Standard Food Lion nothing really special except for some of the best prices on groceries you can find. This door was very well stocked and exceptionally clean. The staff needs to be commended for their pride in their work.

Usually the cakes I order from the bakery here turn out good. However, the one I got today wasn’t even cold when I picked it up, and by the time I got home (6 mins) the whipped icing was so runny that it was starting to run off the cake. $38 wasted.

Food Lion has the freshest produce around. They always have the Fancy Feast cat food that my cats like. I went in to buy radishes because they are fresh and taste like radishes should. I always get money back on the app. Everyone is always nice and the wait is short at the registers.

Food lion has all of what you need and produce is pretty good. I am saddened that they are not selling my peppercorn salmon anymore! I'm glad they have always had more than enough Cashiers for everyone and no one is waiting in long lines

Everyone is just so nice and friendly and the ladies and the deli department just went above and beyond with a cake I just needed a name written on and they were so sweet I haven't shopped here in over 10 years because I moved away and just remember how nice everyone is in small town areas makes me miss home

The management and cashiers are friendly and smile say hello. The stockers gladly help and even go out of there way to help. Not just say it's on isle "7 on the on the left" they will actually walk talk and help and help you look no matter how old or young you are. Because I was looking for something and there was some of us of different ages. I really didn't expect that. It was nice. Something my kids loved found they loved in Alabama but nobody carried around here. Management asked for a bar code it's been in stocks since! I Highly recommend it! There deli als9 has the best cakes! Especially the whipped icing. It is not very sweet and the only icing my kids will eat! Food Lion Hamlet NC Thank You! 10/10

Not very happy with one of the cashiers and one of the managers in hamlet foodlion. Gotten all food items where everything is tooken off with ebt, but then they wanted to charge us for something that we did not get nothing that was not food wise just couple of things that is good, instead of looking to figure out the the issue they still made us pay and they did nothing but have a complete attitude for no reason and wanted to throw our food.

Great variety of items. Most of the staff are helpful but I did go recently to purchase jerk marinade in their self proclaimed "International Aisle" and couldn't find it. I requested assistance from one of the staff, who appeared to have just helped someone else. He stated he was going for help and NEVER RETURNED!!! So I waited with my granddaughter and my disabled brother for about 15 minutes before I gave up. What bothers me is that I was in the store for an additional 40 minutes shopping(approx $250) and no one still tried to rectify it. I will say that I have made previously uneventful trips to this store with no issues, but during those trips I didn't need assistance.vi was able to find Walkers wood Seasoning in Walmart, with the help of one of their staff, so it wasn't a total loss for my Rasta Pasta dish.

I have seen 1 pricing error in 3 years, that makes this team above reproach.For a small store this little location offers as many great things to cook as the fine Deerfield Retirement Community in Asheville NC with their full staff.Best 8 piece fried chicken around; certainly better than many interstate fast food franchises!I left one star to less turnover; and more young people choosing to go the distance; but other than that; accolades!

I was relocated to the area about a year ago and this is one of the closest and ONLY grocery stores around. Not much of a selection. This store for the small area has a pretty good selection and is very clean. It is very lacking in the meat department/butcher, I don't know which is the problem. If a specific meat is on sale, they more than likely don't have it, what they do looks terrible, or it's still in the back. So it's hit or miss most of the time on sale meats (steaks, roast, some pork cuts). I will say this store has EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE at checkout. They are the friendliest bunch. Every time I walk in this store several people great me.

The staff was very nice and very helpful. When I went into the store, I was walking ok. By the time I got ready to check out, I was barely able to walk.I have arthritis really bad. My right knee and the right foot. The cashier and another lady was helping me to put all my bags in the buggy. She even afforded to help me take everything to the car for me. Wish I had gotten their names.It was one of the best visit I had at the Hamlet Food Lion.

Normally my local Food Lion rocks. However due to medical problems I was very disappointed that while using a moterized cart. Most of what I needed I required extra assistance from other customers because no employee was found in the isles. I did not get extra help until checkout and then assistance getting everything to the car. I have been a customer since 2006!!!!! I was very disappointed except for the cashier and the young man who helped me to my car.

In the 15 years I have lived in Rockingham, I have not once had an issue with cashiers or customer care. The folks at FL are helpful and friendly. I have former students, children of friends, my own friends, and relatives who have been and are currently employees of FL and I havent heard a complaint from them about work conditions. The bottom-line: happy employees make happy customers. Thank you, Food Lion for always taking care of my family's needs!

Excellent produce selection and quality. Employees are very nice and helpful; if you can't find something, just ask. There's a Food Lion closer to our home, but we drive all the way over to this one because of the superior selection and experience.

This food market was visited on a Sunday morning and there was no wait time. The market is neat and nicely stocked items. Prices are ok, however you can fine certain things at a cheaper price. I would recommend this food market.

I go to this food lion since it's close to home usually not to busy and most of the time have plenty of employees at check outs so your wait isn't very long and they mostly have all the essentials you need without having to go to Walmart

I do believe their fried chicken is worse than the chicken at Walmart. Greasy skin and breading is primarily what you get. The chicken isn't cook thoroughly. Seasoning is missing.

Food Lion is underrated sometimes. I don't know how they've managed to stay afloat and avoid the fate met by Winn-Dixie, Bi-Lo and several other grocery chains that got steam rolled by Walmart during the previous decade's economic downturn. But, I am glad they made it. Walmart still has them beat on some prices but their produce usually looks way better than Walmart's and the prices on fresh foods like produce are always comparable if not better. They had delicious red grapes on sale today for 99 cents per pound. Can't beat that. Also, if you are vegan, their tofu is cheaper than Walmart's and they are the only grocery store near me that sells all three varieties: silken, firm and extra firm. (Try being vegan in the south -- especially in North or South Carolina - the barbecue capitals of the world. Pork is king.) They also offer a few brands of dairy milk and cream alternatives that Walmart doesn't. They may be overpriced on some of the dry goods but I like what the offer for fresh foods. I still have to go to Walmart for some things but I tend to visit Food Lion about once a week to get all the things I need.
