Closed at 7:45pm when the door says open until 10pm and so does Google. There were atleast 7 customers that pulled in and realized they were closed and left while I was there. This isn’t the first time they have been closed when they were supposed to be open.

This is our closest Dollar General and my first time visiting. We usually frequent the Harmony DG and after today very may well continue our business there despite Union Grove is closer. We walk up to checkout around 4pm and the cashier has her head on the counter. An associate asked her why she even came in and she replied "My Mom made me". I'm sorry to say she appeared as if she hadn't showered for several days. She was not warm nor welcoming. For a brand new, well put together store this issue should be addressed to keep returning local clients.

Very convenient for last minute things but noticed lately they are out of everything for 4 weeks now or longer! Friendly staff and isn’t as cluttered as it was better probably cause they are not getting in stock in idk! Just wish they would stop running out of my favorite items!!

No cashier up front, she was shocking with a full line. No change for $100 and that's all I had. Lady was very friendly, needs to work on customer service skills

This store was cluttered because there were many storage carts with unstocked merchandise in all the aisles. In order to get to the items I needed, I had to move the carts. It was difficult to maneuver throughout the store because of the poor layout. There was also much trash on the floors. It looked as if the store had not been cleaned. Also, I like to shop in comfort. It felt as if there was no air conditioning or that it was not working. It also seemed that this store was very much understaffed. Items need to be stocked before the store opens or at least only stock a small part of the store during business hours. A manager needs to hire enough personnel to efficiently operate a business. If there are two cash registers, both need to be opened, especially if there are customers lined up and waiting to be checked. This was the first time I have been in this particular Dollar General, and for the most part, it is like most of the others. I have shopped in many Dollar General stores (10 in all), and I would only give one of them a superior rating. I will not be returning to this particular store.

This used to be a good store few years ago. This store has drastically went down hill. The shelves are always wiped out and they never seem to put their deliveries away they would rather just stuff them down an aisle and rope it off say aisle closed until further notice. Worlds worst store ever. I've never seen a store with such lazy staff in my life and the few decent employees they do have always seem to be there by themselves so they can't even take the time to put stuff on the shelves. It's sad that I would rather go out my way and drive double the distance to avoid this dump of a store

Dollar general is basically the only store within 20 minutes of my house so I visit occasionally. They have a good selection of things I need however the store is very cluttered and messy. The bread is usually a little stale. Clerks are often away from the counter stocking the shelves. I have been in other, better run Dollar Generals in other locations. I would love it if they made some improvements I would shop there more often. I do appreciate having the store locally however.

Nice store! Went in to buy some last minute extras on Thanksgiving day. Wonderful customer service! Found everything we needed for our family get together...cashier was so happy and helpful!

This chain as u know mostly sells cheap manufactured junk, but this one particular has friendly staff and in a location that is good for country community. Good job y'alls~ plus mom's and sister Gdub loves stopping here for some reason when she's on the way to Boone.

I've been to every Dollar General in Statesville and this is the cleanest I've been in. Normally you have to move boxes to get what you want. I will definitely be going back to this store.

The store is always cluttered... Sales would be much higher for this store because it is the most local for everyone but can't get to allot of stuff on the aisles due to carts,buggies and unshelved items in the way..Very unorganized..Even some aisles are roped off cause of clutter

Always out of bread. Isles are usually cluttered. Always a wait for a cashier. However, cashier's are always friendly and helpful.

Fairly decent establishment. Nice workers. Prices can be a bit overpriced for some things, and there are long lines around 5 and 6 p.m.

This store is a mess. The women's bathroom is inaccessible because the lost the key. Trash everywhere. Product carts that have not been unloaded sitting in the isles.
