A lot of nice clothing and accessories for outdoors. Also plenty of people working to help you out with items. Nice, friendly people. However, no public restroom which seemed a little odd. Hard to concentrate on shopping when you need to go! They tell everybody you have to go down and across the street.

Favorite clothing store in Highlands. Great layout. Great feel. Great people who own it and work there. Great selection of top brand clothes and shoes at competitive prices (compare to Amazon and they are in line). Whether visiting or live here, great place to get hiking boots, rain coats, etc.

I love going to this place whenever I visit Highlands. It's my favorite shop there. It looks so small, but when you go in it's got so much stuff! They have great souvenirs and an awesome selection of shoes and active wear.

Great outfitting store. Very friendly people. I purchased a piece of clothing there. And realized it was the wrong size went back a couple of days later. I had forgotten my receipt and their policy is that you need a receipt for exchanges or returns. But they accommodated me no questions asked.

I had an awful experience a Bear Mountain in Outfitters. It took me 10 minutes to find someone to help me, and all they did was hand me a pair of shoes and they kept up selling me to buy the most expensive product available. I tried wearing the shoes ones, they did not fit, and the store refused to take them back because they said I had worn them. If they had a properly trained sales staff this would’ve never happened. Don’t waste your money, walk down the street to Highlands Hikers, the staff there is very helpful and knowledgeable.

I cant say enough great things about this store! The staff is so personable and they remember who you are. They like to have real conversations. The shoe department is impressive. All higher end brands of outdoor geard brands. Great selection of socks. Gigantic tshirt department of high quality. If you need a tshirt as a souvenir Bear Mountain Outfitters is the place to stop. Yearly winter sale with shoe prices as low as 50%

Thank the LORD for this place! They are the only apparel/gift shop in Highlands that isn't a snooty, overpriced closet. All of their inventory is adorable and/or practical and everything is reasonably priced. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable. Do NOT miss out on this gem!

Bear Mountain outfitters has great quality outdoor wear, and always goes the extra step for their customers, like delivering a purchase I had made to my wife in her car. She is scheduled to have hip replacement surgery next month and there was no nearby parking available, so she called the store and they ran it out to her car!
