Back to 1 star. They got rid of self checkout and they have just one register open every time I’m there, so the line and wait is ridiculous. Their prices are actually not that low, especially compared to Aldi and Ingles, all they had going for them was the convenience of stopping at a store close to home and being in and out quickly, which they no longer have. If you have to close down your self checkout then at least keep two registers open.

Too bad it doesn't have a zero star option. They need to just go ahead and shut the store down and quit wasting everyone's time and money. The store shelves are always almost empty everytime I go in there and any food I've ever purchased has been expired with long expiration dates. It's honestly a poor excuse for a store. And everytime I did go in there I never see a store associate... have always had to use the self checkout cause there is never anyone behind the counter. The store is an absolute mess....

I don’t usually write reviews but…. I will say this… I love going to this dollar general but the past couple months they have NEVER been open when I go either due to short staff, stocking and sometimes it’s cash only. Which I get but on the other hand please have consistent hours and multiple ways to pay. That way your staff and customers are on the same page. Like just the other day I got off at 5pm thinking they closed at 7pm (because the last couple times the sign had said they closed at 7pm)and of course what happens??? They were closed. It’s just very frustrating trying to shop when you don’t know the hours the store is open or if they will even take your method of payment. I really hope they get people working and actually open up like the hours listed. I am almost at the point that I won’t shop there. Which is sad because it’s close to my house and convenient. Please just let us know when you are open and the hours you are actually open and please stick to it. I think the people of Dana would appreciate that.

This is a great location for a Dollar General and it provides good products for this community. However, management from Corporate needs to step it up and assist the store manager with the issues that have been on-going. I have contacted Corporate, enough already! Obviously, the store manager needs assistance. Those in charge who make decisions for this location need to do their job, as well, and it hasn't happened yet. I hope corporate takes their investment in this location seriously and shows up!

Love to shop at Dollar General! Will usually shop there first before heading to big box store. Great prices! I manage to shop right after a semi delivery so there's a bit of work navigating the aisles. The restrooms are clean but you do have to ask for a key. The clerks are wonderfully personable and eager to assist if needed. The young man recently hired is a delight and should be well received by the community. Great pricing and selection of store brand Keurig coffee and cocoa.

It is easy to get to from my home.With the new upgrades to this store I have found less reasons to drive to town.The bigger variety of food fresh and frozen is a wonderful thing!The comparative prices are realistic for the area.

Store is never open, so inconvenient, the store hours always change because they can’t keep workers. Always have things blocking isles, if I could leave a zero I would! This location is a sorry excuse for a store, I wouldn’t recommend going to this one to anyone! I’ll be driving the extra 10 min to go to another because this location always has an excuse or some other reason. Honestly need to shut this place down.

The staff at this store couldn't be any nicer if they tried. They are all so sweet and so helpful! It is packed full of stuff. The only downfall here is there isnt enough space for everything.

I love the managers of that store they are very nice and helpful and the store is clean and I love the fact that they carry my favorite coffee creamer ,and I like buying my cleaners and some foods from there.your Dana store associates deserve a nice raise because they help customers,and have never seen them be rude to anyone.Trust I have been in them all in Hendersonville and Dana store is my favorite.

The old manager Tammy Martin (Michael Austin Martins mom) was crazy and chased my Fiance through the parking lot and stood in front of her car and refused to let her leave because my baby refused to physically fight in the parking lot over personal reasons. Luckily she got fired and black listed. This store needs to be more careful about who they hire.

I love dollar general you get off work you need to go to Walmart for shampoo, soap detergent, dish detergent little other things but you're just to tired to walk that big store from one end to the other boom you go to dollar general get your items pay go to your car its not that simple at Walmart I GO TO THE DOLLAR GENERAL ALOT ANYMORE

So the quality has went way down so fast it boggles the mind! Not updating stick prices to reflect Weekly Circulars. Some of the help was downright hateful and unhelpful while the others are apoligetic and try to take up the slack/hate/ignorance!Last time they overcharged me. I paid with Credit. That hateful lady got mad at me for catching the mistake and shoves money in my hand. No register, no protocal, just bs. That shpulda went back on my card!I am very sorry to say I cannot back the following opinion any longer& with the ongoing problems at most all local@DollarGeneral retailers I am considering boycotting them altogether!:One if the best stores, selection, stock. I found so many things that I needed that they offer digital coupons on. So easy...sign up w/ your phone number, add you coupilons,@checkout, enter phone number and voila! Save!I found plenty of things I wanted, too. This store is nice & neat, clean & spacious with automatic doors.Maríannè was so kind. I appreciate helpful help! I do not spend $ where I am not well treated or disrespected. This was a wonderful experience! I hope it'll stay that way on future visits!

Customer service from Bettina was horrible. She was in office behind register with door open while 16 people waited to checkout. She finally opened a register only after customers started asking about self checks.

Could hardly get down the aisles crates in the middle and aisles was full of boxes on the floors and crates could of been pushed to the back not in the middle of the aisles I really like shopping there just need to straighting up some
