Employees at this location could use a lesson on how to smile a little more often, other than that I love visiting Dollar General locations. Love how you can find one in every town. I'd rate 5 stars if it wasn't for the employees attitudes here.

It is nice to have a neighborhood store to pickup a few items that you need without the hassles of major shopping event and we certainly have a plethora of dollar stores . While some try to maintain order others dissolve into chaos and unfortunately this store has fallen into that category. Crowded isles, stocking carts blocking every turn, merchandise askew as well as a long line at the one open cash register turn a quick stop into an unpleasant experience. Replacing stock and cleaning after hours would make a difference!

This Dollar General had stayed stocked in variety of different types of people of thing's all priced one dollar each. I got stove eye metal burner covers matching ✋ mittens, hand towels , matching pot holders and place Matt's All for one dollar each I was changing My kitchen decorations too 🐓'sSo many great deals more than I had ever seen stocked out of 5 different Dollar general stores I had bought from I was A very happy with the deals priced & Being able to get all I needed without having to go to other Dollar general stores to see if they had some. That's why I gave it 5 🌟 rating. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Close to home and a fantastic group of cashiers that never hesitate to do what they can to help you. Wendy always brightens my day. Besides the fact that she is the grandmother of the first female afro-american president in our illustrious history, she, herself, is always good for a how's your day n a heart felt goodbye Felicia. I wish I knew more of their names, I will make that a priority, all great employees and human beings. Drop bye n tell them hi n let them brighten your day too.

I really like shopping at DG, what I dis-like is that most stores get OVER filled with product. Also they don't keep a close eye on costumers or AKA thieves. You can walk around and see items open used. 😞

The people that work there are very nice there was a new girl she was very sweet helped out a older lady to her car and even put it in for her..you don't see people like that anymore..i had forgot to get her name but she has good manners and great customer service

I have perchased all my stuff at Dollar general in Longview for a few years now. They are very friendly. Miss Kelly is the sweetest employee there. She is very helpful. But over all. All the lady's at that store go out of there way to help people. That's the only dollar general I will trade at.

This dollar general location seems to have a lot of problems. Has problems keeping certain items in stock. Most of the time the line is incredibly long and one member of the staff that usually opens in weekday mornings if incredibly rude.

A typical Dollar General store on the edge of the town of Longview. This store isn't very organized, but it could also be the Christmas crowd shopping, and leaving a mess. Lol, The variety is not as large as some of the other stores, but still has a good selection to choose from. The staff is friendly. The restroom was very messy, with the toilet missing a lid off the tank. The women's restroom was closed, so it was being utilized as a unisex restroom. In summary, this Dollar General store is in a convient location, can use some improvements in cleansing, with decently stocked shelves, and nice staff.

A good quick stop for just about anything you need. The entrance to this place in Longview is horrible... I tend to go to a different one most of the time because I don't like to go in & out of the parking lot. It lifts the back corner of my car off the ground.

Nice store. Nice employees. Perfect location. The only thing I'd update is the entrance to the parking lot. It has a huge dip getting in and out. However, it may fall under the Town/City. Well, great store.

I'll just say this...I don't know your name, but i know one thing. You, my dear, do Not need to be working in retail dealing with the public!! Want to know why you were only getting 9 hours a week??? Because your attitude stinks. You should not be telling customers to hold on!! Especially when that customer is the only one in the store and you saw them approach. You stop chit chatting with your coworker and tend to the customer First. Then you can go back to wasteful chit chatting. Both you and Melissa ignored this customer. It shouldn't matter your acquaintence or the lack of. POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE NOW THAT LIZ IS GONE. You two are probably the reason others left. Now THAT'S why you were only getting 9 hours a week honey!!! If you're gonna work in retail, you need to learn who comes first and for that matter who's always right...the customer!!! Best advice for you is... don't show your opinions openly through attitude. And certainly don't voice them through ignorance... it always shows or do you even care? I also can't help but think many other customers feel the same as I. But then again you don't care do you?? Btw, this is NOT the first time i've witnessed your retail etiquette i'm just fed up after witnessing last night's encounter. What a shame....

Good experience good prices easily accessible large selection of just about everything that I needed the staff was very friendly and very helpful the store was clean and well-stocked I was in and out in no time

Lady was helpful....this is a very busy store but they are also a high theft store in a bad area so be mindful of that. They have a high amount of theft so I wouldn't go in there tryin to steal they look at everyone shifty lol

The poor cashier was having issues with the register not ringing in the corrrect amount. Tried to find a manager which took her 10 minutes to find. When your having issues with the registers and you have customers in the store the last place the manager needs to be is outside smoking. That is not professional at all and you don't leave a new employee unattended to cater to your habits.

Now on the other hand, THIS particular Dollar General is a damned disgrace.All the filth, disorganized mayhem of most other Dollar General's, but with even less selection.How is that possible? I thought they were all shipped the same stuff?Dont waste your time!
