Food, service, and prices were good! However, we were ignored for more than 15 minutes when trying to check out and pay our bill. People in line BEHIND US were served FIRST. My husband was ready to just give up and leave! This part was unacceptable. Paying customers trying to do what's right while being ignored as if they aren't even present. Just WOW!

Seafood was fresh and prepared just right. Great menu selection, and reasonably priced. Staff were very courteous and worked hard to please. Some of the best seafood that I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Outstanding food and service! Even with large party food comes hot and drinks are always filled. The quantity of food for the price is awesome. One of my favorite places to eat.

This is my first visit here. I ordered the flounder sandwich, it was very good as well as the cajun fries. I will visit you again when I'm in the area. Thank you for a delightful lunch, the staff was very friendly and efficient.

My husband and I had intentions on dining in, but ordered takeout because seating is limited and a bit tight. Between 5-10 minutes, we were able to place our order. The cashier was pleasant and was patient with us, as it was extremely busy. They had picnic tables outside, so we sat out there and waited on our takeout. Our food was ready in 25 minutes, which was the amount of time we were told it would be. The crab dip, crab cakes, and seafood platter were all amazing! This was our first time trying Story's, and we will definitely be returning.

The place was very busy. We waited for over an hour for our food. It was hot, but not fried as hard as I usually enjoy. Shrimp, scallops, and oysters were a bit soggy (we did have it to-go so maybe that had something to do with it.) We might try a sit down and see if we get better results on a less busy time of day.

Have been hearing a lot of good talk about this place so we tried it out on Saturday nightI was every thing people said it was. Food was good and plentifulStaff was friendly and efficient. The only mistake was us going at peak time, very crowded but only a short wait. Will definitely be going again. Hint, hint - the tuna steak was awesome!"

My husband loved the frog legs meal & I enjoyed the talapia meal. This restaurant is moderately price, serves great food, & the server was excellent! She even took a picture of the 4 of us. We are from Missouri & we're passing through on our way from Alexandria, VA going to Cary, NC. we met with my cousin & her husband, who live in Elizabeth City & recommended we eat there!

Fair price, clean, quick, and tastes good too. That waitress was a pro. She handled the whole restaurant floor like a veteran - with a sweet smile and great service. It felt familiar in there, but probably because it was your traditional northeastern NC seafood stop. 5 star waitress. Wish I got her name.

I am giving it four stars because I've never had a problem with the food but service is always been an issue. The last time we went in there someone said they'd be right with us. Twenty minutes go by and three people standing behind the counter just talking to each other. We finally got up and left and I haven't been back since.

The food & the service at Story's are excellent. The portions received are ample, worthy of what is charged. They have a good variety of seafood & accompanying sides, as well. The waitresses work together to give you the best dining experience possible.

Food is fantastic. The wait staff is friendly and fantastic. It's like eating at a fish fry at grandma's with family around. Amazing atmosphere, simple and to the point. You can't go wrong! I do recommend the big boy platter if it's your first time. It let's you try a little bit of everything! Worth the price!
