I love that they work with you on different options for budgets and truly want the best for your animals. Life is so busy right now and they have never shamed me for falling a little behind on preventatives, but instead set up a plan to make it easier on me while ensuring we keep up with the needs of my pup.

I feel this Vet and her team are a special group. They really make you and your fur baby feel relaxed and at home. Dr Heath communicates well on the diagnosis and options. Missy seems less stressed at the appointments.

I had forgotten my book bag for school as I attend ECU. I had my boyfriend meet me halfway which was this vet hospital, with my stuff who is over an hour away from me and just long enough to get my stuff and leave. Before we know it some guy pulls up in a silver/grey Chevy Silverado and says in the most rude way “this is private property you need to leave”.Please explain to me how a vet hospital which is open to public service, is private property. If it’s private property, simply don’t have it open to the public! He never asked why we were there but I still explained that I simply forgot my stuff for school and was getting it (my book bag). All he said was you can’t be here you need to leave, and not even a few seconds later we both left.We had no problem with complying with what he was saying and leaving but what we had a problem with was how rude he was. If he’s that rude of a person then he doesn’t need to own a business that socializes with others because that right there told me that I would never take my dog there just based off him being a complete jerk about the situation.

I found a kitten on the side of the road after it ran across the road in front of my truck. I stopped and got it because I was worried it would get hit by a vehicle. It was very tiny, young, and in pretty bad shape. It had a cold, eye infection, worms, and pretty dirty. I didn't see any other cats around or any houses....no idea how it got out by the road. Anyway, I tried calling my veterinary office and they said they couldn't get the kitten in to be seen for over a month. So, I started to look for a different vet and found Faithful Friends.....I called and they worked us into their busy schedule the next morning. They were very nice and took care of the kitten. Explained everything, and sent us home with some medicine.Coco Puff is doing well now and playing like a kitty.

I absolutely LOVE FAITHFUL FRIENDS. I refer every pet parent I know to them!I first started bringing my baby, Nugget, to FFVH about 12 years ago and Dr. Heath and staff have provided consistent, over the top service. I had adopted Nugget after his previous owner passed away. Nugget had a plethora of allergies and health concerns. He also had past trauma and anxiety which made him more challenging to work with than most dogs, but the staff at Faithful Friends met that challenge with love and a smile every single visit. When it came time to help Nugget peacefully transition due to his health and old age, their care of him, and me was beyond words. I’ll never forget that day and all they did to comfort me during the process and the sentimental gifts they provided me with to keep as a memory of him.Now I have 2 new puppies, Psalm and Onyx, who I bring to Faithful Friends. The staff love on them as their own and take great care of them. They’ve been coming to them since 8 weeks of age for vaccinations and checkups, and have recently been neutered at FFVH. I’m a very cautious pet parent who asks lots of questions and I’m very mindful about who I entrust my babies to, but I trust Faithful Friends 100% to know what’s best and provide the best quality of care. They truly feel like family! If you’re wondering where to take your pet, this is the place!!

Our dog is family. She is our heart, and I wouldn't trust her care to anyone else. Bella is a little "high maintenance"; she doesn't enjoy being in the back with the other dogs barking, so they accommodate her by letting her sit up front with the receptionist. She doesn't like to have her nails clipped, but they are very patient with her, and find different ways to make her comfortable. They are very understanding with her, because what worked last visit, may not work this visit.I also took my mother's cat to Faithful Friends for a second opinion, and while the cat had a condition that couldn't be cured, Dr. Heath gave him another 6 months of happiness with my mom.It may be a little more expensive than other options, but how much is your family's care worth? I know when i go to Faithful Friends, that every option available is offered to me. I know that Bella is in good hands, and I don't worry about her when I drop her off. Paying a little extra is worth it to have peace of mind and know that your babies are taken care of in the same way you care for them.I also highly recommend the grooming service. You are given a chance to specify exactly what you want for your fur baby. The groomer is very patient also, and usually meets me afterwards to let me know how the visit went.Bella loves Dr. Heath and the other employees at the practice. We are about to adopt another puppy, and her visits will be with Dr. Heath as well.

My puppy had parvovirus and he had not had his shot and I only had 200 dollars and they came to the truck and tested him he came back positive … they brought all the meds we needed and a iv bag showed us how to insert the needle in him and all his medicine …. Needless to say he made it thanks to you guys and I will forever be grateful!

Faithful Friends is truly a love connection to my dog's wellbeing.My husband and I have a dog with chronic health problems. So, we take her to Dr Heath for Dr Heath's wisdom and her genuinely caring staff. My dog loves to go to Faithful friends even though she gets a pinch here and there from necessary antibiotics. Mable is actually quite excited to visit Faithful Friends and squeals like we are going to Grandmas when we turn into their drive way. My husband and I have been taking our little ones to Dr Heath and her staff for nearly 20 years. The atmosphere is warm and soothing to us, especially during those timeswhen we have had to let go and let Dr Heath usher our babies to Heaven. So many times, we, as parents, are frightened about Mable's condition but Dr Heath calls us at home to educate and assure us. I would rather no other clinic take care of Mable in this life, or when she has to transition to the next. We love DR Heath and Janice and all the others working on behalf of our babies.Yaaay!!! Go team!

I have a little dachshund she’s 14 years old and was having bad skin allergies and inner ear infections Faithful Friends got her on the right diet and new meds that have got her cleared up and she is doing great! She has so much spunk and energy now! I have seen a complete turnaround!! Faithful Friends vet have been amazing every step of the way of getting Maggie feeling better!!

Love love this place! Dr. Heath and her staff are wonderful. I moved and decided to try a Vet a little closer to home. A recent and unfortunate situation landed me back at Faithful Friends. The level of care and compassion is immeasurable. I am forever grateful and will definitely make sure I drive the extra 10-15 minutes in the future. Best Vet and office I have ever dealt with.

Our journey with Dr Heath and her staff really started 23 months ago when my husband and I got a new boxer pup for our daughter Shelby so she would have a companion at college. During our first visit taking Thor, Dr Heath was amazing giving us all the information about boxers and then some. She told us things to do and not to do and told us about Trupanion(which is pet insurance).Thor left with all kinds of goodies and fact sheets. Per Dr Heaths suggestion we decided to obtain the Trupanion insurance. Fast forward 4months later Thor unfortunately turned ill and was diagnosed with SMRA. We as her family were heart broken and scared that our little Thor would not make it. He spent several nights at the vet getting daily updates from Dr Heath herself on Thors condition. Are whole family went and picked Thor up from the vet and we arrive to our pup Thor just so excited to see his family. At this time we not only were greeted by Dr Heath but her actual family who we learned also helped with Thors recovery. Dr Heath informed us that Thors condition would be a long journey but Working together Thor will improve and get better. Now really fast forward thru time over the next two years. Thor has had his ups and downs with his condition but having Dr Heath and her staff there for him and his family words aren’t enough to say how grateful we have them in Thors life. We are so glad we took her advice and listened to her at his first puppy visit to get pet insurance and then with her knowledge patience and love for animals is why our pup Thor is still alive and for the most part doing amazing. His SMRA doesn’t follow the books for he likes to write his own as we say, but I can tell you one constant is that Dr Heath is amazing and will always be in Thors life as his vet family. If we could have we would give her 10 stars!!!
