Love Dr K Farmer and his team. They are thorough, have reasonable pricing, actually spend more than 5 minutes in the room with you and listen to ALL of your concerns. Dr Kyle had excellent table side manner putting my old man to rest. Everyone is so polite and professional. The clinic is clean and my wait time is never too long.

Dr. Abby Farmer is amazing. She’s always so kind and honest. She understands that my elderly dog is my fur baby and best friend, and treats her with compassion every visit. The rest of the staff are very kind and the office is always clean when I visit, which is impressive for a veterinarians office. Worth the 30+ minute drive from North Topsail.

Took my big malamute to Pet Health of Hampstead today for his vaccinations. He was treated like a rock star. Lots of photos, treats and pats from all the staff. The vets, Kyle and Abby Farmer, and the staff could not be nicer and more efficient. Dr. Kyle Farmer took his time on this visit, made suggestions and was very kind in his treatment of my big baby.They took us into the room at the exact time of our appointment. The room was very nicely air conditioned at about 69 or 70 degrees, which is perfect for a malamute with two layers of fur. We were seen within minutes. When we were finished, the staff came in so we could pay without having to go into the waiting room (which is always nice with a big dog on a leash)! They asked if they could keep my card on file so I didn't have to bother with pulling it out each time. I had requested to do just that with the old vet owners, but they would not allow it.I am so happy to have Pet Health of Hampstead with Doctors Kyle and Abby Farmer treating my big boy. Can't say enough good things about them.

Had our first visit at Pet Health of Hampstead, and it was awesome. Little to no wait, easy in and out, and very caring with my dog. It is important to note, I accidentally came 2 hours early by accident and they were so accommodating and saw us early. Post visit, they quickly texted me with test results and any updates. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful veterinarian and extremely fast and efficient. This was our kittens first vet visit and they didn’t want to overwhelm her since she was acting extremely nervous and anxious. They were accommodating and even lent us a carrier to bring her back home. We know our kitten is in good hands.

We have nothing but amazing things to say about this practice and its staff and their compassion. When we had a very urgent emergency for our dog, they were able to see us very quickly. Tried a few different vets since moving here and this one has been the best. Dogs love it here, prices are reasonable, and staff is always friendly. Our vet seems to really enjoy our dogs and care about them.

Our first visit. Very pleased with staff. Establishment was clean.Vet was excellent. He took the time to listen to the problem we were having and performed a good examination. Explained everything clearly and showed genuine interest in both of our fur babies. Would highly recommend this clinic.

The male vet tech and the doctor were amazing. They were so thorough and explained everything and really ensured I was comfortable and knew what was going on. They also both made Riggs feel so much better and did everything they could to make sure he was not anxious. I’m super thankful for them being so caring.

I am so incredibly disappointed with the new ownership. I had nothing but great experiences until I just went to pick up my dogs monthly allergy medication and without notice it went up to $107.60 a month from around $83ish. When I called back for an explanation the sweet receptionist said the doctor said it because Dr. Martin was not charging a dispensing fee and they now were. Unfortunately we will now be moving vets because I think that is absolutely absurd. To add, I called other local Hampstead vets and were quoted all around $80-$85 for this same prescription. The very sweet receptionist also said I was not the first to complain about the increase of price. We will take our sweet pups elsewhere.

Dr. Farmer is great, as well as his team members! My almost 17 year old poodle had progressively gotten worse over time, and there was no more trying to keep her comfortable. It was time to say goodbye to her. 😭 They were all very warm and compassionate to she and I during this very difficult time. They explained my options to stop her suffering and my options following.They have always taken excellent care of our furbabies.Thank you, Dr. Farmer and your wonderful team during this difficult time for me.

Dr. Kyle Farmer is so kind and thorough during visits. The vet techs are so patient and easy to talk with. I bring both my dogs here and they have different needs and the staff addresses everything every visit. They go through the costs and options with you for the more expensive visits. The office staff is always nice and sends me all documents quickly. I'm so glad to have found this vet's office!
