Today we celebrated Christmas Eve with the final Production. Scott and his team produced another first class show. We along with the entire audience were thrilled with the singing and production quality.We look forward to another amazing season

Drove up from Wesley Chapel NC to see Rock of Ages. Our 1st visit to the area and the theatre. The venue was 1st rate as was the performance. All the performers gave 100%. The rock band assembled was simply amazing.! I highly recommend this venue and group!

Tonight was my second show and I continue to be astounded by the productions mounted in this beautiful new theater in the mountains. Coming from decades in the New York City Metro region, it is nice to have access to such great regional theater.

Saw the musical "Brooklyn" here while visiting. This small theatre was cozy with comfortable seating. Loved the show and the staff who were uber friendly. Very talented cast for this show. Would definitely buy tickets again in the future.

We caught a locally written and produced musical here. Great show and a very nice venue. The playhouse sits just a block off the picturesque main street, which provides sufficient charm on its own to justify the journey up the plateau.

Went to the Buddy Holly show on Friday night. Absolutely one of the best shows we have ever attended. Production was top rate, from set design to costumes. Actors were tremendous, direction on spot. All singers/actors were great, but the man playing Buddy was truly outstanding. And a shout out to the venue. People working there were great, theater was clean, sound was fantastic. A great experience, we will be back👍

Great performances. The actors are first rate NY Broadway quality. We have seen two plays..buddy holly was absolutely magnificent. We will return. Highly recommend for a wonderful evening of entertainment.

The Highlands Playhouse has been there for so many years that you know they must be doing something right. They offer a nice variety of shows in a very comfortable environment. We saw the Johnny Cash Ring of Fire and enjoyed it very much.

I have attended many theatrical productions from high school to Broadway, and have been involved in community theatre for years. This was an inferior production. Honestly, I have seen many high school productions that were far superior to this. The casting was terrible and the musical talent was poor. I am surprised that an upscale community such as Highlands would present themselves so poorly in the arts. The production we attended was "Ring of Fire".

Great small theater, everyone can feel like they're part of the action onstage. Staff extremely friendly. They have adult sippee cups that can be refilled! Looking forward to seeing more events there.

The Highlands Playhouse was a delightful part of our trip to North Carolina this summer! The two shows we saw were highly enjoyable, and there didn't seem to be a bad seat in the house! The box office staff were kind and courteous, and we look forward to making this part of our next trip to Highlands, NC.

So refreshing. A small theater, not a bad seat in the house. Someone donated a 30ft movie screen and they show first run movies when the playhouse is not in use. Love it!

Love this place. It's run by a nice friendly couple and they don't overcharge for refreshments$3 popcorn with fresh melted butter! Can't beat it.
