I went here the other day 1/6/24 for my first time to get me a bacon and cheese biscuit and when I got it, it was full of nothing but cheese and they only give u two slices of bacon for a BACON and cheese biscuit so I wonder if I would of just got a bacon biscuit would it have been the same🤔!! But anywho I took it back up there and I asked for a refund and she says to me oh yea that’s how we make our cheese biscuit and I was like with barley any bread and only two pieces of bacon with nothing but a half of block of cheese on the biscuit like no who wants that fr !! So she proceeded to say out her mouth well if you want something like that u needa go to Kash and Karry for that like u dame right bc you’ll get more out of your money with kash and Karry rather then this spot and it’s sad that it’s a black owned business and they doing they customers like that and telling them they could of went somewhere else but like be fr TWO PIECES OF BACON!!! They not even thick at that they are thin I told her I was basically paying for a cheese biscuit with a side of bacon just a very bad experience for my first time and yea just never again.

They are friendly people—my second time there. The only problem I was concerned about was that they charged for water cups, which was 1.50 for a small cup. That she set for a jumble cup, which we didn't have. Though the water was free, it was free. You pay for the cup. My friend ordered a 6.59 she charged him 8.59 for his dish. My plate was 8.15, the regularprice for my dish, And he only added cheese, which is 75 cents. His sausage was cold; he didn't want to complain about his dish, just decided to eat it. Our food came up to 20.95. I paid, not thinking why it came up to that price mind was thinking of other things. We didn't realize that till we decided to look at the receipt after we left felt like we were being overcharged. We are not the type that complains or makes no one mad. We love peace. We are just going to fall back from going. All I'm saying is pay attention to the price and what you order so you won't be over the charger overall; the food is delicious

I just recently relocated to Grifton, NC and came across this cafe. From the food, to the service, and the hospitality of other guests dining in… A++After visiting ShaZam’s for the first time, I can honestly say that the food is amazingly priced and so very yummy. The service was wonderful, as the two employees were extremely friendly and seemed like they thoroughly enjoyed being there. The environment when entering this place was absolutely incredible, and easily makes you feel welcomed and at home. I cannot say enough good regarding my first encounter! I will be visiting quite often and this LOCAL restaurant will definitely be getting my business. Thanks a ton ShaZam, and keep up the great work.P.S. - make sure to try the french toast, it is f a n t a s t i c!

A great steak dinner on fridays. For just $20 you get a steak, shrimp or trout, 2 sides, and a bread roll. A prime example of a coastal Southern Dining. Their primary focus is breakfast and I have had their sausage biscuit. Amazing as well. Call ahead though as I was there at 4:40 pm and there were 4 orders in front of me

Their breakfast lunch and dinner is really good; type of southern hospitality and flavored food I expected. Ms. Crystal and her crew are stellar!👍🏽💪🏽 I will definitely be a frequent patron.😎

Went to Shazam this morning for the 1st time but it will be my last time. When we walked in NO ONE SAID HI, GOOD MORNING, HOW ARE YOU, NOTHING. Then I had to go get the menu myself and I had to walk up to the counter to place our orders. Being that we sat down I figured we'd have a waitress but nope! Got our food (which was definitely not worth $22.71), the grits/cheese were cold, no salt or pepper available & we got 2 bottles of oj with 2 empty cups. No ice? Sheesh! To think I put off going to Yoder's for this! NEVER AGAIN!

The food is excellent and the service is great!! The lemonade is home made!! I even like their buttery bun they make their sandwiches with!! From soul food to fast food all in one cafe!! Not to mention very reasonably priced....Love it and will be back!!!

Far from friendly I approached the counter to order and they barely acknowledged me. I attempted to order an omelette not knowing that breakfast ended 2 mins prior it was literally 10:32, and the lady in a snappy tone sad they didn’t have anymore breakfast. So naturally I attempted to order lunch, she snaps again saying they don’t have it ready. I will never pay for poor customer service it’s a way to verbalize things and she failed the assignment. As a business owner myself I hate seeing other black owned business operate in this way. Customer service is KEY!!!
