I am very happy with this store cashier Lindsay, she is a knowledgeable employee service with a smile. She went beyond and above to help me with my return. Supv Maddie assisted me with customers service to correct my receipt for sale item that I was over charged.and stock worker Justin was very helpful when I needed to find sale items in the shelf.. The dairy dept - young man named Clint was very helpful when I could not bend down to get packs of food lion brand mozzarella 1 lb and I cannot forget the young lad Bryon who worked on packing my groceries. I will definitely recommend my daughter and friends to shop here. Thank you Ms Smith

Cashier was rude wouldn’t give me a second when I couldn’t remember my mvp card number and didn’t have the card on me. Wouldn’t use the employee card they have. Then he didn’t even bag all my items then he threw the stuff behind the belt. Where it was difficult to reach.. was very rude.

Just was at Food Lion in Harrisburg for one item. Fortunately the cashier that usually waits on us was there, Robin. She opened a registered and waited on us. She is always positive, helpful and able to make change. She counts it out the old way. She has been there to help when needing a money order. We need more cashiers like her, if nothing else to bring a smile to someone's day. I have had clerks in the same store that wouldn't count out change and I ended up coming back for 10 dollars. Smiles help others have a great day. Robin does. Robin is older and has white hair. Have a great dayUpdate Jan 12, 2024. Robin is still working at Food Lion. More staff members should take after her - respect for customers and very helpful. Makes shopping at Food Lion a pleasure.

Went to the Harrisburg fools lion after receiving the sale paper showing their ribeyes would be on special starting 8/30/23 and the two pack on shelves did not look like ones I wanted to purchase ask the butcher to see sone more ribeyes on special and he was completely rude and said there are two out and I’m currently cutting more and walked away. The fact he did not say he would cut a few to show me he walked away and did not come back out. The way he acted at my request took me by surprise. I’ve shopped at this store for over 30 years and never has there been a time I’ve been treated the way I was today. Customers is what keeps the doors open and he needs to be reminded of that. I give 1 star on the butcher on duty at noon 8/30/23. All other employees there were great .

Didn't plan to do our grocery shopping just now, but we wanted to check out this supermarket, and it turned out to be really nice!It was clean, and had a great variety in every section. The fresh fruits and vegetables were great, as well as their meat and chicken.The staff was really friendly and helpful, and we even joined their club for discounts.We didn't plan on doing our grocery shopping, but we ended up buying a lot, but not paying a lot.

The store was nice but the customer service is AWFUL. I was checking out and the cashier didn’t bother to acknowledge me until at least two minutes had passed. Then he proceeded to play on his apple watch and phone throughout the transaction and didn’t look at me once. This is not the usual customer service I’ve gotten before and I’m still going to shop here but you guys seriously need to invest in some customer service training.

former food lion, then bloom and then back to food lion.No self checkout. The service could be a bit better.I ask one cashier to give a nickel if i gave him a penny he couldn't do that I didn't want to carry pennies around, like your till wasn't short or didn't have nickel.

I bought ground beef/chicken, (food lion brand) it went rancid in less than the expiration date it said in the bag. When i open the package i could tell that the texture of the meat was less whole and more smoochy than other ground meat i have bought before. I didn’t like it, I’m not buying ground meat food Lion brand any more.

They're supposed to be open till 11 pm. I stopped just after 9 and they're closed with no obvious sign available to let people know. A bit frustrating especially when you are disabled and getting in/out of the vehicle is not easy.

Excellent service here. The cashiers are very nice and friendly every time I visit! Most of the stock-persons are nice and willing to help. Others barely crack a smile, or look in your direction, but not everyone has a good day everyday, right? The biggest issue is the price of some things. You're better off going to Walmart. Lower prices and WAY larger selection.

I was shopping for broccoli when I noticed a stocker eyeing me up and down by the name of Justin. He made me feel so special unlike ever before. When I brought my broccoli to the checkout, the cashier Matthew complimented my eyes and said they were beautiful. Never before have I felt so welcome and wanted to share my broccoli with anyone. Definitely would recommend shopping here. <3

I like shopping in Food Lion because the store is always clean and usually well stocked. Of course b/c of covid some supplies are either limited or not in stock. The prices are sometimes a little high for me. Today the cashier that rang me up actually took the time to help me learn how to use the app that she'd suggested that I try last week when I was in the store. I really appreciated her giving me the attention I needed especially during this pandemic when most just want to get you through the line. She wore her mask & I did too & we were as far from each other as possible but she still treated me with kindness and consideration. I don't know her name but her # is 0238. Thank you!

This is a slightly different layout from most FL stores, but not in a bad way. Seems to have more options (meats and random organic items) but I was a little put off from the outside banner stating that there were a certain item on sale, but when I asked a clerk it was not in stock (cherries 6/14/19).Otherwise, a great experience; I will return, even with the 20 minute drive, as my local FL does not seem as well stocked, variety-wise.

This Food lion location always has things in stock that other Foodlions in Cabbarrus County do not. They staff are professional and courteous. The store is always clean and they are enforcing safe procedures due to Covid.Great job Harrisburg Foodlion!!

Great variety of grocery products. Very clean and well stocked. Service is excellent. They even had one associate directimg you to the best checkout line. All registers were opened. All customers had zero wait time.

This food lion has undergone a recent remodel, they installed a walk-in beer cooler and moved greeting cards to the front of the store. The wings here are good and they get fresh sushi on Wednesday. The staff is professional and helpful. Overall it's a big upgrade from where it was before the other grocery store moved in across the street. Do not miss out on the prepared meals that you take home and cook they are generally delicious if you can find one on sale it behooves you to make that purchase.

They are always super friendly and helpful in this store. They actively seek interaction and that is refreshing. I expect that in Publix, but it's nice to see it here as well! They seem to have a better produce section here as well.
