Now that the weather is cooling, I needed another option than washing my Dog outside in a Kiddie Pool. I found this nearby option and decided to give it a try.I have driven by Pet Source for the last 9 years, and finally had the opportunity to go inside. I was immediately greeted by a gentleman & asked if it was my first time there to use the Dog Wash Station. I was met back there and shown where everything was, and told about water temp.Large and small Towels are outside the room to choose from.Aprons are provided if wanted. They will help keep the front dry, just not your arms. I think when Winter comes, I will wear a waterproof jacket.Shampoos are at each of the three Tub Stations. I was looking for an unscented one, but only saw chemically perfumed ones. I was prepared with my own Organic Pet Shampoo.There is one Drying Station. There are pull-out steps to get larger dogs on the platform.I found the set-up fairly easy to use. I really liked that I no longer have to bend over, or kneel to wash my Dog. It is so much easier to stand and have him at the correct height. I used the Tub Mat that was provided to keep my Dog from slipping being cleaned. Rubber grips are on the tiled steps. This is very necessary and appreciated to keep my wet Doodle from slipping when exiting the Tub.The water was warm enough. It does not get hot, so there is no chance of burns for either party.The only part I found mildly challenging was trying to hold my Doodle with one hand & the dryer nozzle in the other. After awhile, it gets really awkward to hold.But, overall, I found the Self Dog Wash to be what I need. I will continue to be a customer and do recommend it!

This review is for the owner. I have never felt so uninvited, uncomfortable in a store at Hendersonville as I did today. 6/19/23 @ approximately 3:45pm both of your female employees were very rude and unfriendly to say the least. My girlfriend and I left because of their rude comments and how they presented them to me. I was merely looking at the 2 birds with my girlfriend as one walked by and then the other followed up with her comments. I'll never return because of their inability to provide a warming atmosphere to us, a possible customer.

Wonderful locally-owned pet store. They are so knowledgeable about the brands of food. They carry nothing but trust-worthy, ingredient conscious foods and treats. Going here is like visiting with friends. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable.Their selection of pet goods, treats and gear is outstanding. They stick gluten-free, grain-free, high protein, low protein, fresh and so many more varieties. The prices are fair and they offer a loyalty program that rewards you a 13th bag of food after buying 12. There is always someone to carry your purchase to your car and they offer delivery as well. They offer thee least expensive store engraved collar tags anywhere.Even after moving 15 miles away, we still make a monthly trek there for our dog food and smiles.

Good variety of pet food. Lots of natural, grain-free brands to choose from. Staff are always friendly and helpful. They will now deliver w/in 10 miles for orders over a certain amount, which is a great service. They have frequent buyer cards for many pet food brands as well.

Great advice and everything you need!Highly recommend for quality products and advice.I went to the vet and got prescriptions for my poor pup who was carsick but their practical advice to feed her breakfast in the car solved the problem in 2 days!There is a self serve dog wash that seems like a great idea too!

I love this store, I didn't buy anything for now but their customer service is wonderful, the gentleman who attended to us was very polite and informative. He made us very comfortable and imparted some personal experiences regarding pet birds. In short it's a nice store to go for your pet stuff.

I have a 50 lb husky and can't wash him well enough at home. This place made it so much easier for me and its cheap. They have the soap and a strong sprayer. The tub was big enough. I didn't like that the dryer only had cold air. Maybe there is a good reason why dogs can't have hot air, I don't know. The people were nice there. I will continue to wash my dog there.

Took one of my pups to Pet Source for a much needed bath. The store is BIG with lots of goodies everywhere. Rio had his nose into every bin possible! The bathing room offers 3 nice tubs, shampoo and conditioner, grooming supplies, towels ,and even a dryer! The water pressure was awesome too. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It was easy to find for my first time there. You get 10%off of purchases when you bathe your dog on the same day. 6th bath is FREE! Can't beat that.

The owner and staff are extremely knowledgeable on the products they sell. Very friendly and remember names. Your not just a number. They only carry good healthy products. Not all brands.They always want to help you out with your packages.I highly recommend Pet Source.

They were so nice. I was in the parking lot 10 minutes before they opened but I think they saw me and unlocked the door. So sweet. They were very gracious when I asked if it was okay for me to come in early. I was in a huge hurry so it helped me so much!
