On Thursday, December 1st, what we thought would be a normal routine grooming appointment, turned into an emergency visit to Happy Tails Veterinary Emergency Clinic with a diagnosis of “Laceration from grooming!” This was the most disappointing visit to date with this grooming salon, but it will definitely be the last attempt for us. Honestly, every since Haley left, we haven’t had a good experience. In a past appointment Lauren H cut his hair down so low, it was almost if you could see nothing but skin. We didn’t recognize him and were so upset! This happened again with this visit, only this time Kayla W deeply cut his skin. She had prior instructions on how low we wanted his hair, but chose to cut it as low as “she” wanted it to be. It’s one thing to cut the hair so low that the dog is unrecognizable. However, it’s another thing to cut a dog’s skin so deeply, he now has to wear an E collar (cone) for the next 10-14 days to prevent him from causing further damage to the area she cut. To make things worst, the only person that called to check on my dog was a representative from Happy Tails Veterinary Emergency Clinic, which I really appreciated! No one from the grooming salon reached out and even when I talked to Kayla W the next day, she never apologized for cutting him or inconveniencing us by having to bring the dog back to finish the haircut.In the first photo, my husband had just gotten home from sitting at Happy Tails Veterinary Emergency Clinic for several hours waiting on our dog to be discharged. Notice the haircut was only half finished.In photos 2 & 3, you can see how deep she cut him. When she called to notify me, she stated she only nicked him and there was no bleeding. However, this was not true.In photo 4, you can see the E collar (cone) he has to wear for the next 10-14 days.In photo 5, you can see the clarity of the cut, which I took this photo today.In photo 6, you can see the desired length we like his hair to be, because without any length we can tell he’s cold. I’ve saw him shivering a number of times and put a blanket around him.

Took my dog here because a lot of the local groomers are booked up. She did really well there so I brought her back regardless of the fact that I could have saved 50 dollars. They shaved her stomach like she was being spayed and then shaved behind her ears and cut her pretty bad. I spoke to the manager and they offered the money back and to cover any vet bills but it still does not make this okay. I’m giving it two stars because they did offer to fix the situation but it shouldn’t have been a situation that occurred anyways.Update because I never received a refund and my dogs hair has been falling out in chunks ever since she got it cut.

The people have always been friendly, but they really need to step up their online orders. I've received wrong items, bags that have been ripped open (on numerous occasions), orders that have taken 6+ hours to be fulfilled. Just carelessnes.

Two hours after dropping off my sheepadoodle, I received a phone call to pick up my puppy. Arrived to find groomer only shaved the dog's left side. Never saw Taylor the groomer. She was apparently too busy to even come forward to offer an explanation. Never again.

The High Point location was very professional and even though my Patches was very timid of clippers and bath time, they made him comfortable enough to finish his trim and luxury services. He looked and smelled great at pickup!

Taylor is my regular groomer. I always get a good groom of 2 standard poodles. They are treated well and do not oppose going to the groomer

When I dropped my toy poodle off there, she was so excited and loves being around other dogs so much. I had her groomed there a couple times before so no worries. When I picked her up she was petrified. She hid in her kennel for over two weeks from some type of trauma she got there. Never again.

Brought my 3-month old puppy for his first grooming. Got back home and he is scratching non-stop. We were thinking it’s the soap used. But we found a tick! Will never use the grooming service here, ever again.

Consistently the worst PetSmart in the Triad. I live a block from this store and still drive to Wendover. They have either been out of what I needed or closed at an unreasonable hour ever time I have been there for roughly 6 trips in a row.

They scalped my shippoo! I ask for a poodle cut and she got shaved all over her entire body! She came out looking like a rescue dog from the pound!
