This store seems to be struggling or maybe just don't care. I don't like to post negative reviews just feel if I were looking for info I'd hope to find accurate & honest info. The store is cluttered and smells horrible. STRANGEST thing, this is the only store Ive gone in without antibac wipes offered for cart yet should be priority. I recommend taking allergy meds before going in. Schwooooo! I hope they're working on improvement.

I love this place. Friendly staff & actually has xxsm sizes that fit my little Chihuahua. She was the runt of the litter so even at 5 yrs old... I sometimes have to buy her cat stuff so they fit. Though I can always count on them to have sizes that fit her in their dog section.Update...Again just want to say how amazing this place is I've never been let down. The selection is always great. I've never had any issues.

Beware. Early shoppers are punished by the store only being partially lighted inside giving a dungeon-like atmosphere. Later in the day, all lights are turned on so customers can actually see the merchandise. Petco terms this nonsense as “eco-lighting”.

My best friend had her first appointment at Petco today and I am thrilled with the results! My dog Lita is a nervous girl but Kala took such great care of her and she looks great!! Will definitely recommend and return!

Dont underestimated the value of the markdown bin 😎clearance my fav. 2b sure .I got a bottle of dog shampoo for$2.50!And they price match so i saved on my dogs soresto collar 8months of no fleas no ticks no constant itching or baldspotsWoofwoofwoof this doggie loves her Petco.

We stopped in here because all the kids really wanted to see what they had in the way of animals for sale. There was actually a very interesting collection with several somewhat exotic pets. They had a very large selection of fish but several of the tanks were under observation and all of them needed some serious cleaning done. The guinea pigs were adorable and I really liked that they had a couple of turtles as well.You can always find a very wide selection of products for your pets and this location includes grooming.

Very helpful staff, great selection of healthy pet foods, grooming onsite, Vetco there for shots etc., call or visit site to see when! Took my long haired Chihuahua to groomer and she did a wonderful job my baby's hair was shining and silky, smelled wonderful... highly recommend it!!!

Compared to other petcos, it's dark and cramped and the animals weren't as well taken care of as the other petcos I've been to. If you need crickets to feed your lizards, just know that this one also won't sell you many crickets so if you need crickets, go to a different place. If you have baby beardies or something, you need quite a few crickets weekly and this just isn't the place for that. Petsmart will always give enough for a few weeks but this one will only give you enough for a few days so it's not worth trying. Their superworms were decent but many of the mealworms I got were already deceased so I wouldn't recommend those. Basically, I would go somewhere else to get any lizard items or fish.

The state of the aquatics section is absolutely unacceptable. The entire wall of tanks is murky brown from filthy water. Many tanks are so disgusting that it's almost impossible to see inside.Petco usually has some measure of standards. This one had me leaving while shaking my head in disgust.

First picture is day before taking him to be groomed. Suppose to have hair cut, nails trimmed, and ears washed. When I arrived 2 hours later to pick him up he looked the exact same (which is second picture) minus the eye trim. She said she cut his nails, gave a Sani cut because he was scared of clippers but did his nails and ears. I don’t believe she did anything besides cut around his feet and eyes. He gets a bath every Saturday and chases my vacuum for fun and loves the hair dryer etc. Waste of time and money. She could of still least cut his nails!

The manager ( a woman, don't know her name) is very knowledgeable and every time I go there she makes me feel like i made the right choice signing up for vital care. She seems excited that I saved money on my cats food. We live in mills river but we always make the small drive to come to this petco.

We found an unexpectedly strong source of aquatic life knowledge in one employee, a young man, who helped my son and I (very patiently, I might add) make the "tough decisions" on choosing fish and plants, etc. when it came to setting up his newish 5 gal. tank. I don't remember your name, Pet Store Hero, but in an era of know-nothing apathetic retail employees, you were both noted and appreciated. I hope PetCo knows it, too!

After months of staffing issues and no groomer, they finally hired one. Called me several times to bring my dog back in. Worst decision. Showed up and the new groomer is the rudest human being I’ve ever encountered. How are you that angry and rude and work with animals? Do not bring your pets here to be groomed. Will never be back. I took my dog and left.

Waited 2 weeks for grooming appointment. Then waited 30 minutes in store for groomers who were too busy talking and appeared to be too busy to groom dogs at all. Groomers also too busy to answer phone while waiting for scheduled appointment in the store. This place is a ridiculous waste of time. Incompetent.

Hard to navigate, hard to go back, didn't nake corrections, everything difficult & I had to redo order several times. And both times I ordered they dud not give me my discounts. Worst online experiences I ever had.

I called the Petco store to place an order for a curbside pickup. I wanted to be sure sure all would go well when a friend picked up my order. I believe the manager's name was Cameron. This has been a few weeks ago. The manager assured me she would make sure things worked well. She was very kind and professional. And she did a great job. Thanks so much !!

Fish tanks are dirty, lights on some tanks weren’t turned on. Same thing with the exotic pets. Lizards tanks had piles of their own feces everywhere and overall it was just gross. One of the bigger hamsters didn’t have the adequate sized exercise disk and it was sad to see. It kept going to the sides of his tank and kept clawing on the glass sides.Things were everywhere in the aisles and overall it wasn’t a pleasant experience. Don’t think I’ll be coming back.
