Banfield Harrisburg Office has been awesome!!! I don’t do many reviews especially if I don’t have a problem with the establishment but I felt I needed to today I have used the Wellness Plan plans for over 11 yrs (eleven) but it hasn’t always been pleasant prior to me coming to the Harrisburg office I was ready to insist on ending my plan the services and treatment at the University and the Cornelia’s offices were horrible Dr Ashe has been a Savior she called me and assured me she was different and she is! Her staff are Excellent attentive customer service which goes above and beyond what I expected Vets are there because they love our furry friends in my case Yorkies I pray she will never leave I’m not sure how I could replace her the Harrisburg office are Rock Stars!!!Thank you for all you do for my babiesAngela, Danfdy and Daisy❤️❤️

I fought for this country for 8 years in the Navy. I am begging anyone who sees this review to hear me out and find another veterinarian. This location is awful. So much has happened it’s too much to type. Please don’t trust Banfield specifically this location. Between Stephanie Kelly and Dr. Strong I pray one day that they will know how much they broke my heart. Get out now why you can. They are awful.

I love this place. Area my fur baby boy loves it to. They show love and kindness to all their animals. I love that this one is in Pet Smart because it allows me to shop for items for Ares as well.

The people and doctors that work here really do care about your pet and about you. I would recommend them to anyone. My wife and I personally know Christina and Stephanie at the front and let me tell you.....these two ladies are the glue of this business and they have helped me more than I could ever express. Thank you to Christina and Stephanie for all the hard work that you do every single day and don't get credit for. This morning we brought our 2yr old AMAZING cat into Banfield (Harrisburg location) to get a teeth cleaning. Approx. Half hour after we brought him home he DIED. I'm telling you all this because a year ago when he had his teeth cleaned he had a bad reaction. We made Banfield FULLY aware of what happened last time. When I spoke to the tech this morning, he said he would speak with the Dr and that they would do something different with his meds this time. After speaking with the Dr. after my cat started convulsing in my arms, foaming at the mouth, he told me they gave him EXACTLY what they did a year ago. I am not a vet so IDK but common sense tells me that something isn't right here. How does ANY Dr for ANY animal give the same medication they had a bad reaction to again???? I am BEYOND ANGRY that my 16yr old daughter just lost her best friend. We will be speaking with the medical board tomorrow to see what can be done if anything. I will say, my dog WILL NOT be going to Banfield any longer. Please BEWARE if you bring your animals there, that the staff actually listens to you when you speak.He used to climb inside my robe in the morning and snuggle so tight while I had my coffee. We used to say it was our coffee time together. Just not your typical cat.

I called in the beginning of May to make an appointment for the beginning of June for this location. My cat has a hard time with car rides so I made the appointment for this location since it’s closer to home. I didn’t receive a phone call reminder of my cats appointment so I called in to find out exactly what date and time I was then told I do not have an appointment for this location at all one was never made. Which makes me highly upset because the appointments are a month out and I called in the beginning of May. I spoke to the manager Christine, who has very poor customer service skills, and who was not helpful at all. She was actually very dismissive and just wanted to give me a different number to call because she didn’t want to answer my questions. I would like someone to get in contact with me about the situation who is over Christine. The manager position may be too much for Christine to handle a demotion is needed. Christine was overly sensitive and not able to problem solve. They definitely need a new manager maybe a man who doesn’t fold under pressure. Being a manager ain’t for the weak.

Banfield at Harrisburg. I have been going to 3 different banfield hospitals and I like this one a lot because the facilities are new, it is not always busy and the customer service is great. They have treated my dog twice this year with great results.

We had two terrible back to back experiences at this place. They held one of our dogs for 5 hours past her scheduled appointment (routine checkup) and still did not get seen by the vet before we finally decided to take her. No food or water. On top of that, every person we talked to had an attitude and acted so rude and exasperated when we asked for a timeline for release. There is no need to be unprofessional and annoyed when concerned pet owners are inquiring about their pet’s well-being.

Scratching my head why I pay $140/month for my 2 dogs and when I do have an emergency I'm told we can't see you anytime soon and next available appointment is over 30 days out. Would not recommend going here. Find a vet that's reliable and wants to care for your pet.

Dr. Strong is the best!!I was skeptical after our first visit with our golden puppy. We saw Dr. Johnson-Hoffman. She called while our puppy was in the clinic and made me feel awful because she was slightly underweight for her age. She told me "She's a little on the lean side. You should feed her more". I looked up average weight for her breed, age, and gender and her weight was right on track. I did not want to take my dog to her again after that, but I enrolled in the wellness plan so I had to stay at Banfield.We started taking her to see Dr. Strong and he is amazing! He or a tech checks in to see if we have any concerns or questions before the appointment. After the appointment he comes outside to discuss the visit, anything he noted, answer any more questions, and make sure I feel comfortable with the care my dog is receiving. I love that he takes the time to come outside and talk with me. It is so appreciated!!

I rescued a very sick feral kitten and knew nothing about what she needed, having never had a kitten before. I called a few vets and saw the great reviews for Banfield in Harrisburg, close to where I live. The staff was very friendly and beyond helpful, listening to my concerns about being able to afford care, having recently lost my main job. They put together a cost estimate for me, waived the office fee, and walked me through the options I had. Dr. Ash was absolutely thorough and caring, talking me through my concerns. My second experience there was just as positive, and I was able to sign up for an account on the website to help me keep track of vaccines needed, set schedules for flea treatment, see medical records, and all kinds of other stuff. That's really helpful for me to have all that information right at hand and easy to use. I feel confident about my growing kitty, Scout's, healthcare, which allows me to enjoy her company without worrying! She's healthy and happy now, and I decided to keep her instead of merely fostering because my heart belongs to her now!

This Banfield has given me the BEST customer service experience thus far!! They love my boys and it shows! Reception is always lovely, they make me and my dogs feel welcome (which is unfortunately not like some other Banfield experiences I've had), and Dr. Strong always takes his time to explain things thoroughly and answers all my questions. It's never rushed, and always friendly! I love this place and highly recommend to all local pet parents!

Terrible customer service. The girls working at the front desk are often times rude and have an attitude. They made me schedule a second appointment to see if my pet was "fit" to have surgery, even though they had already stablish that on the first visit when he did his biopsy. When i called to schedule the surgery they told me to call back next week because they didn't have the schedule yet. . . My dog has a cancerous tumor it is important to have the surgery scheduled ASAP. They didn't even apologized for the inconvenience or offer to see if another location could accommodate or offer to call me back when the schedule was available. Very poor customer service. Will not be taking my dog back.

I absolutely love the care that my dog has received here. Dr. Ash has been amazing from the beginning and she has a deep sense of care for the animals she treats. She has always been empathetic and I really appreciate her help in treating my dogs Cushings disease. I would recommend this vet to anyone and everyone.
