Absolutely love Belk, and am a long-time shopper! The sales are fabulous, but finding an open checkout register and standing in long lines has become like an old-school Kmart experience unfortunately. Hoping there will be a return to the workforce, soon. These employees are working so very hard!

The cashiers at the Dunkin Donut shop on highway 64 near Walmart in Hendersonville need to go back to school to learn to add and subtract. Count your change and don't try to explain they are incorrect, they don't understand.

I do like Belks, quality clothes at reasonable prices if you catch the sales, which change daily sometimes. Very understaffed but the employees they have all seem friendly and helpful. I wonder if they're going to remain in business, especially after Steinmart closed, as usually the store is pretty empty at night when I go. Online shopping is easy as well. This new season, though, I question their buying choices. Some clothes and bedding items are downright ugly and archaic looking. Baby and children clothing are WAY too pricey and not much choices, they need to market other brands besides their over priced owned brand. I would never buy baby or children sized clothes there. I am disappointed with their summer clothes this year, including shoes. But who needs more clothes anyway when it's so hot? Terrible bathing suit choices for women, men not so bad. Fine jewelry is too pricey as well, even on sale. Sometimes you can find a gem in clearance, though. Lol.

It was my first time n Belks for a while. I am glad I went in. Everything was so clean and spread out. I could easily see and find exactly what I was looking for. I had a great conversation with the cashier and am so glad I stopped by. I will never go to the Asheville location again. Great prices and great values..look forward to the next time.

I'd give them 5 stare if their inventory wasn't so depleted. I hope that changes soon because what I saw I like. Good looking clothes. Knowledgeable and friendly employees. Look for a man named Bruce if shopping in the men's section. He's got you covered. They have some awesome sales happening at the time of this post as well.

Belk didn't send me my new card to replace the one I had. So it was so confusing when I bought things today. Said my card was declined. So had to go through almost 25 minutes to get out of there and people was in line behind me. How embarrassing for me. 3 cashiers taking care of me and it took that long when one of the cashers could help the others. This was over a Belk card that should of been sent to me. I love belks but it wasn't fun today.

This is the worst Belks experience I have ever in my entire life. I have spent my whole 38 years shopping at Belks. My family spends a lot of money at Belks each year. We do our Christmas shopping, birthday shopping special occasion shopping, we do all of our clothes shopping at Belks and I never in my life imagined that I would be treated as if I stole from them. For starters I was followed throughout the whole entire store the whole entire time I was shopping now granted I’m OK with that because I’m not in there stealing anything that’s not my MO. But what I am not OK with, is when you have an employee following me out the exit making a comment insinuating that I stole something from their store after I just made $100 purchase. I then stopped and asked what she said and all she done then was shook her head and continued on to walk to her vehicle. I told her that I did not steal anything from their store and that was really rude and got in my car and drive off. Now this will be the last time I ever shop at this Belks ever again if I ever shop at a Belks ever again period. That’s how disrespected I feel. I will be contacting someone higher up about this because no one should ever have to feel how I’m feeling right now!!!! Esp after making a 100 dollar purchase in this store.

Great place to shop and save! They are cleaning all carts, offering hand sanitizer. You are not allowed to try on clothes right now but you can bring them back if they don't fit with a receipt.

A very tiny Department store with a limited selection. Primarily focuses upon female shoppers. The quality of the product is usually very good. There was always a sale of some kind in progress. Despite the store being so small, it’s still a good place to shop. Recommend.

The belks here in Hendersonville is really good. They have a good selection. But not as good as the one in Charlotte. They have very little staff to help you but they are nice and that's what matters. I only go to places have nice people. Without the people you don't have a business at all.

The ladies department seems to carry clothing and shoes for people over 75. This is really disappointing. Don't old people want to look updated and feel youthful? The buyer for this store is simply out of touch.

Laura was the most helpful sales rep that I have ever had at Belk. The reps are usually very nice but she was exceptional in being able to help me especially since I'm challenged with vision difficulties.Everything is moved around now and they've added more sections. It was a bit difficult to locate things, but they had wonderful current selections nicely arranged clearly marked with the sizes.

Stood at perfume counter for more than 1/2 an hr & no one came to help the lady who was totally busy with several of us waiting for that long!!! Then the Estee Lauder I needed was not in stock!!! They need help!

So i had to pick up an online order for my mom. She ordered one item but was somehow charged for two. I told the lady at the front of the store how she only wanted one item. And not two. She told me i would have to return it at the customer service station. Well i already had a bunch of returns to do so didnt think much of it. Anyway. One of the other items my mom had me bring to return was somehow over looked and they never gave me my money for returning the item but yet she kept the item. On the item that was just picked up in store today they kept telling me the return balance was $0.00 but my mom paid like $9.13 for the item. I have run back and forth from customer service line to my car to sit and wait for the store manager to get off lunch break so my moms card can be refunded what she paid. They have the receipt of proof of purchase as I JUST PICKED IT UP FROM THEIR STORE TODAY!! i went back in to confront the lady i wasnt refunded my money for the dress they kept i wished to return. Lord knows how many other people have been ripped off like that. While in doing so i asked the lady how much longer until the manager gets back so we can just give me the refund. I dont see how they cant refund it back to the card it was purchased from when clearly they had the dang receipt on the bag cause i just picked it up! She proceeds to say well i can give you a gift card for the amount. No i do not want a gift card. Id like my money back. So here i sit. Waiting for this lady to come back from her awful long lunch break because apparently shes the only one who can refund me. I do NOT RECOMMEND this belk store at all. Last time i ever step foot inside this store. Thank you Belk for making me waste about 2 hours of MY valuable time waiting for a refund that was JUST PICKED UP FROM YOUR STORE TODAY.

I want to like Belk but.... Unless you get the clothes on sale they are pricey. Last year I bought a lot of summer pants and wind up throwing them away at the end of the season. They were cheaply made and stretched out a lot.
