My first ever visit to a Dollar General. Yes I lived for 61 years before walking through the doors of a Dollar General. Staff was friendly. We found what we were looking for. Aisles were clean. I was impressed. Nice place

The store was recently renovated & currently being restocked. Not too much to choose from, but they are getting there. Staff was courteous.If you are a hiker looking for non-freeze dried meals for resupply, they have a decent selection (probably more options once the store is fully stocked). It is worth checking here before hitting the outfitter down the street.

Dollar General is a blend of namebrand merchandise that is budget minded. You won't find everything on your list, nor should you want to...but they have enough stock in enough categories to put your hands on things...delaying that dreaded 42 mile trip into Asheville.I grabbed some Hellman's Mayo and a super cute rug to use as a bath mat ... for only 6 bucks. Not clean. Not organized. And I'm not caring about that when proximity and ease are primary goals.

Store hours are not as published. Sign says open till 10PM but it is closed now at 8:40PM. I would suggest calling before going here.

Honestly where do I begin? This place needs to be shut down the “ store manager “ needs fired came in they don’t have anything the place smells like a brewery wouldn’t surprise me a bit if they were drinking on the job. This place is a joke!!

Never anything grocery wise in store other than canned foods or boxed foods. Hardly ever milk, bread or simple things like eggs. Might as well never go. Need to revamp store completely or get a bigger store. Always having to walk through customers to just get in, stocking carts always in the way. Just in general not a good running store. Staff are wonderful however.

Not sure why this is called a dollar store when there are items that go for more than a dollar, but generally it's true. The place is clean and offers a decent variety. The service was good. Parking wasn't an issue. The aisles were a bit crowded.

Stopped on my way into mars hill, nc... Bathrooms disgusting! Doors wouldn't lock. No soap or towels. No toilet paper. Urine stained floors. Holes in the walls and door. Just deplorable. Not sure why this isn't a health code violation. My advice: clean it up ASAP! No excuse for this.Aside from the bathroom, the store smells, its cluttered and shelves are quite messy.Friendly staff. Parking lot is an after thought.Sorry. I normally give excellent reviews but this was terrible. 👎👎😱

Selection was good service was lacking cashier n team lead was playing with their phones and I wasn't greeted upon entering the store n was seen trying to find where an item was located n the employees never asked if I needed help n usually when Shaun is working it's always a pleasure to do business with the store. Wished all the employees could have his attitude

Love these stores! Was on the road and needed a few things so we're loved for the closest Dollar General. Always a great stop for your quick shopping needs. Quick in and out and we were back on the road!

Worst store I've been to in my life. My wife has a medical condition and a card prove it. Would not let her use the bathroom. I intend on contacting corporate to report this.

I always get my paper goods and dish washing clothes washing soap here love it it's quick in quick out I don't have to walk up and down 14 miles like at the grocery store and it's much more affordable.

Has just about everytjing. My only complaint is the stock is always in the iles needing to be put out. I feel they don't have enough employees hired or on the clock to get it put out to keep iles cleaned and easy to shop.

This store was very helpful and honest. The employees knew the store merchandise. Seem to need more help in stocking the shelves but they help me in any way I needed.

This location is very convenient for me to get to quickly from home. They have a very friendly and helpful staff. Well stocked inventory. Easy access from traffic. Easy to see from traffic.

Found what I was looking for but unhappy with all the folks without masks. Sign on door said masks required??? Governor mandated?? Selfish people. Not the stores fault but the clerk obviously knew the unmasked people and never said a word.

Cheap resupply along the appalachian trail. There is an estranged mood while hikers are in town. Bathroom is in the back, past the employee only signs, on the left.
