I'd give 6 stars for the location alone - so peaceful and beautiful! Tom and Rebecca are such gracious hosts, stopping by a few times during our week long stay to make sure everything was OK and to see if we needed anything. It was great being able to hike to different places right on the property - the waterfall, then further up to the grotto a little before the fields and even over to the Cretan style labyrinth (see photo). We came here Sunday afternoon and the first time we left the property was Saturday morning to try to get fresh cinnamon rolls at the diner in town.

This place was amazing! We had a situation where we had to take our dog on our annual anniversary vacation this year and this place did not disappoint! Its a family owned and operated vacation place which is exactly what we were looking for! Even if you don't have a dog, the place is clean and well maintained and you'd never know a dog was ever in there! Not only that but they supply everything but the food! I was freaking out because I forgot my shampoo and conditioner but not to worry because it was supplied! I want to thank Tom and Rebecca for a memorable, relaxing vacation!Rooms: They were clean and well maintained

My husband and I absolutely loved our time at the Moondance cabin. The location was secluded and beautiful. The stream running near the cabin provided the most beautiful and soothing sound! We really enjoyed sitting on the porch, just watching the water flow. We also loved the hot tub for relaxing after our hikes. There are so many great places to explore nearby and Rebecca and Tom’s recommendations and directions allowed us to visit spots that we wouldn’t have known about otherwise. Even if you never leave their property, there is no shortage of things to do! We especially loved hiking to the huge waterfall, just about a 1/2 mile from the cabin. This place is a little slice of heaven! We are already talking about going back!

AMAZING! Can't say enough about this amazing gem. Tom and Rebecca are great hosts and the property is magical. The Cabins are spacious, modern and very clean. There is everything you need and then some! The property has amazing features, there is skates a fresh pile of firewood for your own fire by your cabin, a cozy hot tub and views for days! Great location, near good hiking as well!

I have been there twice now!The first time was a couples stay and was very romantic! We loved the hot tub on the porch for just the two of us. It was also nice to settle in after grilling a nice meal and watch a movie in the cabin, as I was surprised to find that all the premium channels were available.The second time, I took my kids and we enjoyed the larger cabin! There was plenty to do in this the beautiful settings! We explored at the pond and hiked all over the place. I even took my kids to see the Mermaid lodge which was a charming and magical experience for them!Although both trips were for different experiences, they had several things in common including the beautiful setting, hot tubs at each cabin, fresh clean accommodations and great owners who were available for any needs.I look forward to my next adventure at Dancing Sun Cabins!

The cabin was super cozy, the hot tub was really relaxing, the waterfall was full of excitement and overflowing from the recent rain. The property is beautiful. Sacredly special with the freshest water I think I've ever tasted. Words cannot describe the view at Max Patch. You just have to go there and see it for yourself.

If you are looking for a quite place to rekindle that fire in your relationship, this is the place to go. My husband and I spent 4 days here enjoying nature, hiking trails, and the amenities of our cabin. We stayed in the moon dance cabin that has the creek running through the front yard. We slept with the windows open to hear the running water and all of natures elements. Best sleep I've had in years! The generosity of the owners was outstanding. We look forward to visiting again!

Was a shared birthday celebration with my beloved. Cabin was beside a talkative creek and had a lovely covered porch with hot tub. There were many lovely touches around the land that made the experience so cherished: the heart rock balanced on the boulder beside the cabin; the experience of coming up the trail and encountering the labyrinth tucked in the woods; Dandy, Rebecca and Tom's dog, dashing towards us in exuberant greeting; walking up to the waterfall and encountering numerous delights along the trail... Needless to say, we'll be back since it's close to our home, but still feels far away. Suggestions include a firmer mattress and better shower curtain to keep water from spilling out! Other than that, the cabin is clean, efficient, warm and cozy. We can't wait to come back in summer to open up all the windows and hear the night sounds!

This is my go-to for a quiet, unplugged, simple living escape. (If you are addicted to your electronics and HAVE to be constantly connected to the outside world, this is not the place for you.) It is so serene and BEAUTIFUL--and the hosts are amazing. Everything you need to know is in a binder in your cabin. You never have to interact with another human being if you don't want to.On the property, there is hiking and there are waterfalls and a creek and fresh air abounds. There are also excursion options in the area, like horseback riding, water activities, etc. If your heart can take the mountain roads, the trip is worth it. TIP: Stop at INGLES and get all your groceries/supplies before heading up the mountain. There are no "quick" supply run options once you get there.

Amazing getaway! Exceeded our expectations. Wifi available. Washer and drier in cabin. Bed was very comfortable and hot tub was relaxing. Hike to the waterfall was challenging but so worth it. Loved it! If you are seeking a serene getaway, this is the place for you!! Absolutely peaceful and relaxing. A true hidden gem in the mountains of Hot Springs, North Carolina.

Beautiful small cabin. Great for couples. Private with great views and sounds on the nearby springs. Highly recommend visiting if you want to recharge your relationship or spark a new journey of true commitment with your lover. Suggestions if you are going : bring everything you want to eat and play with as the closest store dollar general is 30mins away. Cook/grill your own food and enjoy the hot tube and fire pit daily. Great trails to warm up with and enjoy great views. I am definitely going again Special thanks to Tom and Rebecca for sharing this amazing place with the world.

Back for our third year. We love retreating here each July. It's a good ways out from the tiny town of Hot Springs so if you're looking for peace and solitude at a clean and comfy cabin this is it.

We had a great stay at Dancing Sun Cabins and would highly recommend. Very peaceful and relaxing clean cabins. Has all basic essentials you need. Would recommend bringing your meals and cooking at the cabin, since it is a trek to get into town. Beautiful property

This place is wonderful! Sweet cabins with hot tubs tucked away in the woods. The hosts are super nice most accommodating. There is a hike to a beautiful waterfall also.
