Very well maintained and welcoming store. Owned by customers and employees Weaver Street Market is part of the community not just profiting from the community. I love the cheese and wine sections. A plethora of choices and knowledgeable employees. Everyone is friendly, there is seating so you can hang out, and they have special events. You can grocery shop anywhere but for specialty items, community engagement, and fresh local produce Weaver Street Market is the place to be. Looking forward to visiting their other locations!

Love this store! Stacy in wellness is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Great selection of fresh food on the bar, both hot and cold, and fresh packaged food to grab a quick lunch.

Bottom floor of the Gateway Center. The actual parking lot associated with Weaver St is at best, a stressful event; however, the public parking deck and one trailhead for the Riverwalk is located right behind Weaver St. There is a little patio (partly covered) where you can eat outside. Often there are also buskers or people with organizations outside attempting to raise money/ signatures. The store is laid out very logically if a little small. They have really nice fresh and often locally sourced produce. They also have locally sourced dairy and cheese products. They have a coffee counter and a hot bar serving breakfast, lunch/dinner. They also have a really nice salad bar, dessert bar and and wholesale items (nuts, fresh made guacamole, premade lunches, etc.) They are a popular dining spot and grocery store. They do have some really good community programs as well, such as recycling programs. They don't have bags in store, so you need to bring your own. They also specifically do not have plastic cutlery- they have steel that asks one to wash and return even if taking food away.

They're clean, the staff are professional and friendly, prices are reasonable. If you not like crowded places thus is probably not a place for you.Unfortunately they didn't have what I was looking for, which is not a big deal.

This place had a great healthy selection and their hot bar was elite. Their food was actually way better than I expected but their prices are a little steep for me. Great parking!!

This is a chefs happy place. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of items Weaver Street market offers. The produce looked good and I love that they had bunches of fresh herbs, their meat section had lots to offer, not offten do I see mutten sausage, and they had a great selection of vegan protiens. As a chef with a food allergy, it is important to have a grocery store that offers alternative goods. They could work on having a better selection of sugar-free and keto products, but what they have isn't bad at all. What surprised me the most were their refrigerated tortillas, I suppose they are not a popular item to be left unrefrigerated, but they at least had corn and bumbo flour tortillas. The staff was polite and informative, and the atmosphere was definitely a little different but still cool. I have never seen so many middle-aged women shopping at the same time and no suprise by the flirty old guys shopping alone. Hillsborough is a hip place, and Weaver Street Market is the place to shop.

Always clean and well stocked. Lots of healthy, local choices for fruits, veggies, and meat. The people are always friendly and helpful. Good fresh food options too from the food bar, bakery, salad bar, etc. Definitely worth a visit!

Ridiculously overpriced. High up managers treat lower ranking staff like garbage. (*cough* Nabbale *cough* Alice *cough*) And hold their employees to unrealistic standards and sometimes can be downright cruel. Literally no one enjoys their presence.Had personal experience with a wonderful coworker being pushed out of the company for no clear reason. Just kept having their hours cut until they couldn't survive. And apparently Alice will blatantly ask her subordinates to not give certain people she dislikes hours.Overall, good products, but not a business worth supporting. You're better off literally anywhere else.

Hot bar food is too pricey for such a salty, not very healthy food! I paid $10 for this small, very salty chicken cream soup.. I've had their breakfast ("healthy" tofu scramble"). Again, too salty, too fatty.

It's nice but the Harry Krishna people ruined the mood... They were so loud and the music gave us a headache. I would say this place is like the whole foods in Well Springs

My favorite place in Hillsboro. I come here for dinner. They also have a very nice breakfast. Everything is fresh and tastes homemade. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating available. I like sitting outside under the trees.

Ordered a chocolate cake with chocolate icing for my husband's birthday. I'm lactose intolerant and it's "animal product free". My guests could not stop raving about the cake, and I had the same reaction when we used it as a wedding cake a few years ago. If you need a dessert for a special event, I highly recommend ordering in advance. Even the grab and go desserts are good but custom is great!

Weaver st in Carrboro is like living in Santa Cruz, and I mentioned it already. It started around 1986? It was like a dream.Incidentally - The Weaver St in Hillsborough has always had fantastic staff. Cooks, bakers, beer/wine selection, prepared dinner entree under $8!Side note they need more 'Starpoint' No Duh(Carrboro) beer. Their Burial Surf Wax beer is $2.50 Cheaper than Whole Foods.

Weaver street is the best co-op store I have been too. Staff there are always amazing and friendly and ready to lend a helping hand. I do love that the staff are knowledgeable about their products and can give me recommendations on certain products before I buy it. The hot bar has never disappointed me. I never have been so in love with chicken burritos as I am with Weavers street. Also, you guys have the best Chicken Cesar salad.

It's a grocery store. But it's a grocery store where you remove the stress, the rude people and you keep only the positive and have a wonderful experience. Produce are beautiful. Bakery is awesome (coming from a demanding French citizen). People are so nice. Weaver Street Market have several other locations, but Hillsborough is the best one. Everytime I go to the Orange County seat, I stop there. Can't resist. And I got married there, in the store, but that's another story...

Always love this place for the community feel and great produce. Loved the Homemade Chicken Pot Pie as well! Plus I was pleasantly surprised about the use of paper straws. Loved their thoughtfulness in the way they serve our community.

Weaver Street is a medium-sized co-op grocery store, one of four in the area, specializing in locally produced/grown organic foods. I primarily go to Weaver Street when I want to pay a premium for produce that tastes better, though you need to be careful about what you choose. More than once I have brought home produce that appeared good, but had been on the shelf too long without the preservatives that non-organic grocers use. The biggest reason that I only use Weaver Street on an "as needed" basis, though, is that it tends to attract the better-liberal-than-you crowd--customers will push you out of the way, parents will encourage their children to practice their conversations at length with the staff when you are waiting, there is a stickiness all around. I actually prefer Steve's down the street for local farm products.

Great place to meet for coffee or a light meal and go for a walk along the river. Convenient parking. Great selection of JPs bakery items both gluten-free and vegan. Nice small selection of groceries, but not enough to do all of your grocery shopping.

Great food there the food bar is open from 8 am to 8 pm. Great food and the bakery has a lot of delicious cakes and pastries to choose from! Also they have a good wine selection with all organic items! Good maintenance and very clean. If you come here i will recommend you get the Challah bread, this is the BEST bread i have ever ate. They freshly make them on every Thursday.

Nice local grocery store comparable to Whole Foods. Very pleasant outside dining tables where you can bring pets. Good place to stop for lunch or a drink while on the Riverwalk Trail. Plenty of parking between the local lot and the parking deck next door.
