From Woodpeckers to hummingbirds to even bats the staff here are knowledgeable, friendly and eager to help you create a utopia for your flying friends.

If I could give WBU Hickory 10 stars I would. I am not a Hickory, NC local but a customer of WBU Hickory from out of state. Although I have a WBU store locally, WBU Hickory has gained a new customer from afar through me and the amazing experience I had with them.The staff, especially Tina is absolutely exceptional. I had placed an order online, and realized I wanted to add more items. Tina was extremely helpful and thorough, taking the time to see if the items were available or not and offering solutions for items out of stock. What blew me away was the above and beyond she did to check sister stores after our call and to call me back to advise me that they had the items in stock and could have them shipped from the other store. I was beyond thrilled! When I package arrived the next day there were special touches and care given to the shipment. When I did notice an issue, I called the WBU Hickory store and Tina answered the phone listened to my concerns and offered amazing solutions to help resolve everything. Again, they have made me a return customer after all this and the above and beyond support.I will be ordering from here again soon! Thank you, Tina and the WBU Hickory Staff!

This store has everything you need to attract all varieties of birds! Kelly has helped me order several things, while Rick and Clay always follow up to let me know when they arrive. Roger has helped me set up several stations in my backyard that has my whole family entertained! I always enjoy my trips to the bird store!

Great local store! Nice selection of items. Bought some suet, cards and a large post mounted bird feeder. Staff person Clay was very nice, helpful and demonstrated knowledge of the merchandise. Really nice place to shop!
