Recently visited Hardee’s while traveling home from vacation. Firstly, we were wrongly charged for another order (thankfully fixed). Secondly, the server at the window was also the food prep worker doing bath jobs. Our milkshakes were half full. Our burger was cold. We asked for ketchup and received 3 packets for a family of four. I guess for fast food in a rural area it was to be expected, but it could have been much much better.

The service is terrible. My wife was running late Thursday night and decided Hardee's was easier than going home to cook. They tried to talk her out of the chicken dinner because it was getting close to 8:00pm and didn't want to make more I assume because they explained it was going to have to be breaded and then cooked and was going to be 20 to 25 min and when she told them she would wait they rolled their eyes at her. If they don't like their job, they should find a new one. Don't feel bad the other fast food place in town treat the patrons in the same way. The same scenario happened to me at the Hardee's about 2 years ago. I just think for the amount of money in today's economy the service to your customers would be first and top notch.

Polite fast and accurate with the order.Update July 2, 2022So maybe I just lucked out, but today was terrible. Ask for 20 piece tenders and some French fries...tenders ok but fries were stale. So ask for a replacement and they refried them like beans or rice...ugh

Visited this location on Saturday evening. Waited for 10 minutes just to order. I understand the cashier was making shakes but the other cashier( drive thru runner) was walking around talking on her cellphone like we weren’t even standing there. She stood directly on front line drinking a drink with out washing her hands after. The only reason she walked off with it was because I said something. The cashier was very customer friendly but when did they allow you to wear your hats turned around backwards as if you’re hanging out with friends. This location used to pride itself on good customer service and the staff looked as if they were there to work. We didn’t see a manager until we had to send the food back a second time because the burger was hard and dry. Then they just threw it together. The final time the manager fixed it. I understand everyone work ethic differs but come on Hardee’s these are not the core values that you taught us.

The Elizabeth City Hardee's...I could even taste the hamburger. It didn't even taste charcoal broiled. The milkshakes are inconsistent...one was barely mixed and the other was so loose it was more like a smoothie. Usually most Hardee's are priced well and the food is good. I don't know what's going on there. It made a birthday lunch a flop. Still love Hardee's at most places.

Preordered using the mobile app. Asked them to go ahead and prepare before I arrived. When I told them I was there they asked me to pull forward to the window. Once at the window I heard them say that’s not the right one and they are at the window. I was asked to pull forward without even getting my drinks first. About five minutes later they brought out my order and then went back to get my drinks. Not my best experience there, but everyone has an off day.

Unfortunately this was the shocking first time ever having an awful experience at this place. It was awhile being waited on(no biggie)took awhile to get my order & it was wrong. The cashier confused me so bad I paid for a meal when all she had to do was give me the one item in place of the wrong one for the same price. I left mad but it took too long for her to acknowledge me & I had to be somewhere else

It was late & I was tired, so decided to grab dinner on my way home. I sat in the drive-thru for 30 minutes; definitely not a "quick" stop. The young lady working the drive- thru was patient & pleasant. But my meal was not up to par as it has been in the past. The chicken tenders were so small compared to those I'd had before, & my biscuit was missing. I was also disappointed that they had removed the mac-&-cheese from the menu, & that there are no longer options for the sides with chicken combos.

The food was good but the cashier put my hotdog in the bag standing on its side. It was in a Styrofoam container so guess what happened to all my chili and onions... That's right, they all ran to one end. Lol. Oh well, maybe next time.

There was some young guys hanging around inside the restaurant playing music one of them had a shirt on saying he loved a picture of machine guns kind of ghetto if you ask me. Then the server was supposed to give us a chicken club combo and a chicken sandwich grilled she gave us both club sandwiches. They never seem to hear what you tell them you want they just put in the register whatever they want to give you. The Tomato was green as grass on my sandwich. Not the greatest that's for sure but it filled us up.Parking: Plenty of parking for many cars in the parking lotWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair acceptable and they also have tables for the handicap with wheelchair pictures on them

If you live in Hertford you know that when it comes to fast food, Hardee’s and McDonald’s are the only two options. The McDonald’s here is sorry so my family chooses Hardee’s even though it’s more expensive. The employees are usually nice but you get the grouchy cashier every now and then. The food is ok - usually always hot. There is almost always a long line meaning you don’t want to come here on your lunch break.

Service was pleasant and professional. Seemed to be well staffed yet one person taking orders, running the register, and distributing the food. Wait to order and get food was long and extensive. Onion rings were overcooked and a lil burnt, but burgers were good.

I guess it's official I'm a glutton for punishment. Placed an online order, in an effort to increase the possibility of receiving my order correctly. Not only was the food I ordered incorrect, the sauces I had chosen were mere suggestion, instead of an actual choice. Also optional items would include: napkins, straws, the correct flavor of beverage...Update: Decided to give the place a try again. Not only was my order completed incorrectly, but the drive through line wrapped all the way around the building so I was unable to actually exit the line after receiving my order. What a nightmare.Maybe tonight was a fluke... I was in the drive through line for over an HOUR! I FINALLY make to the window and the lady was like... "What was your order again?" I can not believe it! She didn't even send my order to the kitchen when I ordered it at the speaker. "I'm really sorry but I forgot to put your order in...?... Um could you pull up and we'll get it to you ASAP!" At this point I'm hopeful, she really sounded sorry for the mistake. So I pull forward. Another 25 minutes go by and the only thing I can think of is the quote, "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me." Was the food hot or fresh or well prepared? NO! Please drive by this Hardee's and go anywhere else. It would have been faster to go to the grocery store buy the ingredients and hire someone to cook it for you.

The wait is usually 15 to 30 minutes per getting in line...2nd> Drive thru is the second folks to get their orders, BEFORE INSIDE CUSTOMERS, we MUST WAIT... The wait is usually 15 to 30 minutes per getting in line...3rd> FINALLY US INSIDE Customers will get our turn and half the time, the register person will get the order WRONG or we get SHORTED and half to come back.If you have a few HOURS???I highly recommend ANY Hardee's ! ! !

I was going to place an order in the drive-through I didn’t hear what the (long-time) staff member said over the intercom. I started saying my order, then I was yelled at by him to stop ordering. I did not feel welcomed I didn’t feel as though there was no reason in continuing the order at that point. So I left. This is not the first time I’ve been treated rudely at this location but it will be the last.

Took 20 mins to get 3 hot dogs and another 10 mins for 2 milkshakes. There were only 2 other customers in the place. Hot dogs had a slpash of chilli.

The food was fresh. Service was good. Under the circumstances I appreciate the employees who work and most likely don't have the choice. And had to make the hard decision to take risks to take care of their needs. And if they can smile at the person they are serving they are a special breed. They deserve a thanks and they need to know we appreciate them. That's the experience I got.
