Derek went out of his way to accommodate us last minute while I was at work and my husband with a broke ankle. My dogs personality reflects entirely how good she feels when she's finished. We’ve been taking our dog to the Refined Pup for more than five years now, and have always had a positive experience! Derek and his team are extremely professional and great at communicating, and we’ve always been pleased with our dogs haircut. Something I especially appreciate about them is their consistency. Our dog always gets the same haircut every time, we’ve never had any “unpleasant surprises” the way you hear about with other groomers. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend The Refined Pup. I had a wonderful experience today. Monica, the groomer, was so good to my three dogs and Derek was great about everything. One of my dogs had what I will call the fear-poop and pooped thrice. They were so accommodating and let me go in the back with her for the nail trimming. He also called me to come get her as soon as they were done with her so she didn't have to sit in the crate after because she was so nervous. I really appreciated that and I'm sure my pup did too.Overall, great first experience. I will definitely be taking my pups there again!

They listened and understood my concerns due to my little guy having collapsing trachea. I was so pleased on how they handled him, and his haircut. They gained a forever customer that first visit. I have been taking my dog to get groomed at The Refined Pup for a year or so now. The groomers are great and do a fantastic job! My issue is not with the groomers, but with the owner Derrick! He has a smart comment about everything. He is overbearing and it shows on his staff when they interact with customers. I hate going in there just because I have to face him. For this reason unfortunately I am going to be going to a new groomer since I feel so uncomfortable around this man.

We recently moved to North Carolina and have 2 Goldendoodles. Anyone knows they aren't the easiest dogs to groom with regard to their coats. I had called several places and either no call back or they weren't taking any new pets. I was finally referred by another groomer to contact Tiffany's V.I. Pets. The experience was wonderful from the initial appointment call to the grooming. They are very nice, the shop is clean and they truly care about your pet. This was the first time Bella had been groomed since she is still a puppy and they did an awesome job. Thank you ! We will be back :)

We tried to "groom" our mini Golden doodle ourselves. It was steadily heading towards a Bob Marley dread head. They gave him an awesome "summer cut". They were very professional. His tail was both magnificent and dreaded. They cut it off as we expected. They showed great concern as to not offend us. They even saved his tail hair and offered it to us. Anyways im done rambling. I highly recommend this groomer. They seemed to genuinely care about my dog. Their facility is very nice and clean. The best aspect of their facility is the feature that provides safety for the dogs. There is a door that separates the grooming from the entrance, so if a pooch is on the run they can't get out of the main door.This is the first time a groomer listened to how I wanted my dog cut and then actually did it! They are talented groomers that care about dogs. If your dog tends to get stressed at the groomer, you will notice a huge change when you pick them up. My dog was so much calmer and was not stressed at all.

Gave them four tries with my parent's sheltie as they came recommended from my vet even though they are a couple of towns over. Very nice people just couldn't get the message on what we wanted done - bath, nails, minimal trimming on paws only. This means a great deal to my elderly parents. All this makes them just okay and not worth the drive for us.

Called this morning as once again our now previous groomer was not in during regular scheduled hours. V.I.Pets was very kind and courteous and stated there may be a little wait but they'd be happy to work our beagle in. We'd been on vacation for a week and he was in desperate need of a bath and trim. They did an EXCELLENT job! Rebel came home looking and smelling wonderful and the price was perfect! The staff was above board and took great care of our aging pup. I highly recommend V.I.PETS to anyone looking for a groomer!

I wouldn’t recommend any de-sheddingg treatments. At least with the individual groomer that I had. If you’re just looking for a bath-haircut-blow dry, they’ve got ya covered. One of the pricier places in town, and you always get what you pay for, right? Well, I was a bit disappointed after picking my gal up from a “De-Shedding “ treatment & getting her outside of the shop-giving her a good pat down:( she was silky soft and smelling like one clean pup, plus they put these adorable holiday bandanas on which are super cute. Unfortunately as my hand went down her head , back, and bottom-it was still picking up/brushing off a bunch of loose hair that they didn’t get. I came here because I saw what a great job another groomer there did with my moms dog daisy (who is the same type of excess shedder)which was a MUCH better job (as far as actually de-shedding) on Daisy then our groomer did on ZOZO. I guess I was just expecting the same results as I had seen done, regardless of groomer within shop, not to mention what I was told on the phone by the owner. These are realistic expectations. Zozo was still shedding, ( from the second we walked out the door) her nails were untrimmed, her facial hair was falling out like they didn’t cover this area (tiny hairs everywhere!) and her ears weren’t touched/cleaned/etc. So I’m pretty sure I just paid for an incredibly high priced bath and blow dry for ZO.On a brighter note: the staff is incredibly friendly, dog trustworthy, and very welcoming. They knocked that one out of the ballpark:) I’ve heard nothing but good things about the groomers, Ashley and Addie.If I we’re to give this place another try I would only see those 2, but I think this experience has disappointed me enough, that it isn’t worth it to try again.Unfortunately, I did not get what I paid for. We Won’t be going back:(

Well, i have always had 5 star experience with the business. She has a very clean shop and has always been very nice to me and my dog. She cuts my dogs hair perfectly, everytime... could not ask for better!!! With that being said, i have been calling to set an appointment for weeks now and can not get a return call and it seems her shop is never open anymore. Actually im worried something is wrong. Never been this way before and i would not be writing all of this except i have no other way to let her know she is wanted so very badly😦!! I hope all is well, we miss you and so does our dog. I hope maybe its just a long vacation or something....
