Pleasant helpful staff who always seem to enjoy their work. I may be wrong though! The staff make this place. Always say hello when entering store. They don't bother you too much, but are always right there if needed. They chat with each other and customers. It's a very pleasant experience each time I go, and staff are pleasant when I need to return something. Yes it's a little more expensive, but it's always clean, and it always smells pleasant when walking in. The dog wash is hands down the best in town. Just a superior shopping experience.

First time going to this store and I absolutely love it .the staff are very friendly. I went today to look and possibly buy some fish because the big chain I usely use there fish have been looking really bad and not healthy at all. Well let me tell you I was absolutely impressed with the quality of there fish and the clean and beautiful tanks. I would highly recommend anybody to this store.

Not sure why it took me so long to pay a visit to @Pet Supermarket but I did and I'm very impressed with the store, selection and staff. The store is very well layed out, clean and organized. Products are easily labeled with clear indication of price (sale or normal). Isles are clear of debris and clutter.They offer a wide variety of products, manufactures and food i.e. grain free, protein, etc. in small to large sizes. This makes it great for customers with alternative selections so they can find the best product for their pet. The have a small variety of aquarium and reptilian animal and associated supply.The staff there have been incredibly friendly, helpful and kind. From the initial greeting to use walking throughout the store and to checking out, all of the staff were great. The company hits on all the right things to have repeat customers. If I had any perceived negative commentary it would be that their pricing is a little on the high side compared to another supply company in town. Overall though, that doesn't change my review from a 5 star - as they hit on service, selection and store environment.

We love this pet store. They have a multitude of pet supplies that any pet would love to have. Their prices are very reasonable. We usually buy from chewy and pay $91 a bag and when we buy the same bag here it's just a little more at $96 a bag. But sometimes I can't wait in chewy so I have to pay the extra. That's the only thing I wish they would do is price match. If they would price match I would buy here every week because we have 4 cats and 4 pit bills and we're always needing something. But it's a great pet supply store. I give it a 9.5/10! Will definitely be back!

I love this place and so does my dog, we have been coming here for 2 years driving all the way from Lenoir to bathe my dog and it’s well worth it, The store is always clean and put together and employees are so polite but there is one employee who is special overall, Mike makes a difference to our visit, as soon as we get to the store our dog immediately goes looking for him because he is his favorite employee, he always. makes sure to pay attention to detail and gives you his best advice always for your pets best interest, he is an asset to this company!But I also cannot let this review go with also recognizing Rachel, who always welcomes him with a big smile and some snuggles, she always makes his feel special telling him he’s a good boy!

Went today for the first time with my daughter. This place is amazing and has everything! I'm pretty sure every single employee came to greet our German shepard (Stella) and it Totally made our day! The dog baths are self service and very convenient so miss Stella got a good bath before we left. We will continue to shop here for the atmosphere alone but the prices are great as well 👍.

I bring my dog regularly here for baths, and we both love them here. Mike & Rachel are usually there, and they are both wonderful! Mike is kind, winning my girl (who typically fears men) over quickly. He’s been a great resource for me, as a new dog owner, and I’m so grateful. Rachel is always kind & welcoming, making the process smooth and easy for me. Highly recommended from me & my (clean) pup! 💕

Who loves the smell of a Pet Shop? Who loves the sound of live animal chirping and seeing fish swimming left and right? Who loves the look of a creature looking into your eyes saying, "take me with you Master"? I absolutely do! This place is so cool to walk around because they have aisle full of cool toys for your loved home creatures, aisles of food of all kinds (even vegan, LOL!). Just kidding, but they might as well have because it's so varied. Also, they bring in cool birds and ferrets, crayfish and other cool fresh water critters.Although staff is super friendly, I personally IMO, need better more presentable image. Wearing (and this is just and example, and it's not real) heavy metal pointy necklace and black nail polish and half painted hair red and green doesn't really shout welcome to your friendly Pet Supermarket. That being said, and it's probably the only complaint that I have, the have always been super friendly and very helpful.Prices are not really cheap, however, considering there's no other pet shop within a reasonable range, I guess they can maintain what have and it's reasonable. They are not super expensive like PetsMart (which I don't consider a true pet shop) they are extremely expensive and variety is well, limited.Keep up the good work. I will continue shopping here as long as the quality of the products and services stay high and prices stay competitive.

Very clean store! Very friendly staff! Only problem is not a huge reptile and reptile product selection. Half the store is dogs then the other half is cats with some fish and bunny stuff thrown in.

There hasn’t been one time that I have ever walked out of here, without being more informed about each product that I come to inquire about.! I absolutely love and appreciate everyone that works here, and I’ve never seen this place be disorganized in the least bit. I don’t have a problem with driving longer just to come to pet supermarket. I have recommended all of my friends to buy anything for their pets here.

Within 5 minutes of entering the store we were approached twice by different staff who greeted us and offered to help find what we were looking for. Great selection of merchandise and good variety of fish. First time here and will definitely go back.

I took my daughter last night and it was amazing! There is a sales associate named Emma there and she is wonderful. She was very well versed on all of the animals and taught my five year old and myself all kinds of things. She let my daughter hold some of the animals and really taught her how to handle them with care while teaching her about them. She was so inviting. I really wish this was offered at every store. This employee needs a raise for sure! Thank you Emma!

Cleanest and best cared for fish tanks in three counties. Very helpful staff, whom are caring with the animals. Excellent selection of pet foods for cats and dogs. Also treats, beds, and carriers. Their bettas are healthy and well cared for in clean water.

Everytime I come to this location they never have crickets. It doesn't matter what day of the week I come they're always out. Maybe order more so you have enough to get till next delivery day. Reptiles gotta eat too.

In my opinion its the most organized well laid out store everything is so easy to find, with the most friendliest staff. Very clean no carts in isles easy to shop very reasonable prices for good quality items, lots of stuff on sale as well!! would definitely recommend over pet smart!!for sure!

Last Tuesday, I decided to take in 2 new fish and went to Pet Supermarket because I knew they had an awesome selection. I picked out the fish's and took them home. I let them get acclimated and made the switch over to my tank that I had set up. Later this week, one of my new fish died. Since it hadn't been a week yet, I was under the impression that they would at least give me my money back or another fish. (I have other fish from here and recall being told there was a warranty BUT AT NO TIME, the specifications of the warranty) Today when I went to the store with my fish's body, I was told I need to go back home and bring back a sample of water for them to test. I live 25 minutes away, but thought they were just going to tell me what was wrong because I was genuinely upset. I come back to the store with my water sample from my aquarium and dead fish. They test my water and said my water was too hard for the fish, so they are unable to give me another OR give me my money back. I didnt even get my 15-dollar fish's body back. I assume I was dealing with the owner, and he just didn't want to fulfill the refund. Any other time my boyfriend and I went in there, it was always very nice women, but this guy just had a bad vibe about him. They definitely lost a valued couple customers today and I feel taken advantage of, seeing that the other 3 fish I have gotten from the store are still doing swimmingly.

Traveled here from out of town because Pet Supermarket is usually a great place to get fish and aquatic plants — not the case at this location. Plants were in bad shape and fish were visibly sick with ich and rot. Numerous dead decaying fish in each tank. Very disappointed.

So I bought a seat cover for my truck in August and was assured that it was made for my truck (it wasn’t ) The issue was that it was too short . Told the guy I had a Dodge Ram the year and model and I was told that yea it will fit. Well with the health issues that I have had recently I wasn’t able to install this till October. Went back and asked for a refund because it didn’t fit my truck (again I was told it would) I asked for a store credit and was refused because the machine tells me I can’t it’s over 30 days the computer won’t allow it. Again I wanted a store credit . There’s nothing I can do I do what the machine tells me to do. Not only is this the most expensive store there is but the ability to help a customer out when he still wants to purchase something in your store is thrown out the window. I’ve worked retail all my life and have always accommodated the customer ( right or wrong) Never never shop at this store .
