We’ve been going here for years. The wine has always been good, and I think it keeps getting better and better. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. With a huge selection of both dry and sweet wines, there is something for everyone. Definitely one of our favorites in the area!

My husband and I went there for our anniversary in March before everything shut down. It's a great winery with lots of fun wines to taste. All the standard wines are served here as well as a strawberry, margarita, and chocolate flavored wines. They also serve beer. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating overlooks a pond, gazebo and the vineyards. We'll definitely be coming back.Edit March 2024: We've been back every year on our anniversary. Still such a laid back and welcoming place.

Beautiful scenery along with great wine. The property is very spacious and can allow multiple groups there at the same time while social distancing. The warmed cheese block and crackers were delicious.

First time here yesterday, and I'll be back. Owners Jayme and Chuck were amazing. Friendly staff. Nice tasting room and pretty property. They have something for all wine drinkers ranging from a sweet chocolate red wine, to a margarita styled wine, to delicious dry meritage wine. Visit them!

This is a wonderful place to chill and hit a few wine flights! They serve a nice variety of wines for everyone's palate. The views are relaxing. Plenty of parking and outdoor seating on the grounds. Staff was friendly and helpful. This is a definite stop on the trai!

Got a flight a piece and went downstairs outside to enjoy. After 5 minutes, the bugs found us and we headed back inside. Of the 7 wineries we visited, this was the only one that suggested mixing 2 of their wines with one another results in a very drinkable alternative. It's true! I liked one of the wines and was indifferent to the second, but together I liked it better than each individual. This got me thinking of how many good combinations may be out there, my head might explode. 🤯

We enjoyed our visit to Shadow Springs Vineyard. The owner and employees were so nice! The wine was great and we had a great view of the water and vineyard. We lucked out and got a nice shady table with a breeze. It was a hot day, but we didn't notice. We enjoyed it so much.

I am not an avid reviewer, but I feel the need to leave this because we had such an impressive visit at SSV today. First off, the grounds at this winery are absolutely GORGEOUS and stroll friendly. Secondly, the family who owns this winery are so friendly and personable. Lastly and most importantly, the wines are DELICIOUS. If you are reading this in an effort to figure out which winery you want to visit, go ahead and make this one a MUST.

Shadow springs is by far our favorite vineyard! So much so that we are wine club members. Their wine is amazing, the atmosphere is fantastic and the land is breathtaking. Hoosier loves coming too! He is always welcomed with open arms and gets all the attention he wants. I can’t wait for our next adventure up there and the opportunity to pick up their new releases as well as the usual favorites.

We loved our visit to Shadow Springs! We had a party bus of 20 and while I was planning Chuck replied to emails quickly and accepted our group in! Overall so accommodating and welcoming we had an amazing experience and everyone loved all their wines! Would highly recommend !!

I'm always worried about wine made in the South because the climate generally isn't conducive to viniculture. However, Yadkin Valley wines are amazing and Shadow Springs is among the best. They have a great variety of full bodied dry wines as well as some sweeter dessert wines. All are very good. Good prices for tasting and you get to keep the glass. They have ample indoor and outdoor seating. And the are dog friendly!

What a wonderful winery to visit, we had a great time as we brought out own lunch to sit in the porch overlooking the Vinyard and the pond. Jamey as our host was wonderful as we tasted many wonderful wines they make. So peaceful and wonderfully clean place to spend an afternoon tasting their 18 wine varieties. This is a must to visit if you love good wines and a great atmosphere! Check out my pictures of wonderful place.

The staff and owner from Shadow Springs Vineyard went ABOVE AND BEYOND to accommodate our large group. We came the week after New Year so many of the places were closed in the area but the owner texted me directly to help me figure out an itinerary for our group and even brought in extra staff to be sure we got amazing service.The location is beautiful and the wine is superb. Our group had a great time. Cannot thank you all enough for your hospitality and warmth. We will certainly be back!

Visited Shadow Springs for the first time yesterday. It definitely won’t be the last time. A beautiful spot with good wine and a great atmosphere. The staff was warm and welcoming. They offered free tasting which is a pleasant change from most vineyards in the area which charge a fee for tasting.The atmosphere was so changed with warmth that you end up enjoying the time with everyone who is there, not just the people you came with. We truly enjoyed this great little winery.

Out of all the vineyards I visited today this was my favorite. It was such a nice laid back environment. Staff was very nice and helpful. Plentiful seating areas and you can bring your food. Definitely will be coming back. If you are a sweet tooth person try the strawberry shortcake wine!

If you have never been here, boy are you missing a great winery! They have wine flights and by the glass. there is a great wine for every palette. As a treat, you have to try the opulence it is decadent.

Wonderful tasting and really loved the Seyval Blanc and award winning Petit Verdot. And if you have time, get the Justo cheese heated…absolutely divine with a nice bold red ❤️ The owners explain everything about their wines and their vineyard and the view can’t be beat. We’ll absolutely be back to this gem in the Yadkin Valley!

To say we made an excellent decision to have the Rehearsal party for our son an his future wife, now our daughter-in-love, would be an understatement! Absolutely the perfect venue for 75 Friends and Family, such a quaint and gorgeous Vineyard! The owners and staff are kind hearted, professional and willing to do whatever they have to do, to make the occasion wonderful for all! We highly recommend this special treasure! Oh the wine was phenomenal!!!!

We came on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed our time. They are so kind there and we enjoy the atmosphere. The nice lady even recognized us from previous visits. We brought our kids with us and they were able to play some cornhole outside. The patio downstairs was really nice and we had a beautiful view.I would definitely recommend going there. Anytime we pass through the area from GA to PA and back, we make a stop.

Love, love, LOVE shadow springs. Not only are the wines some of the most delicious I have ever tasted, but the owners Chuck and Jamie are so very nice. The winery is beautiful as well. If you are looking for a day full of laughter and a relaxing atmosphere, look no further. I cannot speak highly enough of shadow springs. Be sure to also check out Windsor run, which is right around the corner and offers fortified wines. Between the two wineries, I promise there is something for every pallet. From dry reds to sweet whites, ports, slushies, brandy wines and even beer flavored wine!! Do yourself a favor and check them out, I assure you that you wont regret it. (I'm a sweet wine drinker, and my favorite is french kiss. A chocolate strawberry wine that you will never forget, even if it's not your style)
