My great granddaughter had to potty. Upon entering the bathroom the odor was horrible. Feces all over floor wall on commode stopped up. Absoutley filthy. I am going to contact the health department.

I would give zero stars if I could!I am sitting in the parking lot at 730am waiting for them to open at 800am. Not bothering anyone. I had been there a total of 5 minutes. When this guy comes out and says we're not open, I said I know and then he rudely says to me, you can't sit here and wait for me to open.I will never spend another dime at Dollar General!!!! That was one of the stupidest things I've ever heard, I can't just sit in my car bothering no one and wait. It wasn't like I had spent the night in the parking lot.I am sure I just ran into my first Male Karen

Here lately the store has been fairly clean and uncluttered. Employees are friendly and helpful, especially the older gentleman. He's always been pleasant, helpful and hard-working when I've been into this DG.

I usually buy greeting cards only but was so happy to see the stores “new” image of cleanliness and order. What a wonderful shopping experience! Cashier very kind and pleasant. Highly recommend!

Its a lot better than it use to be. Back when it wasn't a good place to shop the workers kept the aisles were blocked with stock that needed put up. Now you can walk down every aisle and shopfor what your looking for

My wife and I love to go there and our kids the customer service is outstanding they treat you like family we go in there probably 23 times a day LOL but most definitely is a great place to shop the grading is awesome the crew is great care asked for more and they always have what we’re looking for even what our kids are looking for lol

Nice enough staff. Blared heavy metal music one night. Not a big deal, but heavy metal isn't really good shopping music and is better for when you're driving. There are almost ways piles of stock blocking the aisles and so it's annoying to walk around them. I don't think I'm allowed to ride the stock carts around the store either...

It was ok. I would like shopping better if they were better organized. They have problems keeping the shelves straight and it's a little frustrating when things are just thrown on the shelves and you have to rummage through stuff to see if they have what your looking for.

This store has come Along way. The new manager is doing her best with what staff your allotted. If you've been there, workwise, you know what I mean. These dollar general stores, people don't understand why there messy or low stock. It's from higher-ups giving you maybe 200 hrs a week. But, you have 3 full time people and 2 pt. But you can't hire someone for 10.00hr. They might start you out at 8.50! Then give you 18 hrs one week 22 the next.

Messy,unorganized, products low but staff personable. I haven't been in but one Dollar General in Pisgah Forest that is clean and well maintained. All these stories reputations are the exact same very messy and staff under paid.

This store should be shut down and all employees fired. It is a total disgrace to a retail business. The store is a pigsty; aisles are crammed with merchandise in boxes and items are in total disarray on shelves. The staff has no customer service training and could care less if they provide service. I have seen ten clients lined up to check out and the only employee is in the back of the store. Hard to believe a business could be run so shoddy and unprofessional in today's competitive retail environment.

I love this store don't know why people keep saying the customer service is bad because it has always been good for me and as for the store looking like a big mess well that is true but it is not the employees fault I have been in there and watched the employees try and clean up after customers and try to take care of the register it's hard when your understaffed. But people are just rude I watch one couple Bing their kids in and they just tore the store up ripping things off the shelf throwing things across the store and they parents didn't do a thing. And all the employees could do is watch and try and clean up cuz even if they did confront them it wouldn't do any good they would either lose their job over it or cause a bigger seen And have more of a mess to clean up

A worker there was actually the manager himself and he was really nice, talking about his hope for the store and asking about my day while he checked me out. Very nice store, customer oriented, clean, friendly.

I normally try to avoid making reviews like this but this has to be said. The aisles are covered with boxes. The guys restroom was blocked off with janitorial supplies, and when I asked about it, the employee said just use the girls! He told me he would stand outside the door and make sure no girls came in. When I came back out, he was nowhere to be seen. When I walked in the door the employees were NOT trying to clean up, they were sitting around the cash register chatting. The place is an absolute wreck, and I will never darken it's doors again. This place should be closed, no kidding.

It's a Clean, Cheap, go to place for all those little odds n ends you need with out having to go to Walmart! I buy all my cleaning supplies here...much cheaper! And my Daughter who is 12 always finds things she wants.....they sell craft items, make up. Some Grocery, cleaners, baby items etc.

Dirty could not get down isles stuff off shelve on floor and they did not even put it back cloths everywhere not even on hangers it's like they just threw them at the place they should be we will never go back to that one again. I will say the cashier was very helpfull raiting 1 for cashier

The employees need to be more nicer. The store had stuff down the rows and we had to move the carts to see what was on the shelf. They were standing up front doing nothing. We come there to shop not to work for what we wanted to buy.

Used to work at this store, had a great manager and asm. Me working at that store almost a year, knowing how it ran. Plenty of others who knew as well. Then a new District Manager comes in thinking he knows how to run everything and treats us all like we were stupid and basically run us all off. Its sad how much work we all put into the store only for it to go down hill so fast. If only the DM Eric could get off his high horse, I'd go back and help fix it if they let me. He won't hire any of us back because it wouldn't be ran "his way". Yeah well good luck.

It's gone downhill so far, that it somehow made it to the Marianna's trench. It's terribly understaffed, the floor is blocked with overflow shipment that the DM won't let them put out, and everyone tries to pretend like everything's fine. As a proud, former lead Sales associate of this store, it breaks my heart to see my baby get destroyed like this.

Meh.. I'm a local, and shop, or shopped here regularly. But service has steadily declined, and after the rearranging of their store, everything feels cluttered and claustrophobic. (And often is). Its out of stock, messy, hard to shop in, and many of the staff, though not all, are rather rude.

Let's be honest... dirtiest dollar general around hendersonville. Always low staffed, hard to find what your looking for because stuff is just thrown on shelfs and laying around. The cashier always walks away from the register to do other things so it's a waiting game to check out. Moral of the story is this store needs a major make over in a bad kinda way. From the store to the staff.

On a truck day, the aisles are almost impassable and customers sometimes have to move the handtrucks in order to get by. It can be very messy since they don't have enough staff to get everything taken care of.

Great selection of atuff, much cheaper than other bigger grocery stores in area. I hit this place first for snacks and boxed items. Can't get everything here but I can definitely save money!

The store is always a mess and they almost always have one person on a register. My last vist was not at all a good one. 2 young men working and only one at a register while the other just stood at his back talking to him. I as well as about 10 other people wated for 20 min just to check out

Well stocked but crammed full of merchandise. Did have a $1.00 section which I liked. Staff seemed overwhelmed with trying to stock shelves and wait on customers.

ALWAYS a NASTY & DISORGANIZED store each time I have visited. Can't keep employees or managers. Store is TOO CROWDED & SMALL to hold all the inventory. BOXES are always in the aisles.This store looks like a tornado hit it on the inside.Lines are long.There's one male employee cashier who STINKS, never keeps up with his hygiene.I don't want him touching my stuff.

Not well stocked, the help isn't too helpful & a few are unkind n one us downright hateful n stinky⏬ I'm embarrassed for them. I go to the excellent DG's on Dana RD in Fletcher In Landrum SC. The one off Stoney Mtn & Mills River. Yeah. I miss this one. Its close to my family but...well Id rather drive a bit....

The pictures showing are def not of this store! This place was filthy. Trash all over the place that you could tell had been there for days given how much dust was accumulated on it. Clothes from the racks all over the floor and kicked under shelves. Will stick to the Family Dollar up the street.
