I came in to get goldfish with my neighbors kids. Alana went above and beyond in helping us. She let each child (4) pick out their fish individually in the tank of hundreds. She was kind and patient with each child, even commenting on how each fish was such a good choice. She made the experience so enjoyable.

If you are in the market for farm animal or aquarium supplies, this is your store. Also a decent selection of dog and cat food. I went in for dog treats and was blown away by the severe lacking of selection offered in the store. I have been in many Petcos and the treat selection is usually huge and this store only had a few options. I thought having a store down the road would be convenient, but its actually been the opposite. I find myself still shopping online and just having items delivered to my house because the store doesn't stock basic necessities for my dogs. All their fun items like toys, treats, PJs, etc I just order online. The store feels it's more important to stock chicken coops for some reason even though there is a Tractor Supply up the road. Pretty sad, I've only found the store has had one item I've needed for my 4 dogs the whole time it's been opened. Also, sad Petco makes you pay into a membership now to get any kinds of discounts now too. That I definitely will not be doing.

Floor sales attendant limits you how many fish you can buy even if you want more. Happily told me to shop elsewhere when I didn't like it. Last time I use that store.

It was nice and well stocked on dog essentials. I need Macaw food, but the pickings were slim. It was mostly seed, without the big bites. Overall, very nice store and staff.

I primarily go in for crickets. I've told the employees many times blowing your breath in the bag does not give the bugs oxygen it kills them, and reptiles need them alive. Yesterday my boyfriend picked them up for me, and luckily he remembers that's not the right way and corrected the employee. He said he's been there 7 months doing this.

While I absolutely love how close this store Is, I will not be coming back! I am an absolutely insanely petrified of snakes. I went to check out and your check out person had a snake on his damn hand!!! Like while I adore the fact that someone has to love them! I about had a frigin heart attack and ran out of your store!! I avoid that area of your store on purpose and now will be avoiding the store all together! I literally will now be having nightmares because of this encounter! I know it sounds dramatic but, when it comes to this (my only fear) it is this level of crazy insane anxiety! Great store but if you’re terrified of snakes BEWARE!!! Some staff may be walking around with them on their body!!!

I'm not impressed with this new Petco. When the store first open they had lively fish, tentative workers but now there are dead fish in the tanks. There are dead snails into the tanks. And you will be lucky if you are able to get an employee to help. I asked an employee named Joe ( I believe that was his name.) if the snails were alive. His comment to me is he would have to go in the tank and find out. I was interested in buying some snails but he couldn't take the time to check and see if they were alive for me. I highly recommend Pet Supplies Plus! The reason I gave two stars is for the kittens. They were adorable!

Bought a harness and it was to big for my dog. So I came back to return it. The return policy is you can take it back in 30 days and get your money back. I went to return the harness in less than 24 hours with the receipt, original tags, and perfect harness. They told me they can give me a gift card but not give me my back money on my card.

They now charge for a bag - so if you buy 8 things - I guess you got to pay for the bag - only 10 cents - but to me it's the point. Did not charge first few times I was in there. Nice store, friendly clerks. Like most pet places - the tropical fish area is hardest to get assistance.

We have loved this store the few times we have been so far! However today, we went to go look at possibly getting a fish for our little girl, and we were shocked at the amount of dead fish in the tanks (goldfish). There were clumps of dead fish floating around and many many dead fish stuck to the filter. I’m sure it is hard to keep these guys alive, but this was excessive. Hopefully it’s something that can be maintained a little better moving forward. I’m sure we will still be back!
