I got a meat omelette! So good! The biscuits are homemade and fresh. Great food, nice staff and an amazing owner!! I bit my biscuit before taking a picture. :-)

The atmosphere was not welcoming at all. The cashier was very rude. Every time I asked her a question, and she gave short answers she made me feel like it was a problem for me coming to spend my money at this establishment and then I was given the wrong order. Don’t think I’ll be visiting again anytime soon. The one in louisburg North Carolina is way better.

I have patronized this restaurant for several years. Even after getting my order wrong at times or having to wait an exceptional amount of time for a simple single order. I visited yesterday and placed my order. After more than 20 minutes I was still waiting but half of my order was already prepared and cold. The staff, cashier, cook and another worker, all African American females, were SOOOOOOOO loud & ghetto, I could not believe the conversations that they were having at this volume. I also witnessed the cashier ask a patron, who unfortunately looked disheveled and unclean to use his unsanitary bare hands to open a glass coffee creamer dispenser for her. I could not in any capacity even wait for my food because they were so loud and very unprofessional. I asked for a refund, never to return this time. The staff needs training on professionalism, customer awareness and restaurant etiquette. They were beyond GHETTO!

The food is good. But I have ordered way over 10 times and they have completed made every one of my orders wrong, EVERY TIME!!! It don't matter what time or day I place an order. It always be wrong. It have happened so much to the point I feel like they are doing it on purpose, and I hope that's not the case. But then again they be having the order written right on the brown bag and my order will still be wrong. I'm at the point where I am exhausted of always having to come back and have my order fix, even though I order the same exact thing every time. I know for a fact the workers get tired of always having to fix my orders. It is ridiculous, and I will not be coming back just to save the trouble for me and them.

What's not to like? Good Food, Polite and prompt service, and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend this place. Fluffy home-made style biscuits. Tomatoes tasted surprisingly good considering it was late December.

If you are ever in the area, then you MUST stop by and grab one of these amazing biscuits. My personal recommendation would be to order a bacon sunrise (bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit) and a cup of butter grits. The food will leave you wanting more. Trust me. If not for the food, the staff always greet you with a smile and the service is very quick for how busy they are. When you go, tell em “Red” sent ya ;-)

Let me tell you about the worst breakfast experience I have ever had.... me and my husband usually eat here an have never had to much trouble but today was different. We both ordered the same thing... bacon platter with scrambled eggs, grits and toast. After receiving our food we realized the grits were undercooked. We asked for a new side of grits. The server at the counter asked for our entire tray to be handed back as if they were going to scrap the old grits an give us new ones on the SAME tray. While my other food on the tray gets cold. After asking what I had to give my whole tray back the lady asked did I want it separated???? I'm no professional but I have the common sense enough to know that once food leaves the kitchen it should not be returned to the kitchen and handed back to the customer. That is beyond unsanitary and after spending almost $20 for breakfast we expected fresh grits for breakfast. This will be my last time at sunrise and hopefully for future customers they receive sanitary service. Not only did we receive so called new food we recieved the same type of grits we complained about in the first place. I don't know any human being that has to stop eating their food to hand you back for one correction. This place is deeply in need of correct management because that is the worst thing you can do in a restaurant. Be blessed.

This is a great mom and pop eatery for those on vacation. The locals seemed to go daily, often enough for the staff to know their names. It was a wonderful place. Wonderful people. Wonderful food. Highly recommend.

Don't get me wrong. The food is good but when I walked in to order my food the employees were not wearing mask those cook are talking and fixing the customers food. Spit fumes comes out of your mouth when you talk. COVID -19 is real I have friends that have the virus. People are dying from it. I pray no one gets sick because of you all not mandating wearing mask like the governor said. Do you all not care about your family members let alone your customers. Money isn't everything. God help Sunrise Biscuit realize that corona virus can affect them also.

Ahh we love to come here always so thankful since work starts at about 3am for us. It's amazing that they open super early and it's such good food! I especially recommend the biscuits and grits!

There biscuits sometimes are not fresh , if they have fresh biscuits them the place will be on point .. Fresh eggs and not them hard fried ones with cheese stuck on it.. They really need to make everything fresh and stop being lazy .. Sometimes the food takes like its been cooked the day before..

I stop in to pick up breakfast 3-4 times a week on my way to work. Just so happens today 3-30-21 I stop in for a scrambled egg and cheese platter with my sides.This young lady named "NIKITA" ,really deserves a raise,raise,raise!!!She was working the back,front,side,answering phone etc.Her memory is extraordinarily way better than mine.If I were there ppl would get wrong orders frfr.Give "NIKITA"a well deserved raise Sun Rise.
