The only reason this place got a 3 star review is because of the ONE employee yall are working to death..... Tiffany is so sweet & is in this store the majority of the time short staffed or no staff. Idk what the heck is going on here but if she isn't there the store opens late/closes early & nothing gets stocked without her doing it. Give this woman a RAISE.

The store closes whenever they want. I went at 8pm today and they had already closed. It's a contest problem. Everyone says it's the manager that runs the employees off. Maybe it's time for some changes.

This is one of the best Dollar General stores I've ever visited and shopped at. It's very organized and it's fairly easy to find what you are looking for. You can even go grocery shopping here! The staff has always been very helpful. The only downside is that it takes them a while to get to the counter, so I've had to wait a pretty substantial length of time to be checked out. Other than that, it's a great store!

This location is my favorite as far as finding merchandise I am searching for, store layout, and cleanliness. However, two or more employees are not very friendly and in my honest opinion, people who have jobs/careers which are centered around customer service, should at least pretend to be helpful, as opposed to being loud,rude, and unprofessional. However they still only lost 1 star because the employees who are not representing the company very well, can be replaced.

I just started working there tomoarrow will make 3 weeks im hoping to show the customers that they do matter i treat everyone with respect i greet everyone when walking in to the store i speak to customers when i see then walking around and when they come to check out and leave alot of people dont have what it takes to work with the public i do i have 14 years working with the public im just hoping to put a smile on my customers face and make them feel wanted while shopping at my store

Great place to break your leg, elbow, or possibly even a knee (or two), as merchandise is littered across a few of the isles inside of this location. Be very mindful of exactly where you step. Employees seem "bothered" that you have the nerve to desire to check-out...

Every single night I go past this store or go in this store to shop at night ALL the lights are off and they make the store looked closed by doing so and it’s purposely done EVERYNIGHT. The parking lot is so pitch black from them turning off ALL the outside lights ( the Dollar General sign on the building, the outside building lights and the Dollar General Road side Sign) This isn’t at 10:30pm or after, this is at 7pm, 8pm or even 9pm. It makes me very angry to have to park my car, get out with my children and walk in the pitch black dark not knowing if someone or something is going to hurt us or try and steal from me or whatever else could go wrong or happen.... please stop cutting the lights off unless you are closed because you don’t want customers and you want them to think you’re closed it’s not safe for your customers to walk from their vehicles. I will continue complaining until this problem is resolved. Most of the employees are nice. Everything else with this store is great and the Hours I love and they are really convenient for me when I need to get items so that I don’t have to go to Walmart at all.

I will never stop at this store again. They would not let my five-year-old daughter use the bathroom after we had been shopping in the store for 10 minutes.

Just left there to go to Tommy's Grocery & Grill to use the bathroom. Can not stay and shop because my 4 year old has to use the bathrooms and the clerk said the bathroom is not for customers. If you have NO customers you have NO bathroom at all because there would be NO store!! To add to my complaint the parking lot was a filthy mess.

Two of their female associates were standing at the front door talking about non work related things, I did my shopping and stood at the register waiting for about one minute then 1 of them yells out to the 1 guy that was working that he had a customer . Not what I would like my business looking like, unprofessional in my opinion.

It was okay because nothin went wrong although once again not very friendly cashier so I'm not sure if Dollar General employee's don't like people hate their jobs or what but last time I checked we were the paying customers

I always have a problem when I go to this particular DG. The employees like to add their rules to "the policy". Which I know for a fact these rules aren't the real policy! I don't know why I decided to stop that day!

The manager and assistant manager are the most racist and rude people i have ever had to deal with in any store ever. The employess are always rude and seem like its a bother to check people out. They refuse to take coupons.

I love the DG in Grimesland. I go and shop in there religiously (which its the only place in Grimesland to reAlly shop) but no matter what time of day or day of the week it is always clean, well stocked, and has very friendly customer service.

My visit was alright, but sometimes the workers were rude and nobody greeted me. Other than that, my visit was great and I would recommend this Dollar General.

Rude , Rude ... Nephew had been working on a roof all Day.. Went to get a few things.. And they Thought he was stealing. SINCE he was Dirty...Had more money in his pocket...Then they Probably had in the cash register..
