My wife and I stayed 3 nights at The Pine Cabin on Broadwing Farm. This was our 3rd trip to Hot Springs but our first at Broadwing. This has been our favorite location so far. We love the proximity to town and how secluded the cabin is.We loved the history of the cabin and the size of it. The view is one of the best we have had. Please be aware the main bed is up the spiral staircase. The bathroom is downstairs. Late night potty breaks can be interesting. lol. The jacuzzi is ready to be replaced but after hiking all day a warm tub is good even if the jets aren’t all working or able to be turned up.We will try to stay here again in the future we liked it so much. Even with the jacuzzi not really working great. The stairs really weren’t a deal breaker but it could be for a lot of people.

Our family stayed in the Pine. I only wish we had stayed longer...I could definitely live like that forever! The hot tub gave me back pain relief I haven't had in sooo long as a Nurse, my boy LOVED the hot tub and my partner and I rekindled many of the reasons we love eachother! Felt private, had all the amenities anyone could ask for. Right in the town, great hikes nearby, we will DEFINITELY be back! Thanks Pete! Your love and effort you have put into these places are so apparent and appreciated!

Oh, how we love the Cedar cabin!! We have been here at least 5 times. If you stay here in the spring, summer, or early fall when the chickens are laying, Pete & Mary will leave you fresh eggs. They have sweet dogs that will come to visit occasionally, and you are welcome to walk their grounds and enjoy their beautiful land. Several years ago, Mary told me I could go pick a tomato from their greenhouse to enjoy!Getting away with my husband and coming here every year is something I always look forward to. ❤ I cannot recommend their cabins enough!

Our small family of 4 spent 3 amazing nights at the Pine cabin. The view from the deck was so beautiful, very quiet and peaceful place to be for recharging your energy. The cabin is spotless clean, and has everything you need. Our favorite part of the stay was the private hot tub outside, right next to the cabin. Morning dip with birds singing, evening dip with millions of stars and crickets chirping. The location is very convenient. Super close from the town.It was just perfect. Cannot wait to go back!

Very beautiful quite peaceful place to relax and soak in mineral water hot tub. They had plenty of flowers and even a nice pond right in front of the cedar cabin,so don't forget rod and reels. Need to stop in town 25 mile before you arrive to get groceries, very limited places to eat within 20 miles. But over all it was great!!! Owners were very polite and never bothered us . 5 stars comes easily!!!!

A beautiful place to rest and recharge! It felt like we’d arrived home from the moment we pulled into the driveway. Broadwing Farms is the perfect place to go for a quiet getaway, yet close to town for convenience of shopping and dinners out. The cabin was stocked with anything we needed for cooking. The grounds are well maintained. We enjoyed long evening walks watching the sun set over the mountains. It’s very apparent many long hours and years have been invested into the dream, the build and the care of their farm! Abundant gratitude for allowing us to stay at your home!

We stayed here two nights on a valentine trip and had a great time. Very relaxing and comfortable. Especially enjoyed the really large hot tub and the fresh eggs. We had a really beautiful hike one day on the AT. We climbed the mountain that overlooks the river and the town and the views were worth the climb. It wasn't very strenuous due to the expertly crafted trail and all of the switchbacks. The owners were very helpful and informative.

This place was a dream. Was here for just 2 nights with my significant other, a weekend getaway, and this haven holds a special place in my heart! Very comfortable cabin with a full kitchen, where you can make all your meals if you choose. Sweet little town just a few miles away, between the mountains. The hot tub was bliss in the winter month and we spent so much time out there! (very clean tub and amazing mineral water) Morning tea with a book, and afternoon beers and some classic rock. The surrounding trees and the pups on the farm are wonderful. A beautiful place, havent stopped thinking about it since! Can't wait to go back! Thanks Pete and Broadwing farm for hosting us.

Pine cabin at Broadwing Farms was the perfect weekend getaway! Clean and cozy, it served as a magical nook in which to return and hide away after some great days hiking and exploring. Mary and Pete are exceptional hosts, and of course the mineral hot tubs are divine! The farm is beautiful and the blueberries are delicious. We'll definitely be back!

Wow what a wonderful retreat! We stayed 3 nights in the cute and cozy Pine Cabin overlooking the pond. The location is just a 2 minute drive from downtown Hot Springs and situated on a beautiful farm that has several hiking trails around. We were very happy to have fresh mineral spring water in the hot tub to soak in every night and fresh eggs in the fridge when we arrived. Pete was very helpful with directions and suggestions. I can't say enough good things about our stay and we can't wait to get back when the weather is warmer.! :)

We had a wonderfully relaxing visit to Broadwing Farm! The trip was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The cabin was clean and more spacious than expected, and kitchen was well-stocked for cooking. The views were absolutely breathtaking. The owners of the farm were very helpful and made us feel right at home (and even left fresh eggs for breakfast!). They gave us as much space and privacy as possible, and we actually only saw them on the final day of our stay. The surrounding area is peaceful and has wonderful hiking and picturesque views at each turn. I highly recommend Broadwing Farm and will definitely return as frequently as possible!

My boyfriend and I stayed two nights in the secluded Cedar Cabin at Broadwing Farms. We picked a couple vegetables, cooked dinner/breakfast, watched the AMAZING sunsets over the mountains on top of the hill. It was unbelievably peaceful. The cabin was very clean and had the perfect balance between rustic and modern. The AC and WiFi worked perfectly. We also slept outside on the screened in patio on the futon because the weather was perfect and the sounds of nature are a wonderful way to drift you to sleep. Also, the jacuzzi rocks. I felt like I was in heaven the whole time, and I was only 45 minutes from home. And so happy to find a coffee pot with filters provided!!FYI: The closest place for supplies might be the local dollar general in the quaint town of Hot Springs.

My family and I (five of us!) stayed at the Broadwing Farms Poplar cabin for three nights one beautiful week in September. I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing Hot Springs vacation - a bit outside the Hot Springs town / resort environment but close enough to get there quickly. The hot tub was large and private - pre-filled and heated to a nice temperature to make soaking in the mineral springs water at any point in the day just a moment away. If you're like me, you will be using that tub morning and night! I spent one entire morning just sitting on the deck reading and looking out at the farm's lake and the mountains just beyond the valley. So beautiful. And if it was too sunny on the front deck, we just went to the back patio where there was a nice table and a propane grill and felt like you were in the woods! It was very cozy for five people, which worked out just fine for us.

We really enjoyed our overnight at Broadwing Farms Cabins. We were able to stay just one night last minute; Mary let us stay one night and we are so glad we did! The cabins are so homey and comfortable. All the furnishings are useful and we had everything we needed. We were able to go straight to our cabin without a check-in; what a luxury! The tub had adjustable heat and jets. We had a massage at Hot Springs Resort. The air conditioning worked great and we LOVED the screened in porch. We'll be back!

We rented their Poplar cabin for three days in July 2017. The cabin is fantastic, comfortable, and very well stocked. The view of the farm andmountains are amazing, and the whole experience felt comfortable and welcoming. The farm is vey quiet and peaceful. The hosts are amazingly gracious. They invited us to pick blueberries, and stocked us full with fresh vegatables from their garden. I highly recommend this place if you traveling to the Hot Springs area!

Having a wonderfully romantic weekend in Poplar cabin at Broadwing Farms in Hot Springs, NC. Truly, this is the most wonderful spot for enjoying a peaceful and relaxing weekend. Pete and Mary have thought of everything; everything is clean, warm and cozy. Just bring some food with you, all the cooking supplies are provided, and you won't HAVE to leave all weekend! The views of the mountains and the nearby farm pond are especially nice. We loved the hot tub in the snow. This was a perfect weekend! Thank you.

Talk about a slice of Heaven! We had our Mini HoneyMoon out there in the Poplar Cabin, it was a short notice reservation, and they were very accommodating and set us up.Such sweet little cabins, well thought out design. To walk in and have a generous bundle of fresh vegetables awaiting us on the counter was a great surprise also.I understand the name broadwing, as we heard some Great horned owls having a conversation at night. In short, it was more then perfect. We will certainly be back, and recommend this to anyone looking for a mountain viewed, great hot tub, privacy, amidst a great little farm of an oasis.

Second time we've come here, once in the fall and this time in the summer. There's so many wonderful things to say and not enough room or time to share them all. Here's a short list of the pros:1. So, so friendly! The owners treat you as though you're their own family. They are more than happy to talk to you and their pets are too! They shared their produce with us in the fall and now eggs this summer.2. Scenery is breathtaking no matter the season. The air is fresh. The water is pristine. The flowers and trees are full and gorgeous. Absolutely stunning. If you're a nature lover this place is for you.3. Cabins are cute and cozy. WiFi and air conditioning, or heat. Basic amenities are included, but you still feel a bit off the grid.4. The hot spring hot tub. Enough said.5. Close to town, but not too close. The drive to town is just a few minutes away and the town itself is welcoming and fun. Several places to buy souvenirs or goodies. A gas station, dollar store, and town grocery store are there too. Places to eat bfast, lunch, and dinner are great as well.6. Trails nearby. The Appalachian trail runs right through the town, so not only can you talk with thru hikers but you can walk some of it yourself. There's other small trails that differ in difficulty that give you a great view of the French Broad River and the mountains.7. Inexpensive stay. If you're looking to have a comfortable stay out in the mountains without breaking your wallet this is it. It offers more seclusion and privacy, but you don't feel completely alone if you choose not to.Overall, my favorite place to stay and a place I very much look forward to coming to every couple of years. I don't have a single thing to complain about and would recommend it to anyone, whether you're by yourself, a married couple, a group of friends, or a family.

Comfortable, clean cabins each with a hot tub (with on-site mineral water,) close to town and hiking, river running, and the rest of the great outdoors. Friendly, helpful, on-site hosts. Second visit of many.
