Is this place in the business of selling or collecting?? Seems like the latter to me. I am a seasoned thifter and this shops’ prices are close to retail for used goods. Everyday is 50%, but that doesn’t matter when all the prices are highly inflated for this “sale.” Pictured is a vintage coach purse that is scratched up. This same purse sells for $100 or less on eBay… On a positive note, this shop benefits a great cause & is very clean.

This thrift store has an excellent, well organized, selection of quality clothing, with a separate room for the Ladies Boutique. Fitting rooms are available. Six items are 50% off.

Great place but their stuff is Uber expensive and you can only go there on the 50% off days. And still at that it's very expensive.

Very nice staff, variety of items depending on what's donated. A little more pricey than other thrift stores, but clean and well organized makes it worth it. Sales on Fridays. I love helping our wonderful local Animal Humane Society as they are the best. I believe they close promptly at 4:30pm. Plenty of parking. You can bring donations here as well.

Some nice staff, very limited goods mostly overpriced. No restroom, no dressing rooms and no refunds. I won't buy clothes I can't try on or at least return after trying on at home. I get things are tight, but this place makes a fortune on used goods. It supports a good cause.

Nice selection and well organized. The employees were nice. There were quite a few things I wanted to buy but the prices were outrageous on most of the stuff. $24 for a small used wooden shelf and $8 for a little cardboard Halloween decoration just seemed ridiculous to me, especially since these items are given to the store for free. I feel like if they lowered the prices they would do much better.

I love, love, LOVE this place!! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!! They have truly great items.....all in great shape, and many items can be considered "upscale!!" The staff is always eager to help. They all volunteer and it's obvious they sincerely enjoy being there. The prices can't be beat! The first 5 or so items you purchase are 50% off regular price. I'm moving soon, and am sad to be losing this jewel of a store! I highly recommend dropping by here sometime.....it'll be worth it!!

Very clean store, staff is great BUT, prices are high unless you catch a sale item and return policy is ridiculous. Purchased an electrical item that did not work, had two days to return it, no exceptions. I never go to that area other than to go to their thrift store as it is so out of the way for me, so a two day return was not feasible. No store I know, especially thrift stores, have such a stringent policy.

I have often found nice things here for great prices. I saw another reviewer state that other thrift stores in town have better prices, but I have to disagree. I actually think BRHS is much better priced than several others in the area. Like any thrift store, you have to check often to find the best deals. ;-)

A fun place to shop! Workers and volunteers enjoy their work. Prices are a little high and they have outgrown the building because of furniture donations. But they have 50% off sales which help. We got a nice sofa for $40.

This store is very clean and orderly and they do have some very nice antique items, however many items are seriously over priced. For example they had a Gap dress for $18, even with 50% off the price it would have been $9, close to the new price at the Gap store. There were also Clark shoes for $34, a milk glass compote without the lid for $8... There are several other thrift stores in town who offer much better pricing. Many of the antique items are over priced as well. I would recommend for the people pricing the household items to do a eBay price check under sold listings in order to establish a fair market price at a thift store. I truly appreciate their cause, however this is a thrift store and most people expect thrift store prices when shopping at stores like this.

Extremely expensive for a second hand store. I am all about helping animals but please people shop here that are on budgets, trying to cut down on items in our landfills! To price a used Gevalia drip coffee pot at $25 is ridiculous. 4 small glass jars $8! I left. Saddened too.I witnessed a lot of elderly, I'm sure on a fixed income shopping. I also saw a lot keaving with no purchases

This is probably the cleanest thrift store I have ever visited! Even the dressing rooms are clean and roomy. Every time I go I just remember to pay attention to the current sale promotion - and so I have snagged some pretty sweet deals:)

This is the BEST thrift shop in Hendersonville and one of the BEST I've ever visited . . . and I visit lots of them! Clean, organized, good prices and "different sales" every time you walk in the door. AND the 'friendliest' volunteers you'll ever meet!!! If you like thrift shopping...you'll ENJOY LIFE while visiting this one! Tell them Marianne "The Hat Lady" sent you!

Nice place. Masks were not required. Some customers wore masks. Others did not respect personal space. Not the stores fault just saying it's not a good place to go if you are trying to practice social distancing.

Super nice thrift store with hella swanky items. Only downside is the prices. It's priced more like a fancy boutique than a thrift store. Some of the things were marked the same as if you'd bought them new in a store. Still though it's worth a plunder. We found a couple nice things and the pet section is well stocked.

Clean & neat; pleasant staff. Items for sale in good condition, no junk! I donate all my "good" items there...it is a great way of helping the animals.

First of all, every time I walk in this place I get a very rude and unprofessional attitude, I’m over it. I come in about every six months hoping the staff had changed and hope to God the atmosphere is better but it gets worse. Extremely overpriced for stuff that is given to them for free. I work with food drives to support the blue ridge humane society pretty regularly and I love them to death, I don’t know where things went wrong with their thrift store but it need to get handled bc I’m not the only that feels the way I do. I’ll be praying for them. God bless

Upscale thrift store with high-end merchandise. Sets of fine china, crystal, collectables, art a a boutique are the key features. There is also a nice section of pet items like leashes, harnesses, food bowls, etc

Waaaaaayyyyyyy over priced. There is no reason to charge $42 for a pair of Keen shoes when Goodwill charges $4. More power to you for trying to help animals but this stuff is free and dontated to you. You’re charging way too much money. You would sell more items if you charged reasonable prices and help more animals. In and out, this stuff is sitting in the shelf’s longer because you’re being greedy. Won’t be back unfortunately because I can find USED stuff way cheaper at Goodwill and Salvation Army. 😒😒😒😒

Went when they were having a special sale & got some bird feeders & a collectable Teddy Bear dirt cheap! Staff was very helpful & friendly & they strived to complete transactions quickly. As to those who said their items were too expensive, please keep in mind it is a fund raising business that, as an animal lover, I am happy to support. I plan to re-visit & recommend doing business with them.

I had the choice to drop items off at this Humane shop, Goodwill or Salvation army. I brought many really great items here which included four blankets. One of the clerks who received, the blankets, exclaimed, "these stink." I beg to differ, they were laundered, clean and had been stored in my closet with my clothing. I made the wrong choice for donation. Sadly, this unkind remark in my presence will influence my future donations.

This place is Fabulous!! I come here often. I came here today looking for something for an outdoor wedding in a few weeks. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I found it what I wanted. I will be back. I have another Wedding in December .
