This Food Lion is located just off Hwy39 in Henderson NC. A 5 Star Service to the community that filled with the goodies 😀. Our visit there was a need for chips before hitting the road back to Virginia. This is a favorite stop in times pass. The facility is clean and there are plenty of products to choose from. 👌 The Associates are welcoming and always asked if you found what you were looking for. Yippee Go By! Well, I got run. The employees are courteous and quick. They talk with customers as they check out the purchases. They are quick to help with searches and lifting. The entrances and parking areas are not always cleared of carts.

As soon as you walk through the door, you'll be walking into one of the cleanest and well-organized stores in the chain. It's clean, well kept, and brightly lit. The aisles are are always fully stocked and there's no dust on the product like you might see in other grocery stores. The meat is packaged well, looks fresh, and that aisle has a wholesome appearance. The produce is always fresh and tasty as well. The dairy aisle always has someone stocking, so you know it has to be fresh as well. The staff make you feel like you're a king, and you feel like you're their only customer. A bonus in this store is that it has a pharmacy, and the 2 pharmacists are always on top of the prescriptions, and work to get us the lowest cost. I gave this store a 5 star only because 10 wasn't an option.

Great store. Excellent customer service. I just recently had to have open heart double bypass surgery and the cashier noticed that I was having a hard time and immediately came to the rescue. I really appreciate that because I was not supposed to be lifting over 8lbs. or bending or pulling etc. I had only had the surgery 2 weeks prior to that but I had to go to the grocery store. Once again thanks for the wonderful customer service at the register as well as the bag boy who took my bags to my car.

I have had very few problems here. This is my neighborhood Food Lion and I enjoy shopping here. When there is an issue, I speak to management and it's taken care of promptly. I love shopping here on days when they're baking cookies. One time I mentioned how good it smelled and they actually gave me a cookie free.

I REALLY WISH the cashier's would learn the BASICS of bagging groceries. Canned goods do NOT go in the same bag as a loaf of bread or with eggs. Potato chips do not go in with bloody meat or ketchup. Also I've never seen people who work in the public with such nasty attitudes. I worked for Food Lion for years when I was in school & there is NO WAY we would have a job if we had the attitudes then that they have now! Several people in my family were store, front end & grocery managers & NEVER allowed the things I see now when I grocery shop. I dread grocery shopping which is why I order as much as I can from other companies online & will continue to & hopefully eventually will not have to go into the store at all! From the way the employees dress, disrespect customers, so slow in ringing up groceries (they literally have 2 speeds slow & stop)

Went to this Food Lion located on Andrews Ave an this store didn't give the adequate discount on my Gold Peak tea they were 2/$5 an I purchased 4 which meant $1.25 off them. Instead they rang up @ 6.18 for two so I went back an took picture to show the manager she got mad,but I had proof. I was owed $2.68 ppl check your receipt & take pictures

The food is always fresh and appearance is appealing. The employees are always nice and helpful. My concern is they never have the same employees for more than a few weeks and they always have openings. Makes me wonder about management and how the employees are treated.

The best experience!! Im from New York where you leave your phone somewhere then someone else will steal it.This food lion gave me my phone after leaving it at the register with cashier 0220.I had stopped by this supermarket on my way back to New York. The cashier was so sweet. After talking to the cashier I didnt realize i had left it on the counter. After leaving the supermarket i went to the subways right next door still not realizing i had left my phone at Food Lion. While walking to my car a woman from food lion stopped me to hand me my phone. Girllllllll was I shocked, i mean who hands someone a new samsung phone, certainly not where im FROM.. I am forever grateful to those girls at food lion. For this reason i had to leave a positive review. Pls if someone sees this review pls thank the woman at food lion for me.. THEY ARE AMAZING!!!!!

The cashiers are so unfriendly, the OA or csm's (keyholders upfront) act as if customers are a burden, especially when they're called to the service desk. If your staff hates their job that much then maybe they don't need to have said job. This is the closest store to my house and unless I only need to grab an item or two I'll drive across town to any other food lion in town just to avoid this horrible customer service on the front end. The other staff is always kind and helpful such as, deli/bakery, produce and meat Dept. They are the only reason I gave two stars. Also it wouldn't hurt for the grocery manager to do a better job of keeping the shelves stocked, especially of sale items.

I am visiting family for the holidays. Totally shocked that on a Sunday night the store is spotless, every register open and everyone and I mean everyone was smiling, friendly and helpful! This is evidently the result of great leadership. Kudos to the team at Food Lion on Andrews Avenue!!

I like the people and there nice ,but getting money order is not good always broke down.i had have to go 2 or 3 time and it down and I go across town to the other food loin I get them.it not down everytime I go across town.but I have to go far more to it.but love the people there are nice.both food loin are nice people.

Over the past few years service has gotten worse at EVERY Food Lion I have visited. (Only two registers open, and having to bag your own groceries.)They have remodeled this particular store and changed their product lines.The organic section has been replaced with wine, wine, wine.I was looking for the usual items that I have been buying for years, and now they have been replaced with different brands.Product placement has changed as well. I didn't know where anything was. The printed store directory isn't like a map, it is an alphabetical list of items.After I got home, I noticed that some of my canned goods were really dusty. On closer look, I discovered that some were past their expiration date.I'm going to try the other Food Lion in Henderson for my next shopping trip. If I have the same luck, I'll be looking for a new place to shop for groceries.

this is the worst food lion in the area sometimes i drive an extra 30 mintues just to avoid shopping there !! ive witnessed fights outside and the cashier and every worker in the store ran outside to watch the fight and left me amd the others standing at the check out waiting for them to return ?? they close the customer service many times because they dont want to deal with it ? absolutely the worst !!!

Went here to buy some 2 liter drinks for a cooking event.The drinks were .99 with the limit of 10.a noisy employee said its a limit of 10 which I had 25.i said ok ring me up 10 at .99 and 15 at regular price .well we can't do that I was told just 10 .I said if I can't get 25 I don't want any I was told to put them back then.dumb people .went to another food lion gotc25 no questions asked

Didn't have the turkey breast advertised. The guy in the meat department said they never got it in. April in customer service was no help because she said that there was nothing she could do. Talk about sucking customer service!

It's Food Lion, they always have a good selection of what you need or want. This particular Food Lion is better to visit in the daytime. Unfortunately the area becomes less safe after dark.
