This stores assistant manager Rocks! I called to ask if they could possibly make some kind of a donation for a neighbor of mine! He said absolutely! I have worked retail for most of my life. I kinda know a little! The first store I called said No. He did not want to put himself out there. It’s Christmas Eve! It is a state of mind. Do you want to be known as kind, giving and a listener or No! The second store chose charity! That to me is the best example! Thank you Food Lion on Garnet Street! Only give this food Lion a three stars because of the employees that they have working and also because of the drug activity outside in the parking lot and also the feeling that you may get robbed just by sitting in your car too long outside. It's in a rough part of town right behind. The place is north Henderson projects basically run down the lapidated houses and the lower income people living back there. God bless them but it's not about them. It's about the drug addicts and the drug dealers all around this place. Be careful

You can never count on the deli to be open when you need meat / cheese cut. Always blame lack of hours... well maybe if you kept the deli open you would get more customers and make more money to pay employees.

We shop everyday for food to carry to the lake. Couldn't afford to operate our camp without them. We support them because they support us. They donated 100 cooler bags for our summer feeding program. Thanks Food Lion. Vance County Learning Center loves you.

I have been going to Food Lion for a long time but their groceries are expensive. I believe they can and should do better for us this way. This and every Food Lion store is well maintained. I have begun to notice that they carry foods and fruits and vegetables year around. The deli has some great sandwiches and bread and is now my favorite part to shop.Hopefully Food Lion will step out and and provide better prices. Thanks for it all, but we need a "ShoopRX" Card to find better prices.

My neighborhood store. I like getting my non perishable food there as well as fresh fruit and vegetables. I only get meats if they're on sale.

Typical grocery store. Produce section was really small but the store was overall organized and clean. The cashier was polite and other staff seemed friendly so that a plus.
