I purchased a riding lawn mower here several years ago and still runs awesome. The folks here are friendly and hard-working. I just had a tune-up of my lawn mower. Well done job and was reasonably priced. I highly recommend this location.

Every time I stop on here it’s on a whim. I never know exactly what I’m looking for when I start a project. The employees always guide me in the right direction, and are quick and efficient about. I wish they had a larger selection for woodworking, but that’s only because I’d prefer to come here over big box stores. They have a great selection of gardening equipment.

Small hometown hardware store. They are the service center for Hustler Raptor lawn mowers. I had broken my mower and needed parts. I went here, was served, no long wait and one of the best employees in the world helped me. We got a few other things and left. We will for sure be back. I highly recommend this place.

Just stopped in for some hay or straw, and the older gentleman who works in that area is really nice! He loaded them in my jeep, which put a smile on my face!! I like to support smaller shops, I want these businesses to stay!! So next time you may need a few garden items such as straw, then visit THIS spot!!!

Growing up in Illinois, I have always had a great appreciation for John Deere. Hickory Home & Garden made ownership a reality! I needed a powerful walk behind that can climb serious hills. And with my son heading off for college, I needed it more than ever. Our older Honda push mower was on its last leg. They said the commercial would do the best, and they had a used 36" walk behind for an amazing price - below half of new - and it had very low hours too! We took it home and mowed the first night and it was an amazing difference stepping up to commercial quality. WOW! What a difference.

Nice place hands down period. I called them for the parts department and I was amazed on how well I was taken care of. The man got my parts ordered and got them so quickly which was so helpful in my situation. He even shipped them my way saving me two trips as well. Very impressive.

Myself and others that I know rely on Hickory Home and Garden Center for their equipment, parts, sales , and services . They are always reliable, helpful, and help me get the best parts at the best prices aroundI don't get money for my responses about anyone and this isn't fluff . They are good fast people for a good priceOthers can charge you more but you won't get it better.The products and prices speak for themselves. The wholesome service is a bonus.

This locally owned, small business is a great go to place for pretty much any diy project, home repair or garden need. As a homeowner/dryer my husband and I love thus place. The prices are often better than the big box stores and you don't have to buy more than you need. And with their very knowledgeable and helpful staff, why go anywhere else.

Call parts department for a switch John deere lawnmower said they had it. Went and picked it up. Tried to put it in its holder was too big plug it in it would crank the mower up but would not turn it off. Took it back got in an argument with counter guy said that they don't take electrical parts back. After a little bit of argument he found a generic switch and told me its the same price but I seen the package it was half the price. Will not shop there again.

Gary and his family treat you right at this place. They sell John Deere mowers and Stihl equipment as well. Everyone is always willing to help if you need it. Very good prices on equipment and mowers. I visit this place at least once a week. I will keep going back as long as they stay in business.

Years ago a friend told me about Hickory Home and Garden as a great source for lawn and garden supplies. Since then it's the only place I go. Aaron and his team provide help and true expertise. Plus they're great people and easy to visit with. And the power equipment folks are great as well.If you are not a regular, I encourage you to stop in once. You'll likely be back!

Hickory Home and Garden is a well stocked hardware store. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their prices are often better than the big box hardware stores, too. I've shopped there for years and will continue to do so.

I go here for their huge selection of Milwaukee tools. Their prices are pretty competitive and they have a huge selection in stock. They carry lots of other things too, but all I'm familiar with is the Milwaukee tools.

I stopped by today to purchase an electric weed trimmer. The staff was friendly and courteous. The young man who helped me was knowledge about the product and patiently answered my questions. He was thorough in his explanation of the proper use and care of the trimmer. He made the transaction a pleasant experience. Check them out for your next home improvement project.

Bought my mower there an fist service they charged me 200 bucks!!! That’s just oil ,filter an grease also had a flat left tire charged me 40 bucks for that. Labor was 100 bucks!! For a mower oil change!! Last time I ever step foot in there an I will tell everyone that ask about you that , if you want it shoved up your a@@ that’s the place to go!! If there was a zero stars you would receive that!!

His after purchase customer service is second to none! Had a issue w/ my new rig and he dropped everything he was doing to get it fixed and get me back on the road.
