Been in Espey Hardware a couple times. Always have extra keys made there. The older man that always makes my extra keys for me is so nice. They always have the sweetest dog in the store . I believe there are two dogs but I may be wrong. Might just be one. Anyway nice dog and great service.

This place is great! Amazing selection and service. We drove right an an hour to look at fireplaces, unfortunately with our schedules we had to arrive 20 minutes from closing time. They didn't mind a bit and helped us, they were very knowledgeable and helpful. We bought what we needed, they brought it around on a fork lift and helped us load it. Highly recommended! Lots of fireplace stuff in stock as well.

Bought my dream woodstove here. The Hearthstone Heritage 4 had to be ordered and Dustin was always prompt in communicating with me. Let me know as soon as it arrived, helped me get the right pipe to install, and was very knowledgeable throughout. The price was fair and the service exceptional. This is why I shop local small businesses instead of the big stores....I want my money to support these great people and American business. Thanks for a great experience!

Love this place!! They always seem to come thru in the clutch. Carrying things like long threaded bolts as an example. Or chimney caps, who knew Chimney Caps were hard to find! Great friendly service every time!!!

Great selection of plants and the inside of the store offered a wonderful variety of merchandise. Sales staff were extremely friendly and helpful even making several trips to assist us with loading our purchases. This was my first trip but I will definitely be returning soon. I highly recommend this store.

These folks are cut from a different cloth, in the years I have done business with them, no one beats their service. Ever walk in the big box store and can't find anyone to help, then when you do, they don't know what there talking about. At espey, there's always someone, with good advice to help, they have even helped me over the phone after leaving the store.. And they insist on loading the heavy items for you, and it's the same employees year after year, always a friendly smile. Top notch, hands down.

These guys were extremely helpful and knowledgeable in fixing me up with the right chimney stuff I needed for the woodstove I installed in my mobile home. They carry top-of-the-line stuff and keep everything in stock year-round! They gave installation tips and even gave me a little discount at checkout. You might save a dollar trying to order stuff from the internet, but I recommend visiting these guys in person. They are familiar with the building codes, so they know what you need and won't sell you anything you don't. Support your friendly local small business!

It's ok, if you know exactly what you need/want but if you're wanting to browse around, you're going to the wrong place. It feels kind of small and cramped inside and when the staff ask if you need help with anything and you reply "you're just looking" you're going to get some funny looks. A friend told me they have some unique tools/gadgets, so I stopped by there to check out what all they had and I must say it was one of the most uncomfortable and awkward experiences I have have ever had. I will give 2 stars for all the useful things they do have, if a little expensive.
