What an amazing historic building that's been held in time and reclaimed into the best general store with just a little bit of everything and unique gifts for anyone. The upper level is all kinds of camping equipment. They've kept the best of how it all started. A must visit location in Hendersonville.

Always love coming to Mast General Store!!! They have a great selection of old timey items, and it is always a pleasure to shop here!!! Thanks for all the fun and interesting memories!!! The drink machine that is like it used to be in old general stores is so nostalgic!!! I remember coming here as a kid and getting root beer!!! There is something about a soda from a glass bottle that just tastes better!

I had very good luck shopping for souvenirs at this store! They have literally about every souvenir that you could want. While a large amount of the store felt commercialized there were some good local picks.

I'm a fan of this place now. Bought some shoes from them online on a Sunday and they arrived the following Tuesday before 10am. The shoes came from Hendersonville packed nicely and in good condition, so shout out to this location. Great price when I bought them and super fast shipping. I really appreciated the invoice folder that was included. Amazing shopping experience, thank you!

I always enjoy shopping here. The clothing brands are always high quality. Love it that they carry LL Bean now in limited quantities. General store stays busy. If you are looking for good quality items for outdoors, this is a good place to visit.

The store itself has a lot of really cool and useful items but the staff followed me and my family around the entire time we were there and anytime I looked up one of them was staring at us like they thought we were going to steal something. It was obvious enough that my mother and law mentioned it as soon as we walked out. We were paying customers. Stop treating your paying customers like criminals. I won't be back.

The Mast General Store in Hendersonville is so cute and quaint. They don't just sell clothing, candy and toys, they sell nostalgia. Everyone has always been friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend a visit when on this cute Main Street.

Great store with old time candy bins. Lots of candies I haven’t seen in quite some time. They also had nostalgic sodas as well. Good selection of T-shirts and sweatshirts. They also had items for your home and a few toys.

Love this store! Anything you want you can get here! Our favorite section is the candy. So many old candy selections from back in the day. If you are in Hendersonville, this store is a must stop.

There is a little bit of everything in the store. Always pleased to find penny candies from a half a century ago and also plastic airplane model kits. Upstairs, they have a very extensive selection of camping equipment and camping and hiking clothing. Expert help as always Close at hand. Parking is difficult at best.

Love this general store. Has alot of hiking clothes and gear, but also a big candy section with good prices. Has chocolate covered nuts and coffee beans, recognizable brands like Yorks and Snickers, and the weird old stuff you forgot they still make like candy cigarettes. This is really a fun store!

Really cool store that will have you searching through things you haven't seen in many years, at least if you're as old as I am. The biggest issue here is finding parking to be able to access the store, because it can certainly be a pain depending on what time of day you're trying to get there. It's a popular place and a popular town, so just be prepared to have to ride around a little bit. Looking for a parking place if it looks busy!

Great little store .. My wife and I stopped in as we toured the beautiful little town on our Anniversary road trip thru the mountains . It's much quieter than Ashville amd lots to see amd do .The store had an awesome selection of clothes ,camping food candy you name it . Really a cool place to stop in and shop for a bit

Great stop in downtown Hendersonville. The whole downtown area was very nice for walking and visiting all the different shops. Mast General Store has unique items you most likely won't find anywhere else. All kinds of candy, including some of the old ones you can't find anymore. Employees are all super nice and helpful. Always a great experience.
