I love this place…I came as a walk-in with my sick puppy. Everyone was so polite and friendly, as well as professional. We got attended quickly, they also let you know everything that’s going on as it happens. Although I had to make a hard decision and let my puppy rest, their team makes sure to comfort and try to make things less traumatic. Overall, although the circumstances were tough, I left with closure knowing they did what they could and my pup is no longer in pain.

I took my dog who has severe allergies here after his previous vet was booked for 2 months and couldnt 'fit him into' the schedule. I called Cypress and they helped right away through one of their walk in appts. My dog got his meds and is back to looking his amazing self again! Taking my other dog for his semi-annual check up soon. This is our new forever vet!

If you’re looking for or need a veterinarian, I highly recommend Dr. Nathan Riddell and his staff at Cypress Lake Animal Hospital. I have been a client at Cypress Lakes since Dr. Riddell took over the practice and it has been a wonderful experience over the years, and I can confidently say that their commitment to providing exceptional care for my dogs has never wavered. They have always demonstrated a genuine passion for the well-being of my dogs. He is very smart and has a forward-thinking approach to veterinary medicine and equipment that can elevate the level of care for animals.During a recent visit, I was amazed to learn that he had invested in Laparoscopic Surgery equipment to be able to provide pets with the most minimally invasive surgery possible. Reducing the surgical trauma and helping your pet have a speedier recovery. They have great walk-in hours or appointments if you prefer, I’ve done both and am super pleased with their efficiency. The range of services my dogs have had goes from preventive care, dental cleanings, surgeries, and grooming. I’m grateful to have such a compassionate, dedicated, and forward-thinking veterinary team caring for my dogs. Hope this helps someone out there.

1st. I left an honest review of this clinic based on their long wait times(took 3 hours) for a 30 minute vaccination appointment. I’ve also waited an excess of hours for other appointments.2nd. After leaving my honest review about wait times, the clinic cancelled my request for my pet to receive her booster vaccines and also will not allow me to schedule any future appointments or see my animal. I have never heard of a business denying service to a customer because of wait time complaints. This is very unprofessional and petty of a business. It seems as this review is the only actual real one and all their “5” star reviews are farmed as I have never had a decent experience here. Staff is nice, but wouldn’t waste my time if you’re considering this place.

Months ago my daughter brought her rescue kitty here and they took great care of him. I then decided to take my cat here for a wellness check. The front staff Bethany and Kaitlin were helpful and helped transfer my kitty’s vet paperwork. The vet tech Camala was friendly and was caring when checking him in. Dr Ridell seems caring and treated my Kitty for his issues and gave me treatment options. This place cares about your pets!!! Update today I took my other kitty and Dr. Oxendine and Jada took great care of him. Very fast checkout at the front desk!!!

They must’ve deleted my post….Took my dog here for the past year and for the simple things, they were great. Shots, vaccinations, yes. I brought my 1 year old puppy in for concerns of his gums bleeding and a knot that was on my dogs head. They gave Rudy X-rays and The Dr. said that Rudy had been suffering from trauma front a blunt object or car and even went to say Rudy had a broken jaw. I knew it was absolutely impossible that he could've gotten hit by a car or object because you ABSOLUTELY cannot get into my backyard or get out. Not to mention we live off a highway. Not to mention the knot and "broken jaw" were on opposite sides. What kind of vehicle does this?? His response was "you'll be surprised how smart dogs are, they know your routine." They put Rudy on Cipro (antibiotic) and Carpofen as an inflammatory. The "broken jaw" miraculously healed in about a week. Obviously you can't heal a broken jaw with an antibiotic...right....The knot never healed which had become a concern. Cypress Lakes referred us to Riverbark (amazing place) to get a CT scan done due to them not having the equipment in their facility. Call on Friday for them to e-mail the records to Riverbark, argue with the receptionist on their policy and the other Vets policy on sending records to get the CT scan done. Which common sense everyone knows, you would need to send records and a doctor referral to ensure Rudy receives the proper CT scan. Monday gave them a grace day. Tuesday, still no records e-mailed..... I call and the lady tells me "I know Rudy is sick, but we have other fur babies who are sick also". By the end of the day Riverbark calls me to set up the CT scan. Take Rudy to Riverbark. Rudy has cancer. That has spread thru his body. We are absolutely devastated. You need immunizations or a good bath. I recommend. But I do not recommend if your dog is sick.

The people at Cypress Lakes Animal Hospital are amazing! They’ve always taken great care of my dog Toby. A couple of weeks ago I had to have my best friend Toby put to sleep because he was at the end of life. The people at Cypress Lakes made this extremely difficult time as comfortable as possible. These amazing people saved my cat after her jaw was broken by a hawk. Picked up in the air and she clawed her way from death. Rushed her as soon as I could. Two days later, I'm taking my baby home with a plan and medicine for recovery. I am so grateful.

I went there once and it seems cool. My first experience was positive, and I plan to go back. I remembered to bring a treat for my cat, and everyone was happy to give her some to make friends with her. They have policies in place to help people if they feel overwhelmed by dogs barking in the waiting room. The place was immaculately clean. Parking was kinda weird, but I might have approached from the wrong side.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Clean environment. You are seen on time. Reasonable prices for services. In the last year I had two separate emergencies issues. They were able to get my pets in immediately. Can not recommend them highly enough.

I recently took my elderly cat to Cypress Lake Animal Hospital and was highly impressed with the care they provided. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure not to overcharge me or suggest any unnecessary treatments or tests. I felt that they truly cared about my pet's well-being rather than just trying to make a profit. I would highly recommend Cypress Lake Animal Hospital for their quality of service and genuine concern for animals' health. Dr. Ridell and his staff are AMAZING!!!!!!

I called needing help due to my dogs ear was all swollen and he was holding his head to one side. Each time my dog had an issue my old vet never could see him. Cypress Lakes Animal hospital took him right in within the hour. The vet assistance who came back in room and checked him in, sat on the love loved on him and I could see made him more at ease, and told me I was at the right place. I would diffidently recommend to anyone.

I visited this animal hospital as a walk-in. My cat was not eating or going to the bathroom. They fit me in quickly during their morning walk-in hours. The vet tech and doctor gave me all the time I needed to understand the tests to be performed. They were very loving with my pet in talking to her and bringing her a blanket to keep her warm and cozy. I would highly recommend this veterinarian office.

My precious baby passed away yesterday around closing time. The employees were so sweet in that they stayed a little late so my husband and kids could come say goodbye to our very loved baby. Such a small gesture made a huge impact on us. For that, I will be eternally grateful for the staff that stayed late for our family to say our goodbyes.

Dr Riddell and Dr Wheeler are both excellent. They are very caring and have taken care of our pets for a while now. The staff is very friendly. You can make an appointment but they have a lot of time scheduled for walk-ins which I really appreciate. I also like their policy of free nail clipping if your pet is up to date on vaccination because my dog won't let me clip her nails.

They treated my baby well and called me with updates throughout the days she was away from home for treatment while also calning my nerves and taking suggestions on how to get her to eat when she wouldn't. They worked within my budget and explained things well. I'd go back and adopt them as my regular veterinarian. They were the only ones available in the area to take us for our emergency which is definitely a bonus. I appreciate this place and this staff tremendously!

Michelle and Doctor Golf were both amazing. Michelle went out of her way to help make sure that all of our needs were met in order to give the best care for our 9 month old dog. After a short stay Doctor Golf and Michelle went above and beyond to refer us to a more fitting emergency 24 hour care facility that met our dogs needs. We just relocated to NC and I'm so happy we found a new vet for my fur baby. Cypress Lakes took very care of her and she was able to get all her updated vaccinations at a reasonable price. Everyone there were extremely nice and welcoming..☺️☺️
