This place is so neat and clean. It's definitely not your ordinary gas station type restaurant. It's a real sit and eat restaurant. We've eaten here 4 times and haven't been disappointed yet. Their breakfast is good and the prices are really good. Their hamburgers are amazing and they have the best clam strips I've ever eaten. You have to try the onion rings. The staff is very friendly and you always get your food in a timely manner. Just tried their pizza for the first time and it's the best pizza I've ever eaten. We will eat here for at least one meal every time we come down here. Absolutely amazing food and great service.

This was our 2nd time eating here....The flounder fish plate with FF and home made "special" tartar sauce is fantastic. (The owners grandmother's receipe.) Hush puppies & fries done just right are great and so is the deserts! Out waitress had a boot on her healing leg but was very good. Seating is only six tables but drive up window is constantly busy. Prices for food is fantastic and everything is fresh. If you are anyplace near here, (We drove from Cedar Island about an hour away.) You have to find this hidden gem on Harkers Island. (Hint: It is full of local people not tourists like us!) Places like this are far and few between and very hard to find.

Wanted something different after a weekend of fried seafood. Their pizza is made to order, so be prepared for a wait. It was worth it. Ample toppings, fresh crust, soft, yet nice crunch. Tasty unsweetened iced tea.

Not just a gas station, this is a must stop on Harkers Island. Excellent fried seafood. The super shrimp burger was full of big, lightly breaded shrimp. The oyster basket was a definite hit. Probably the best hush puppies I've ever had. And you need to try the tarter sauce - yummy.

Me and my father went there today,around 2:00.The waitress that waited on us was very unprofessional,cause she was getting off.I asked nicely,before she left,what was taking so long Her answer was,i dont know and left the restaurant. We waited over 40 minutes for our food.Thank goodness the other waitress waited on us and looked into to what took so long.I noticed when she took over,people that was waiting on food,got it fast and she was very professional

Good quality fresh oysters. Only knock would be it’s location in/beside a gas station; that being said, it is not gas station food, and customers entering are only for the restaurant. The service was quick and friendly, and had suggestions for what to get based freshness.Would recommend for a quick togo or eat in joint on the way or back from the ferry service.

Do not let the convenient store next door deter you, this little charming place is great!!The seafood lasagna is deelish!! Apparently you've gotta come early, because it is a high demand!! We had the 4 choice seafood and lasagna. The soft shell crab was perfectly fried, oysters, crab cakes and shrimp. All made in house!!!Almost forgot, Savannah, our server was so helpful and sweet!!! Sorry we scarfed our food down, so the only proof we have is this half eaten key lime pie ;)

We got the most excellent pizza from these folks this week. It was a medium...supreme. My daughter and I, both pizza lovers with healthy appetites, had two meals each from this! Two pieces were very filling. The pizza had about five meats, plus, olives, mushrooms, green peppers, onion, jalepenos...and maybe more...plus a delicious cheese or two ...oh and a perfect crust! Loved it! Gonna try to post a picture ...

The service was unremarkable. My youngest spilled her drink and the waitress mopped the floor, but left all of the napkins sitting on the table until we left. The food was okay but the prices for the food was outrageous. I was charged $7.00 for a cheeseburger without fries and the burger was incredibly small (like McDonald's). But what gets me is that on the menu it clearly states that the price is $4.89. THEY'LL ROB YOU BLIND! DRINK PRICES AREN'T ON THE MENU!!!! $80.00 TOTAL PAID FOR A $50.00 meal. It's sad to see my hometown resort to dirty tactics like this.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch on the way to Cape Lookout. Enjoyed the Christian music playing and picked up some snacks to take out. Unfortunately we both ordered the “Local” shrimp burger. They tasted and smelled a little off, and shortly after we left we were both violently sick with vomiting and diarrhea. Since we both ate the same thing and it was the only thing we ate all day… Needless to say, I don’t think we are welcome back ay Cape Lookout’s restrooms.
