My husband and I love Dollar General. We do most of our grocery shopping at DG. Being on fixed incomes, the big chain stores are just too expensive, and Dollar General fits our budget very nicely. I would hate it if we didn't have our DG. Also, the people that work there are so nice, and that is a big plus in my book.

The people that work in this so called “business” are extremely rude, they over react and obviously have no idea what customer service is. The people that witnessed how they act were in disbelief. But they never ever stock there shelves and have no products anyway so I would suggest going elsewhere if you want anything at all.

Very convenient in my area. Saves the hassle if Walmart (which is further) and has cheaper items than Ingles (which is my closest grocery store). More limited than either but great for everyday items, plushas some pretty cool decor. Employees at this store are very very helpful and friendly.

Expensive with rude staff. They do have things you can get for a deal on the occasion. We never do grocery shopping, but getting household goods is better here than other local shops.

Awfully funny cause the way I remember it that boy was already autistic when he was hired. So, I'm pretty sure that's not the reason he was fired. Could it maybe have been cause he threatened another employee with a wine bottle and then threatened to kill him self by taking a whole bottle of asprin??? Yea.. that's probably more likely being that the SM of this store used to work in a group home with AUTISTIC people. Great customer service btw and extremely clean store!! :)

I love the special prices and selection at all of their locations. They are quick to open another register when times get busy. I will always shop at Dollar General.

Although you could drive for 20 minutes to Murphy, N.C. (if you're resident or visiting a relatives in Hayesville, N.C IT'S A HUGE BLESSING TO KNOW what once didn't have but a few gas stations, school, basic civil services now is growing so much they've a major chain Hardee's, McDonald's, along with local favorite restaurants like the The Copper Door (upscale) or Mary's (southern cooking) or a conveniently located Dollar General open way later than the ones in my town in georgia, so go to the one close to you spend same amount on whatever you need. Gas only saves you maybe $3 per gallon. Open until 11 PM on a Sunday, yah! Super wooho when all you need is some super glue, gorilla glue or the machine shop favorite loc-tite (spelling?) glue to fix something your kid just broke, lol. Folk's that work there are very friendly and knowledgeable about products in the store!

The store is begining to have more merchandise than ever bdfore.Thd flaw in the place is checkout. There is usually one cashier and a very long line.

Dollar General Store has a lot of stuff in it too much it's hard to find things in the store and you never get around the store very easy also they always have stuff blocking the owls so you have to go around the other way

WOULD NOT EVEN SAY HI ,JUST TOSSED THE THINGS IN THE BAG VERY RUDE TO SAY THE LEAST .IF NEXT TIME THAT I GO TO THAT STORE #17442 AND IF SHE IS ON I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELS WHERE.NOT A TYPEOF PERSON THAT I WOULD HAVE ON CHECK OUT TO SAY THE LEAST.VERY UNFRIENDLY PERSON TO SAY THE LEAST.HELL I EVEN NEEDED TO LOOK FOR HER TO CHECK OUT. I COULD HAVE WALKED OUT WITH OUT PAYING BUT I AM NOT THAT TYPE OF PERSON TO DO THINGS LIKE THAT. YOU COULD BE RIPED OFF VERY EASY WITH HER ON FOR SURE.
