Looking to charter a boat for an awesome fishing trip in Hatteras? Contact the team at Teach’s Lair… we love Capt. Jim with Marlin Mania as our first choice, but all of the charters are excellent. You can get a group of six together or ask if a charter needs a fill for o e or two. You’ll also find the best fishing tackle, t-shirts, gear, and a wine center upstairs! The staff is really professional, helpful and the well informed.

Went fishing on Rabid Tuna with Captain Tim and first mate Jake. Highly recommend these guys. They worked their butt off to make sure we had every opportunity to catch fish. Ended up with plenty of fish and several varieties also.

I've been going on charters for over 20 years through Teach's Lair Marina. Highly recommend Doug Martin with Hallelujah Charters. Fish cleaners do an excellent job and are happy to chat about how to prepare your catch!

This is more a review on the marlin mania then it is for the marina but the marina was nice had a store which sells fishing gear food and souvenirs. They also have a place where you can get your fish cut and ready to eat. As for the marlin mania we had a great time on the boat and would definitely recommend this boat to anybody looking to catch some fish. The captain and the first mate were great they worked really hard to find the fish and did everything they could to get the fish on your pole. Overall had a great experience and really enjoyed fishing with these guys.

I launch my Jetskis out of Teachss Lair Marina specifically for three reasons. The boat ramp is clean, the staff is friendly, and I can grab supplies and fuel up before I go out. They have you fill out a tag and stick it in your windshield so if you don't come back that night, they ha e someone to call and make sure you aren't stranded out in the middle of the ocean.The bathrooms are clean, the dock is very clean, and the location is perfect for quick access to heading out for the day and getting some fish, or jumping waves!Teache's Lair is my go-to for launching!

This is our go to place for our fishing gear and any local knowledge! The guys are great to talk to, and the guys out processing the fish are just as amazing!! Definitely stop n see them all!!

Went fishing on a charter from this marina. We had a great time! We didn't catch too many, but that was the consensus on the radio all day. We really liked how our charter let us do as much of the actual working of fishing as we wanted: they didn't micromanage us.

We were driving around Hatteras, and knew we wanted to eat at HatterasSol. However, they don’t open until 5pm. We knew the wait would be long, and we got here at Teach’s Lair Marina at 3:45. We were pleasantly surprised by the WINE BAR/ boutique upstairs, and had great conversations with the women in the boutique. Especially Olivia, she really made our experience perfect. We will definitely be coming back every time we visit - which is multiple times throughout the year. Thank you so much for the awesome selections of wine and even better company and service. 11/10

Always a treat!We go over every afternoon when on the Island 🏝️It's lots of fun and a great experience to watch the charter boats come in and unload their Catch of the Day. The fishmongers here are absolutely incredible and so much fun to watch.

We took a half day AM charter on the Elizabeth Grace. Great experience! Very good price. Told the Captain (Scott) we were looking to catch some bluefish and speckled trout. We left the dock at 7am and had our limit of Bluefish before 8am. Spent the rest of the day fishing for trout and ended up with about 10 between 4 people. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a great time inshore fishing.

The boats are the best to watch come in with fish. They have a few shirts to pick from. The fish pic was from "The Carolina Girl" the day I was watching.

Free air! If you air down for beach driving on OBX you can really appreciate this simple convenience. Quick-stop shop inside is very nice and I love their Teach's Lair bumper stickers!
