ALL BLACK PEOPLE DONT STEAL!!!My husband and I have been going to this location for a few years now. They have (or so I thought) great customer service, along with a clean and well -maintained store. The quality and sources of fruit and vegetables are better than Walmart. And, this is why we have continued to shop here. I noticed recently that we have been followed on just about every aisle. I understand that people who look like us may steal, and it's part of the job to look out and watch people who look suspcious. But I don't believe we have given them that reason and don't understand why we get followed now! This happened again this evening, and we won't be back.

Always encountering 2 older cashiers. Only know ones name Nancy. I went in about 845 on a Sunday night 8/20/23 to get drinks for the week. As I went in I noticed my Mother was in one of the carts due to injuring her ankle and also being 72. Neither my Mom or the cashier Nancy saw me watching, Nancy was very rude to my Mother, she would bag the groceries and would not push them toward her to reach themleaving my Mother sitting on the edge about to fall off the cart, so I went over there and surprised both of them and grabbed the bags and told Nancy to push them so she can reach them. I got home and cooled off and then called the Manager on duty. He was a young guy forgot his name, but he started off being a little arrogant, so I had to get a little firm with the situation at hand then he was okay. They say they will take care of it but for 5 or 6 times that I know of they haven't. My recommendation is go to the one in Hildebran, they are only a couple minutes away and a true to the quote when you call about customer service being priority.I had several run ins with these lady cashiers before about being hateful and very rude. On 5 different occasions the " Managment " if that's what you call it says we will handle it, if that's the case why does these incidents keep happening

Wish I could give more stars , but most of the employees I encounter here are rude at best . I never say anything but today a young girl with braids sunglasses and tattoo on forearm nearly pushed all her carts into me as I was leaving with my cart after paying, trying to exit to go to my car . She had earbuds in when I tried to say something . Just rude . I know you hate your job but it's no one's fault but your own. This is only one time there have been more

Nasty older woman and a couple others was smoking outside, we went to the deli where they apparently had left the cake decorator completely alone to do their jobs while they all smoked, which we found out when other three got back from smoking. My husband pointed out the older woman didn't wash her hands (nasty) and started working on cakes. Absolutely disgusting, and I'd hate to work somewhere where all the other employees go on smoke breaks and leave someone from another department to do their job. The younger woman/cake decorator seemed sweet at least and friendly and didn't mind helping us at all, but this is NOT what I want to see when I shop here.

The only complaint that I have is every time I am in Food Lion they are ALWAYS out of tater tots...other than that NO complaints. Always have super friendly staff and easy shopping experience.

Great customer service, always willing to help you find anything you need. Only issue i have is more employees to help check out the customers. The check out lines tend to get extra long and customers HATE waiting a long period of time to pay.

My wife visited there on Sunday and was given a fake $100 bill she realized it went back. They watch the videotapes and saw that she was giving money back but couldn't decide or tell what it was. Was not willing to cover the loss at this point. You would think that a multibillion-dollar company we'll just take care of her guests and give the hundred dollars and do the right thing.

The up-keep is great, and the staff is wonderful! Just a bit out of date, so no curb side pick-up, and some isles are lacking a little bit. If you're looking for something super specific they might not have it. For regular grocery shopping though, I love it!

Cashiers always very friendly, store and parking lot clean. Young lady in the deli was very acknowledged about what she had to sell and what items were on sale. Great visit as usual. Hand Sanitizer at the door, and santi-wipes to wipe your cart down.

Okay store. Has most any essentials you may be looking for, however, I was very disappointed with the slim variety of meats in the meat cases, beef in particular. Very limited selection of beef products. Also was very hard to find anyone to assist me in locating a particular grocery item. Not overly impressed with customer service.

My very first visit to this Food Lion was 5 star! It is brightly lit, has wide aisles, products and sales well marked, and a very good selection of everything I needed. I love this one because it's hidden away a bit. Selfish on my part; it's rarely crowded. The staff is nice. One cashier loaded my car for me, as I'd had recent surgery. The store always looks clean. I usually find everything I need. Most FLs are 10 times better than they were 10-15 years ago. I'm happy they bounced back.

Great service, friendly staff and hardly ever are they out of the items I want. Usually only bread as I get a special kind they don't stock a lot of (but neither do other stores). I came here after years of shopping at Wal-Mart. Tired of always out of stock, no help when you needed it and never enough lines opened (except self checkout and they don't pay me to work there).

The best thing about this Food Lion is the staff. U can't speak to those working in the evenings or nights, but the morning crew is thoughtful, attentive, and polite. They are always willing to lend a hand and never make me feel as if I've interrupted their day, like in so many other stores.Now the negatives. Price is of course higher than Walmart. Selection is also less plentiful. Freshness of dairy and produce have been more than suspect on a couple occasions, but the store always made it right and exchanged or refunded in a simple and friendly interaction.

The store is well stocked, clean and offers a good selection of merchandise. I found them to be extremely concerned about sanitation, masks and social distance when I shopped there. Staff was also courteous and helpful.
