclosure, open to the river but closed on the other three sides and roofed. They will knock at 10 minutes before your time is up. They will then pull the plug at 5. It’s absolutely wonderful!

We only used the hot tubs at this resort. Changing rooms were located on site and the tubs are private, but the water is only warm. The name of the town was changed from Warm Springs to Hot Springs, but we didn't find that out until after we booked our hot tub experience. The sound of the nearby creek was nice but our view was obstructed by dilapidated wires/bridge that crossed the creek. The experience was okay, but not something we plan to come back for.Noteworthy details: No hotel stay is required to use the hot tubs. The resort offers hot tub rentals by the hour to the general public. The tubs are warm, but definitely hot. Our guess is that they are only slightly above normal body temp. The town of Hot Springs is located along the Appalachian Trail and has some very cool eateries and pubs. We really enjoyed the restaurants and bars.

I took my boyfriend on a trip here to enjoy their mineral baths. We opted for the “2 person 1 hour” in Tub3, and it was fabulous! The mineral bath tub had jets, was comfortably hot, and the fan provided a nice breeze. We loved the view, and we want to book again for late October (when fall is at its peak). We brought wine, but we had such a nice time we forgot to open it. An hour is far too short. We will definitely book for two hours next time!Additionally, I loved their customer service! When we arrived, there was an older couple who had been booked for the wrong day. The lady at the desk did her best to book them, so they wouldn’t have to return another day. I thought it was great customer service. That moment made me decide to post a review! We must uplift these businesses!

Incredible! For the price and the experience, it is definitely worth the trip. We booked for 90 minutes and were so disappointed and shocked when they told us our time was up. After every session, the water is drained, the tub is cleaned and refilled with the mineral water from the spring. You can bring your own food, snacks, and drinks. I suggest bringing them from a bigger town. Hot springs is very small. They do have a small grocery store that is worth going into. Just for treats you can't get other places. And the cool part is, Hot Springs is on the Appalachian Trail.

The spa and hot springs water is amazing and I love the feel of the small town. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was neat and clean but could use some closet space and or hooks to hang stuff up.The WiFi however sucks!!!They need to update it badly! Also, I would like to see them clean up the property ( mowing and trimming the brush and tres around the hot tub areas would make it feel more special) and do some landscaping and grading the driveway into the spa area. It needs a rejuvenation to make appear as good as the water treatment is! The little things mean a lot and make the whole experience worth it!!!Rooms: Was neat and clean but Wi-Fi is hit and miss. Needs updating!

This concept is so perfect, but the actual experience here is way below what it's made out to be on the website. I'm not saying to avoid this place; but I'm saying to just lower your expectations a lot if you go.Great: Scenery, location, surroundings, vibe once you get to your tub area.Good enough: changing area/bathrooms, some staff were ok, some don't belong in a job interacting with people.Bad: water temp is WAY too low! It's barely warm, not even close to being hot. The cool little outdoor firepit bowl stopped working after 4 minutes. Place getting a little run down, needs some sprucing up.This place has so much potential, it seems just like the place is on autopilot and doesn't realize the effort isn't going in to make this place special anymore. My friends might give this place 1 more chance, but I won't unless they have a great time if they ever go back.

Been here several times and always have a relaxing time. Nice for a quick and close by break. Love the Sandbar House because there's room for family and we can soak in the mineral water hot tub on the deck at any time of day and as long as we want. Plus, we can cook in the well equipped kitchen and accommodate various individual dietary needs.

Got the Luna Suite and not worth the stay. Had to crawl over tub to reach nozzles to fill. Charged twice for items in shop and did not catch it til entering into checkbook. Front desk lady was very polite. Not worth the money. Made a difficult birthday getaway for my wife.Noteworthy details: See listed comments.

With my sister, my nieces and a friend, I recently enjoyed time in one of their hot tubs. The location is beautiful, along a creek. There are cabins where we changed into swimsuits, then we were accompanied to our hot tub. There is a privacy wall and a bench to sit or set one’s bags. At first, the water is quite warm but one gets used to it quickly. The setting is near the creek with trees lining the area so one can enjoy bathing in a natural environment. People are allowed to bring snacks and beverages. Our rental was by the hour. One hour is plenty! I recommend taking breaks from the water as afterwords, one can feel nauseous due to overheating. It’s a special experience! We did not experience the hotel.

Just look at the name of this place. Say it out loud. Yeahhhh... that's how you're going to feel the whole time you're there. We spoiled ourselves and splurged on a Suite, but you can just tell the whole establishment is going to be just as awesome and relaxing. Private hot tub filled with the therapeutic goodness from the hot springs...whenever you want...as hot as you want. The sound of the French Broad river heard as you're relaxing in that hot tub. Ohhh Yeahhhh! Great people running the place. Every aspect of the entire facility is well maintained and clean, clean, clean. We did not feel like we were in a 'hotel' but just comfortably 'at home' while we were there. The local shops and food are GREAT! Make sure you stop by the Smoky Mountain Diner for at least one meal. Odds are you'll go back for at least one or two more. Pretty safe bet we'll be going back!

Great experience completing just the hot springs portion. We visited in the fall around 6:30 I believe as so it was still sun out but after our time there is was dark so we had the golden hour in our time there and it was very romantic, intimate, and relaxing. We got the tub right where both water sources converge so it was a beautiful view. Very happy with the experience, adult beverages and food allowed as long as you clean up after yourselfFood & drinks: Food and drink allowedNoteworthy details: The hot spring baths are absolutely worth doing

I planned a special valentine's weekend get-away with my wife at this resort well in advance. Sadly my wife and I contracted covid and had to quarantine. I called to cancel and get a refund a full 5 days before our trip and was told that for no reason do they ever give a refund. Not even for things outside your control, such as catching covid. The only thing they were willing to offer was to move the trip to another date. I don't know when we'll be feeling up for a road trip, and Valentine's Day will be long over by then. Quite an unreasonable policy. Guess I paid for a very expensive illness on top of my wife's disappointment.

My family and I came out from Florida. We love the farm, the cabins were cute with plenty of room for three people. Holden was very nice and helpful, we even met the real Franny at the love farm while sitting around a fire. We will definitely be returning!Walkability: There's plenty to see on the farm and you can hike the whole farm meeting the animals and their caretakers.

This was our 3rd time visiting the hot tub spa. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Beautiful views of the river while soaking in the tub. However, we were underwhelmed with the tubs. They are starting to show their age. Jets not working well (I know, the sign clearly says jets may not work). Water warm, but not hot. And if it is the least bit cold and windy, there is no way to block the wind or shelter. (We have been to other outdoor spas that have winterized pavilions with plexiglass or a curtain to block the wind.) The gas fire pit provides some heat, but if it's windy, you have to stand right over top to feel it. We booked over the valentine's day week (2/12) and they called us a few days in advance offering a dozen of roses and box of chocolates for $50. The roses were nice, but i would have much preferred a small box of local artisian chocolate instead of the Russell Stover heart boxed chocolate. This went right in the garbage can. The friendly staff is all we were impressed with. We chose the premium mineral bath, before 6:00 p.m., for 90 minutes = $120.

We had a great experience at the campground and in a deluxe tub! The campground was clean and D7 was right on the river and pretty flat. It may help to bring a water hose as there's a lot of pressure when you turn on the water at the site. I got quite the soak when I first turned it on. Lol! Tub 15 was amazing and loved the heater on a chilly fall morning!Walkability: The cute town of Hot Springs is a short walk outside the campground where you can find restaurants, coffee, supplies, even live music and a brewery!
